00:00The Texans, Clint, they will travel to London week six.
00:05I just want to throw out that I've never been to London,
00:07but they will travel to London week six.
00:10They'll have an 8-30 game, which I'm sure right now you're upset,
00:14but when that postgame ends really early and you've got the rest of your day,
00:17Clint, I think you will start to embrace the 8-30 game.
00:21Yeah, old Pendergast reminded me that I'd be able to see the games
00:25that I'm more fond of.
00:26I will now be able to see because of the Texans.
00:28You'd be up out of there.
00:30You might even slip into church service.
00:32But that's coming up from Wembley Stadium in London, Clint,
00:37and they'll play the Jags there.
00:39First time they've been there since 2019
00:43with a completely different team and quarterback there.
00:46But that is what we know right now about their schedule.
00:50Ron, I absolutely hate the time slot for us.
00:53For them, I'm sure it's great.
00:55I hate it for us, right?
00:57At 8-30 in the morning here, I've got to believe that they could find a better time than that.
01:04I'd rather the game start at 10 o'clock at night than 8-30 in the morning here,
01:08to be completely honest with you.
01:09But I'm not a fan of the time slot.
01:11But I'm going to tell you, man, I think there is way too much being made
01:19about the travel and stress on players of playing these international games.
01:27J.J. Watt, I typically agree with J.J. Watt.
01:29I completely disagree on this one.
01:31J.J. Watt tweeted,
01:32International game slate is nearing the realm of a traveling circus
01:37as opposed to occasional showcase.
01:41Look, I mean, this is clearly one of those situations
01:44where as an organization, a team, a player, an analyst,
01:47you can view it as a big-time positive and a big-time opportunity,
01:53or you can view it as a big-time negative.
01:56I totally understand that.
01:58But I'm going to tell you, as a person in the moment, right,
02:01as a player, coach, significant other to a player, coach, family member to play,
02:06this is a, I mean, ridiculously cool opportunity to go over
02:14and experience this game that we love so much here in a different country.
02:19I've done it, haven't played over there.
02:20It's crazy, man.
02:22Everything about it is totally different.
02:26And I think it's something that should probably be more embraced.
02:30And I'm not saying I want to go play half my games over there.
02:32Not like the Jags who play there twice a year.
02:34Yeah, yeah.
02:35I'd be okay with twice.
02:37But, like, I just, I don't know, man.
02:39I don't know what the Texans are going to do.
02:42Are they just going to take off at a weird hour and go over there and land
02:46and take a nap and go play?
02:47Or are they going to go over there a couple of days in advance?
02:49If this is a go over a few days in advance, hell, I'd go over a week in advance.
02:52I think it probably will be.
02:54And I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bye week ahead of it
03:00or if there is some sort of Thursday night game where they have extended.
03:05Because Jacksonville will be there.
03:09Jacksonville, they play another game in London the week prior.
03:13So they are going to be there two weeks, which is going to be a huge advantage.
03:17Well, look, I would imagine Nick and D'Amico do a great job of all the advanced data
03:21and stuff like that.
03:22And so there might be something out there that says, nope, you leave it at whatever time,
03:27the day before, and you go play right away.
03:29When you land, boom, you bang it out.
03:30There's never a time change for you.
03:32You just go do it.
03:33I don't know.
03:33If that is possible, I would imagine the Texans would do it.
03:36But if there's, like the Jags, for instance, Ron, they're going to be over for two weeks.
03:41I mean, that's a crazy opportunity.
03:42That is, to be playing a game, and I understand the games are important.
03:47Every game matters.
03:48There's 17 of them, and it's playoff seating, and I get it.
03:50But I just think we overanalyze and over, I mean, this is a really cool, a fan, to go over
03:58there,
03:58especially if you're a Jacksonville fan, to be able to go over there at any three,
04:02four-day stretch over a 10- or two-week period.
04:04To go see the Eagles and the Texans.
04:06Yes.
04:06They play back-to-back.
04:07Yeah, I mean, to go over there and do that and see your family, watch American football,
04:11experience what London has to offer, and I mean, what a cool opportunity.
04:17But yet, all we hear is how stupid it is because of the travel and how bad it is for
04:21the players.
04:22It's like, I just don't know that that's, it's not ideal.
04:26I get it.
04:27It's not ideal.
04:28But I just don't know that it's that detrimental to the players, to a season, to a game,
04:35to the ability to put your best product on the field.
04:38I just don't know that I buy that.
04:40Yeah.
04:41Well, we'll see what it looks like.
04:42I think I'm certain there will be a lot of Texans fans, those traveling Texans.
04:47They'll make their way over there.
04:49I'm sure Larry's ass will be out there.
04:51And it'll be a fun trip.
04:52And that's a big game.
04:54That's a really big game.
04:56That's a team that won 13 games last year, was a three-seed in the AFC that a lot of
05:00people have.
05:01And that's one of their, that's one of Jacksonville's home games, right?
05:04Yeah.
05:04Yeah, they play, yeah, as you said, they play the Eagles.
05:06Okay, that's their deal.
05:07Makes sense, yeah.
05:07Eagles and Eagles the week before.
05:10Tough game there.
05:11And then they play the Texans.
05:12As they all get the Texans in the comenical accreditation measurements.
