00:00We're learning to do jobs in this economy to then improve the economy. Everyone puts a shift into it to
00:06help the economy and we kind of have a consequence of learning. So like people who do mechanical engineering, mathematics,
00:13science and stuff like that have racked up a debt when actually they're only trying to get a job and
00:16help people and then they've got 60 grand on them as well.
00:20On our day, when we went to university, we got grants. I got £6.25 a term. Then I got
00:34all my tuition free and I got my accommodation free.
00:37Like you accept that debt for the rest of your life on the premise that you're actually probably going to
00:42get a job that's going to earn you a good bit of money, but that seems like it's not a
00:47thing anymore.
00:47If you want to go into further education in order to increase your earner potential in later years, then that's
00:55a consequence of your decision.
00:56And I don't think the government should be subsidising that if you choose to do it.
