00:24conclude it with its fourth season. Based on Michael Connelly's best-selling novels,
00:28the series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as defense attorney Mickey Haller. The fifth and final
00:34season will adapt Resurrection Walk, the seventh book in the franchise, and introduces Mickey's
00:39previously unknown half-sister, Emmy, played by Kobe Smulders, who asks for his help freeing a
00:45wrongfully convicted woman. In a statement, co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dalen Rodriguez
00:50said, quote, all good things must come to an end, but thankfully sometimes how they come to an end
00:55is up to us. They added that from the beginning, the goal was to only tell Mickey Haller's story,
01:00but to give it a, quote, proper conclusion. The pair also promised fans a final season that delivers
01:06a, quote, satisfying finale Mickey Haller deserves. The series has remained a strong performer for
01:11Netflix. Season four spent four weeks in the streamer's global top 10 for English language TV
01:17series, totaling 26.4 million views during that stretch. In the U.S., the show also landed in Nielsen's
01:24streaming top 10 originals for five consecutive weeks, peaking with 2.54 billion minutes watched
