00:11including the City of Liverpool College, Liverpool Hope University and Edge Hill University approved
00:18to offer the short courses. Ministers say the new lifelong learning entitlement will help people
00:24balance study with work, childcare and other responsibilities by funding smaller qualifications
00:30over time. The courses will focus on areas facing skills shortages including computing,
00:36engineering and health and social care. Ministers say the changes will widen access to learning locally.
