00:05I always loved princesses. I loved watching the movies about them. I love
00:11dressing up as them. My job is to make people's dreams come true. I own the Los
00:17Angeles Princess Company. These are all my costumes. These are all the wigs. I
00:23have a section for each character and then each of them has their own makeup
00:28which is really important to me because nobody naturally looks like all these
00:32characters. You kind of have to know how to make yourself look like them a little
00:36bit. I always thought I was going to be a professional actor and I was for a long
00:44time but I quickly found that this was the thing that people were willing to pay
00:49for and I still kind of consider myself a real actor but can't really like go on
00:55auditions all the time anymore or anything like that. My specialty is really the
01:00performing so I always try to really bring the character to life. I used to
01:06think it was really extreme to wear colored contacts for this job but kids
01:11notice everything. This is Cinderella. All right I think we're ready to go.
01:23I need coffee or else I might not make it through the day. I'm not selling myself as a Disney
01:30princess.
01:30Cinderella is in the public domain. Not every other character is but I don't use
01:35their copyrighted names but I play by the rules. Going into my first party.
01:39Hello everyone. Wow that dress is beautiful. Wow I think it's even lovelier than mine.
01:59Rapunzel.
02:03Okay. I probably will have to ask someone to help me. I usually do.
02:11Hi. Hi. Would you do me a big favor and zip me up?
02:14And what? And zip me up? Oh sure. Thank you so much. I just can't do it myself.
02:18Thank you so much. Yeah sure. You're a pro. Hi princess.
02:23Oh my goodness. I'm so happy to see you. But then I didn't care because it was the best day
02:29ever. Yay.
02:36Bye princess.
02:38I am dead tired. Not gonna lie. We went from North Hollywood to Tarzana back to North Hollywood and then
02:48I had two parties in Beverly Hills very close to each other and now we're in Northridge and we are
02:55going to be done for the day after this.
02:56Hi princess Riley. Happy birthday. Mother Gothel was so jealous of my hair that she stole me and put me
03:05in a tower.
03:07I really tried to bring the character to life. With theater it was all about me. Look at me. Look
03:14at me. But with this it's like my job is to bring so much happiness to people.
03:19Oh yay. Can anyone guess how we all lived? Happily ever after. Alright good job.
03:30It's not a job that you do forever but I would really miss this job if one day I couldn't
03:35do it anymore. Bye.
03:37I'm hoping by the time I get there that I will just be tired of it but like I haven't
03:43reached that point yet.
03:46My parties start at $180 an hour but a lot of that money goes back in the business. So this
03:53is not a job you get into if you want to be rich.
03:56I definitely live very humbly but it's worth it. I'd rather just making it by doing something I really love
04:04but definitely it can be a little stressful.
04:07I've been doing this five years already and I know that you know my time is coming up and hopefully
04:13when I reach that age I'll be able to know when it's time to hang up the crown.
