01:24Marine safety and security services expert Alvin Douglas and a team of divers combed the area on
01:32Tuesday morning without success.
01:34Well, I got a call from the police service approximately 8.30 or so, asking for assistance
01:44and on a search and recovery. At that time, I didn't have the details. I got the details and it
01:51came up.
01:52So we mobilized a team of rescue divers and we're up here trying to make sure that we can assist
01:59us as best as we can.
02:00What do you feel about the situation? Once again, another search?
02:06Yeah, you know, we are surrounded by waters and most of the villages are on the coastline.
02:13So, again, it's inevitable that these kind of things are going to happen.
02:20On the Atlantic side of the island is where the island is exposed.
02:26It's very, very difficult to conduct a search and rescue in this kind of a condition.
02:31Behind me located is the house where two-year-old Angelo Tobias allegedly walked from straight into the sea in
02:40Goodwood, Tobago.
02:41So, villagers are now questioning this.
02:44The Victim and Support and Witness Support Unit has been engaged to provide support to the family,
02:52while the Child Protection Unit has also been notified.
02:56Assistant Secretary, Community Development and Social Protection, Akeel Franklin, spoke with the media.
03:03Can we just see us supporting the family in such a time as this?
03:10I have spoken to a few members of the family, and they are all just at this time quite emotional.
03:18I just offered my support, more or less.
03:21That's all I'm here for, to offer support, allowing them to know that the Executive Council stands with them even
03:28through this time.
