00:00Spread lines get ready to go here and here we are. Look at this. It's a Wednesday. We got NBA
00:05action.
00:06Only one game on the docket tonight. It's going to come up today at 8 p.m. Eastern.
00:09So why don't we go there? It's the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons from Motown in a series, Joe.
00:15Tied 2-2. Line opened up at 3.5. Most outlets are sitting at between 3.5 and now some
00:214 starting to break through.
00:23The total in this game, which opened up at 2.11.5. Now we're sitting mostly at 2.12.5
00:28across the board.
00:29The best of three. Pistons have home court advantage. Holding home court. The key ingredient here, Joe.
00:35But could we see an upset today with the Cavaliers riding a hot streak? Let's see what happens, Joe.
00:41Cavaliers, Pistons. Give me a spread line tonight.
00:44Well, they'd have to, you know, break one of their own streaks, Donnie, if the Cavs are going to do
00:48that.
00:49Because they have not won a game in the playoffs on the road. 0-5 so far.
00:54So they're going to have to do something different here if they're going to win a game.
00:59And the all-important Game 5, Donnie. But I have said this for a while.
01:04The Cleveland Cavaliers' offensive ceiling is a million miles above what Detroit is.
01:11All right? Anybody expecting Karis LeVert to drop another 20-plus points in a game?
01:16Yeah, no.
01:17We know it's Cade Cunningham or bust for the Pistons.
01:20And that's a very risky proposition when you're playing the same team, Donnie, in a seven-game series.
01:28There's not a lot of tricks you can pull out of the bag here to fake them out.
01:33So it doesn't surprise me that the whole world is on Detroit here.
01:37Because all we keep seeing is tickets and money coming Detroit's way right now.
01:42This thing is even at 4-1â2 in some spots after it opened at 3-1â2.
01:47I don't know that the total is going to do a whole lot of moving.
01:50Because I think if people believe Detroit's going to win this, I think they believe the under.
01:54But if the Cavs win this, I believe that's correlated to the over.
01:58So pick your streak.
02:00Is it the home teams keep winning?
02:01Or do the Cavs finally have an opportunity and put it together on the road to take a 3-2
02:07lead?
02:07Joe, you know what we love in sports?
02:09Anonymous sources.
02:10Who's actually talking?
02:11Why?
02:12Yahoo Sports with a tweet.
02:13In Anonymous, Lakers locker room source said, quote,
02:16We just don't have enough good players, end quote.
02:19You think?
02:21Who said that?
02:22Luka?
02:23Was that Luka?
02:26Like, these guys, I don't have enough good players.
02:28Like, I have to play every game.
02:30This is absurd.
02:32Where's my beer?
02:33This is ridiculous.
02:35We want the anonymous source to be like, you know what?
02:37LeBron just doesn't play hard anymore.
02:40Like, we want the salacious stuff.
02:41Not something that we can say to ourselves.
02:43You got to be in the locker room to actually watch the Lakers and figure that out?
02:46Yeah.
02:47Congratulations.
02:48Look, we can't get enough of this Portland Trailblazers situation.
02:51Why?
02:52Because the owner seems like he's trying to sabotage some things.
02:55So how about this?
02:56This new Blazers owner, Tom Dundon, is reportedly ruthless and will not hesitate to move the franchise to Nashville, Austin,
03:04or Kalamazoo.
03:06Why are you going to Kalamazoo?
03:09Michigan, like, so he just loves Portland.
03:11I want to move it.
03:12Michigan?
03:13I can tell you this, Donnie.
03:15I mean, he would move it if he thought he could make him money.
03:18He won't share any of that money.
03:20But he would move it if he thought it was profitable for him because he appears to be that kind
03:24of guy.
03:26Yep.
03:26By the way, Portland is a small market.
03:28And I guess every, like, the NFL, Major League Baseball, NBA, seems like you are jockeying for position to get
03:35yourself into Nashville.
03:36And if an owner feels, I can pick up and leave.
03:39The one thing we know, Joe, the minute a professional franchise, you see me back in the day, like, hey,
03:42nobody wants you and you're just going to go out of business.
03:45And NBA team goes, we want to move.
03:46And Nashville's like, we'll pay everything.
03:48You will make tons more money.
03:51Just come here.
03:52Owners are going to start to be owners.
03:53But, hmm, maybe I should go there at this point.
03:55Portland's got a long, rich tradition of NBA action.
03:58They love their team.
03:59But he's saying, I don't care how much love you got.
04:01I'm going where the money is.
04:02And maybe that means a move.
04:04Sham Sharani, how about this move for the NBA?
04:07Correct me if I'm wrong, Joe, here, or have you heard this story before?
04:11The NBA concluded its own investigation into the Milwaukee Bucks over the shutdown and health of Giannis Antetokounmpo late in
04:17the season is determined.
04:18And no further actions required here.
04:20Hmm.
04:21Surprise.
04:22Well, he's not going to be a member of the Bucks much longer, is he?
04:25So, yeah, water under the bridge here at that point.
04:28Let him be somebody else's problem, which is coming, Donnie.
04:32T-Wolves spurs last night.
04:34Now, go back to Monday night.
04:36I'm like, you know what?
04:37I'm going to take 10 and a half points with the Lakers.
04:39Bam!
04:39Give me that cover.
04:40Last night, I'm like, you know what?
04:41I'm going to lay 10 and a half with the Spurs.
04:43Bam!
04:44Give me that cover.
04:45126-97.
04:46No suspension for Wemby.
04:4827-17 later, they blow the Timberwolves out, Joe.
04:54Yeah, I mean, really, from the opening tip, they controlled everything.
04:56Although, you know, I give Minnesota credit.
04:58They erased the halftime deficit early in the third.
05:02But then, you know, Dylan Harper is becoming an absolute nightmare for teams here.
05:09He's really starting to come into his own.
05:11And the hype around him coming out of college and Rutgers, if you remember, was he hurt?
05:16Was he going to play?
05:16Was it not?
05:17Him and Ace Bailey.
05:18You know, it's amazing if they would have played at Rutgers, they didn't win a national championship.
05:22Because this kid is out of control.
05:25And you got to love it.
05:26And they're going to be like that for a while, San Antonio, Donnie, with how young this team really is.
05:31Joe, Ludacris once said, throw them bows.
05:35That's exactly what Wemby did.
05:36Got himself ejected.
05:37But played last night.
05:38Here's Wemby talking about, not talking about, I should say, throwing them bows.
05:43Victor, after having time to reflect, is there, would you have done things differently?
05:48Did you have any regrets about the elbow?
05:52Just reflecting on, after having time to reflect.
05:57I mean, it was two games ago.
05:59It's the playoffs.
06:01I'm focused.
06:02I was focused on the game today.
06:04And now I'm focusing on the game in Minnesota in three days.
06:08It's a playoff.
06:09We got to move on.
06:11And I got to care about my team.
06:14Yeah, just keep it simple.
06:15Hey, I threw an elbow.
06:16Lost my core a little bit.
06:17Got ejected from the game.
06:18Hurt my team.
06:19Came back.
06:20Wanted to help my team.
06:20It's easy.
06:21And by the way, helping your team last night, Joe.
06:23San Antonio won the first quarter, the second quarter, the third quarter, and the fourth quarter.
06:29Domination by the Spurs last night.
06:31And loved cruising into a nice minus 10.5 victory, Joe.
06:34How about that?
06:35Yeah, no, I mean, listen.
06:37They were 10-point, double-digit favorites for a week.
06:40When did he say the next game is?
06:41How long?
06:43Really waiting a week?
06:44Taking the days off?
06:46Look at that.
06:47Let it simmer at this point right now.
06:49Those Spurs could be facing OKC sooner than later.
06:53How about the NHL?
06:54What happened last night?
06:55Big win for those Buffalo Sabres.
06:58That much more.
06:59Coming up next in the early line.
07:00Early line on a Wednesday.
07:01It's how we do business here.
07:03Guests, fun, absolutely.
07:05Hour number two, best bets.
07:06Yeah, they're on the way.
07:07It's Donnie Wrightside, Joe Ranieri.
07:08Kevin Walsh joins us here on a Wednesday.
07:11A lot of hot topics across the board in the NBA.
07:15Time to get after it, K-Dub.
07:16How do we feel today?
07:17Feel good.
07:18Feel excited.
07:19It's a Wednesday.
07:19So we're pushing towards that weekend.
07:22And we're ready to rock.
07:24We'll get to the Spurs last night.
07:25Easy victory over the Timberwolves last night.
07:27Wemby comes back with a big performance.
07:30But big news dropping in the NBA yesterday.
07:32Darryl Morey out as president of basketball operations in the city of Philadelphia.
07:37Sometimes, Kevin, owners pull the strings that talk about, hey, look, I got to stay under this cap.
07:43You got to take the shrapnel here.
07:44But when there's blood in the water and you get embarrassed in a series against the Knicks,
07:48which means your home fans didn't even feel like showing up, things have to change.
07:53So let me ask you this question to start.
07:55Did you feel that the change should have been Darryl Morey, should have been Nick Nurse,
07:59should have been both, and also what to do with the Philadelphia 76ers now?
08:03Yeah, I think it's an odd one, right?
08:08Darryl Morey being fired somehow feels more about Jared McCain than maybe anything else.
08:15Like, ultimately, was the Sixers' season a failure?
08:18They won a playoff series against Boston.
08:21I know they were embarrassed by the Knicks.
08:23I'm not trying to act like they weren't.
08:25I bet Philly before the year to win the conference, I thought they had that type of ceiling.
08:29I think they flashed that level of ceiling.
08:34Here's what I don't understand.
08:36I don't understand where you watch the year play out and think only Morey should be gone.
08:42If you think neither should be gone, I get that.
08:45If you think both should be gone, I get that.
08:47But, again, it's not like Nick Nurse was using Jared McCain in a fashion that Morey was crazy to trade
08:55him, right?
08:56Like, McCain wasn't really doing much for the Sixers this season.
09:00Now, again, the move was obviously still ridiculous.
09:02But also, like, are we really making all these decisions based on Jared McCain?
09:07Like, is that what's going on here?
09:09So, like, is he getting â like, what's interesting is did Morey get fired for a Paul George trade and
09:15a Joel Embiid trade that this franchise will still be stuck with for multiple seasons?
09:20Because then, Donnie, to your final question of, like, what's next for the Sixers, nothing.
09:24It sounds like what's next for the Sixers then is we kept Nick Nurse because he has to still coach
09:29this exact group because we're stuck with this exact group.
09:33Yeah, well, I mean, it doesn't help that McCain's hitting, what, 54% in the playoffs or three-point branch.
09:40I mean, yeah, right?
09:41He must have been ice cold against Phoenix.
09:44Ice cold against Phoenix.
09:46That's crazy when you think about it.
09:49Unreal.
09:50What did you think about last night?
09:52Fantastic bounce back.
09:54That's what San Antonio does.
09:56Now heading back to Minnesota.
09:58Does it end in six?
09:59Do you think it goes seven?
10:01Minnesota's kind of been hard to get a real great vibe on in this series because I'm not giving them
10:08a pass.
10:10But it doesn't feel like they're completely locked into these games they lose.
10:14Like, for some reason, they seem to be like, whatever, we'll do it in seven.
10:19Like, we're going to win at home, obviously.
10:22And I don't know why they think that.
10:24Like, it's not â it doesn't look like they're the better team.
10:28So, I don't know.
10:30That's why I think they've been getting blown out in some of these games, right?
10:32Again, I'm not saying that, oh, if they gave it their best, that they would be winning all these games.
10:37No, I just â I think they let go of the rope a little bit quicker than most teams would
10:43in this spot here
10:44because that doesn't feel like that should have been a 29-point San Antonio Spur victory, right?
10:51Like, all starters were out there, you know, middle fourth quarter, and yet it just kind of went as it
10:59came.
11:00I think if you're the Spurs, though, this is similar to what I talked about with Detroit and Cleveland.
11:03It didn't work out for Detroit.
11:04They didn't finish the series quick enough.
11:06Like, I don't â it doesn't matter for Minnesota that the series is long.
11:10They're not beating Oklahoma City.
11:12It doesn't matter.
11:13For the Spurs, it does matter because maybe you can do it.
11:16You had their number during the regular season.
11:18You have to finish this thing in six.
11:20You have to.
11:22Now, if we get the more â some off-season pressing topics, and again, the 76ers letting go of Daryl
11:27Morey,
11:28maybe more of an indication â I don't really think it was the McCain thing because he was probably told
11:31to do that
11:32because they don't want to pay the luxury tax, which is ridiculous.
11:34But at the same time, that Joel Embiid extension before you needed to give the extension now looks like a
11:39disaster.
11:40That's what gets people in trouble.
11:42But let me talk about this, Kevin, from the Sixers over to the Los Angeles Lakers.
11:46And we understand â and with the funny topic we talked about this morning,
11:49anonymous source inside the Lakers locker room, we don't have enough to compete.
11:52Hello?
11:53I mean, come on now.
11:54Whoever that anonymous source was.
11:55But Rob Palenka goes, we want J.J. Redick â or, excuse me, we want J.J. Redick and Austin
12:00Reeves
12:01and also LeBron to come back here and sort of run it back.
12:04I know he has to say that, and it's like, hey, Austin Reeves is a bargain.
12:07He's not going to be a bargain anymore.
12:09Five for 240 is on the table for him to stay with the Lakers.
12:12But they can't just â there's no way in that city you can just run it back here
12:18because there's no real room to make adjustments if you're paying LeBron again
12:21and also Austin Reeves getting that max contract.
12:24Donnie, they don't make real decisions, that front office.
12:27Yeah.
12:28Okay?
12:28They were the worst franchise in basketball for a half decade before LeBron showed up.
12:32That's why LeBron fans, like myself, say LeBron saved them because it's what really happened.
12:38They were awful.
12:39They couldn't get free agent meetings.
12:41LaMarcus Aldridge was, hey, do you want to come in and have a meeting?
12:45And LaMarcus Aldridge, like, no, I'm not coming Los Angeles Lakers to have a meeting.
12:50So LeBron showed up, and he showed up on his own accord.
12:52Okay?
12:53He didn't show up because of Rob Palenka wowing him.
12:56He wanted to be in Los Angeles and win in Los Angeles.
13:00And LeBron gets the credit for Anthony Davis showing up, right?
13:02All these things I have to listen to LeBron get credit for, okay,
13:05that means he gets credit for Anthony Davis showing up.
13:07And then, everyone says LeBron made the Russell Westbrook move.
13:12Okay?
13:12So they, again, made no decisions.
13:13And the Luka thing was gifted to them, right?
13:17It was put in their lap.
13:19So, Donnie, they do want to run it back because they don't do anything else.
13:24It's why, like, the idea of trading Austin Reeves isn't some, oh, you guys hate Austin Reeves.
13:33No, that's smart business because now you have to pay him max money that you probably shouldn't be paying him
13:40when you could have got an excellent return for Austin Reeves in the offseason and fit your basketball team together
13:48better.
13:50Everyone's so worried about the LeBron retirement plan.
13:53There are some people that think LeBron's going to play another two years.
13:57That means LeBron and Luka are going to play side-by-side for four years, and the whole time the
14:04Lakers front office is going to be thinking,
14:06man, we got to get ready for the future.
14:08The Lakers keep bragging about cap space.
14:10You tell me the last time somebody hit free agency in this league.
14:12I haven't seen it.
14:14Yeah, exactly.
14:15Exactly.
14:16Get ready to pay up, L.A. fans.
14:17Those courtside seats only getting higher.
14:20Catch Kevin on Game Time Procisions tonight.
14:226 a.m. Eastern right here on the Sports Grid Network.
14:25Boom.
14:32That's what we do here on the Sports Grid Network.
14:34We ask the public today, Joe, will LeBron James retire before the start of next season here?
14:41An astounding 72%, Joe, said no.
14:46How about that?
14:48That is crazy.
14:49And I think also, Donnie, I think we just broke a record for the amount of people who actually voted
14:54on this poll.
14:56So who knew LeBron?
14:58Yeah, a lot of LeBron fans watching and are interested.
15:02I tend to agree, Donnie.
15:06I don't know that retirement is coming before the season starts.
15:09I do think all of it depends on who he's.
15:14What uniform is he wearing?
15:15Is he back with the Lakers?
15:17Is he trying to win a championship?
15:21Or is he just trying to get one final check?
15:24Lots still to be determined there with him.
15:27Still tabulating results here, but heavy in the favor of LeBron James.
15:31Playing next season in the NBA, which I do agree with, Joe.
15:34But sometimes you got to give the people exactly what they want.
15:37Winners on Monday.
15:38Winners on Tuesday.
15:39Could it be winners on Wednesday as well?
15:41Here's our best time to give out those best picks.
15:44Let's go.
15:45Bye, bye, bye.
15:51Give them what they want, Joe.
15:53We're sweeping the board again.
15:54I know it, so where are we headed tonight?
15:57I'm going to the association, Donnie, and I'm sorry.
16:01When you play a team in a seven-game series, and I know they haven't won a game on the
16:06road yet,
16:07but all of a sudden what happens is that defense that you all of a sudden can't crack,
16:12that seems to give you nothing but fit, all of a sudden is not giving you fits anymore
16:17because, go figure, they figure it out, Donnie.
16:21And I think losing the first two games to go home and figure it out offensively,
16:26which is what the Cavs did with those two wins, I think that carries over into game five.
16:32I'll take the four and a half, Donnie, but I'm also taking the money line here as well.
16:38I think Detroit has one way to score and one way to score only, and if that doesn't happen,
16:45they're not winning this game.
16:47So I think the Cavs are a really good bet.
16:51Nobody wants to bet the Cavs because they haven't won a game on a road, Donnie.
16:54I'll bet the Cavs.
16:56Prediction Markets Edge on the early line.
16:58It's time to begin on a Wednesday here, Joe.
17:01As you know, a different way to invest your money, Donnie.
17:03Right side.
17:04And Joe Renier, we got you for a half hour.
17:06Hot topics?
17:07Absolutely.
17:07I got you covered in the NBA.
17:09We got you covered in the NHL, Major League Baseball, and some WNBA action tonight.
17:14We'd like to bring you the latest news here.
17:16How about this?
17:17Calci co-founder Luana Lopez talking about profiting here on Calci.
17:22Let's go.
17:23One final thing.
17:23We talked about winners and losers, and you mentioned that you guys don't really make
17:29money on who wins and loses, but I want to talk about the winners for a second.
17:35Who are the winners?
17:38I think there's a lot of â we reported this week that the losers vastly outnumber the
17:46winners on the major platforms, but I'm curious about who more about.
17:50Are the winners mostly professional market makers who are doing lots of trading and have
17:56a lot of advantage over everybody else because they see order flow?
17:59Are there other kinds of niche subject matter experts or something who tend to do â give
18:04us some examples of who tends to do really well.
18:07Yeah.
18:08It's actually not what people expect.
18:11It's like these big market makers that are making all this money on Calci.
18:14I think that institutional market makers are actually less than, I think, 7% of all of
18:18our volume now.
18:19Most of it is actually individuals or very, very small funds that's pretty much started
18:24for prediction markets that start trading and making a lot of money.
18:29And it's not about informational advantage.
18:31It's like â it's people that are very good at self-calibrating.
18:34It's similar to the super forecasters.
18:35And we see a lot of individuals making hundreds of thousands of millions of dollars because
18:40they're just better at forecasting the future.
18:44Sounds like handicapping, Joe.
18:46Get an edge on the game.
18:47Use it in the Calci marketplace.
18:49Predict your winners.
18:50I like to see where this is going.
18:52Yeah, I like it.
18:53I mean, it's a shock here.
18:55Buy low, sell high, Donnie.
18:57What a concept here.
18:59But â and the reason this show exists is because being able to use your, you know,
19:05your favorite sports book in conjunction with the prediction markets, it's a heck of a tool
19:11to have, and it's one that they're not going anywhere, Donnie.
19:15So it's time to get very familiar with what the prediction markets are all about.
19:21Let's get into it right away.
19:22The association tonight, 8 p.m., Cavaliers versus the Pistons on the Calci marketplace.
19:27Volume currently now, $930,000.
19:31Detroit trading as the favorite with a 61% chance to win outright against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
19:37The yes contract, if you feel Detroit takes care of business tonight, $100 investment pays
19:42back â
19:43Donnie, it's very difficult not to bet on the team with the higher offensive ceiling.
19:48You need to score.
19:50And right now, we're seeing that maybe Duncan Robinson also may be doubtful tonight for Detroit.
19:56That's a big three-point perimeter threat for them.
19:59If he's not going, I'm not expecting Karis LeVert to drop 24 points again.
20:05So it's going to come down to what?
20:06Cade Cunningham or bust?
20:08Too many weapons.
20:10Playing better now with the Cavs.
20:12I think they finally get their first road win of the postseason, and it's going to be a big one
20:18here tonight in Game 5.
20:20Yeah, player props, by the way, also available on these predictive markets.
20:24Talked last time these two teams played.
20:26Could James Harden get to the 20-point plateau?
20:27He did last game.
20:28And if you feel he can do it again, Joe, 20-plus points, $100 investment pays back $209-plus money
20:35on that investment if he can get the job done.
20:37Pivotal game.
20:38Those two teams tangle tonight.
20:40Let's get busy, people.
20:41More hot topics on the prediction markets.
20:43We got you covered.
20:44Axios sent out a tweet here, Joe, exclusive.
20:47The chief U.S. regulator of prediction markets says we'll treat them as financial products separate from sports gambling, arguing
20:55that most people aren't using prediction markets, Joe, for, quote, entertainment.
21:02Yeah, well, if they're using predictive markets for investments, then okay.
21:09Again, this is everything we keep reading and hearing, Donnie, is all about it.
21:15You're not going to, you know, file law.
21:18You're not going to lawsuit them out of business.
21:21That's not going to happen here, which is why I think you're starting to see a turnaround with some of
21:26the other big sports books companies now shifting gears and creating their own products here.
21:32So lots still to be determined, but it's looking, the future of prediction markets is looking pretty good.
21:39Absolutely.
21:39And by the way, we asked you the question on the early line, LeBron James, will he retire?
21:43Won't he retire before next season?
21:45How about this?
21:46Polly Market.
21:47You're asking that same question, Joe.
21:48Will LeBron James retire before next season?
21:5214% chance, Joe.
21:55And I'm with it.
21:56He's not retiring.
21:57He's going to play again next year, no doubt in my mind.
22:00How about yours?
22:01Right.
22:02So, I mean, the market is, it's not will he retire.
22:05It's will he, you know, make a clean retirement decision before the season starts, right?
22:12And that's a big distinction, Donnie.
22:14So, we already know LeBron has said publicly undecided about what he wants to do.
22:20He said he needs time with the family and doesn't know about the future and yada yada.
22:25But, I mean, the reality is he's about to become a free, you know, a free agent, which you almost
22:31never see here.
22:33I think the market, I would lean no here before next season because I do think, and look at the
22:41price of this, Donnie.
22:42Is it not crazy?
22:44I mean, that's, the market is telling you that's what most people think.
22:47But, my goodness, how do you not take a stab with the yes?
22:51I mean, at this price, it's a lottery ticket.
22:54Is it not, Donnie?
22:56At that price, if there's any, if there's any headlines that says, oh, boy, LeBron is, he's thinking about opening
23:03up a business or he's looking to the,
23:05then that's going to go through the roof whether it happens or doesn't happen.
23:09Well, the NBA makes the phone call.
23:11Hey, Vegas is open.
23:12You want in now?
23:13You can't play and become an investor in a new franchise.
23:15Got to be yours done here.
23:16Some things can happen in the offseason and some crazy things at that.
23:20You want another lottery ticket?
23:21How about this?
23:22Who's going to win this series?
23:23Spurs or Timberwolves?
23:24Spurs just clapped the Timberwolves last night to take a 3-2 series lead.
23:28But we still have game six, Joe, in Minnesota.
23:30If you feel the Wolves can come back in this series, they're currently trading at 10 cents,
23:34which means $100 investment currently paying back $9.73 on Polymarket.
23:39And once again, they don't have to win this series.
23:41They win game number six.
23:43The Wolves price is not going to be 10 cents to win this series when it's an all-or-nothing
23:47game seven here, Joe.
23:49Spurs, Timberwolves, 91% chance they're saying that the Spurs get the job done.
23:54Yeah, and this is one of those correlation markets, right?
23:57Because if you think this is going seven games, then not only in the sportsbook,
24:03Marga Donnie, are you going ahead and, hey, I'll take the points.
24:06Maybe I forget the points.
24:08I'm going to lay the money line on Minnesota, right?
24:11I'll take that plus money.
24:12But at the same time, you know, game seven, I'm going to go ahead into this series market, Donnie,
24:19and I am taking Minnesota because if there is a game seven, the market has to reprice.
24:25And that is how you can buy low and sell high in 24 hours.
24:30Get it while it's hot right now.
24:32Also, the Cavaliers and the Pistons even up.
24:35Game five tonight, home court advantage to the Pistons here, and the Cavaliers are in town.
24:39If you feel that the Cavaliers, Joe, can actually win this series,
24:44it's currently trading at a 43% chance, almost 50-50 at this point.
24:48Winner of tonight's game is going to go a long way to determine that, Joe.
24:52And we already know which side you like in this basketball game.
24:55So in the prediction markets, which way should we go?
24:58Well, history tells us, Donnie, right?
25:01Game five winner in a series here like this when it's tied,
25:04usually it works to your favor of them ultimately winning the series.
25:10So yes, Donnie, I'm correlated.
25:12If you like Detroit tonight, bet Detroit in the market.
25:17If you like the Cavs, bet them now here.
25:21And by the way, whoever you think does, look to the Eastern Conference finals market
25:26because the Knicks are such a ridiculous favorite right now.
25:30One of these two teams is going to have a ton of value.
25:34Buying high, buying low is what Joe's always talking about here.
25:37On May the 7th at 10 p.m., the Cavaliers were 21% to win this series.
25:43Fast forward just a couple days now as we're talking about it right now,
25:46it's 43% for the Cavaliers to win this series.
25:49The Cavs win this game tonight, that's going to skyrocket
25:53because that puts home court advantage with a chance to clinch for them
25:56at home in game number six.
25:57Obviously, if the Pistons win tonight, take a 3-2 series lead,
26:00they will then be the favorites here.
26:03And once again, you don't have to actually realize this
26:06all the way through to game number seven or a series victory.
26:08You can profit just by picking the winner tonight in the series
26:11with a chance to opt out and put cash in your pocket as a profitable stake here.
26:16That's what we're talking about, people, on these prediction markets here.
26:19Hopefully, you had a lot more fun today, but guess what?
26:22Tomorrow is a Thursday.
26:23We'll be back once again with prediction markets edge on the early line.
26:27Donnie Wright said Joe Ranieri.
26:28Enjoy the rest of your day.
26:30We'll see you tomorrow.
