00:00Hey everybody, I'm Matt from Matt's Guitar Shop. Welcome to that magic place we called
00:04The Paradise Forest. This place started maybe eight, nine years ago. The magic story behind
00:10it was that the owner of the place was actually a huge fan of Lenny Kravitz and we managed to
00:16get a vinyl from him signed and that's how we got the place. The story goes on since eight years.
00:22We've been through some magical moments. The concept is to get some relics of music history
00:28and guitars owned by artists and also the premium vintage guitars and custom shop guitars but
00:33we try to sell guitars we love, we try to sell guitars we would play. We are going to show
00:38you
00:38a bit of the highlights of the shop today and you're going to follow us during that journey.
00:43So I have to show you this 1960 Les Paul Sanders. So that's an original burst as we call them.
00:50This
00:50guitar is probably one of the best sounding bursts we have ever had in stock at the shop and we
00:55discovered later that because of those marks and the matching use of the guitar that this guitar
01:01belonged to Gary Richrath the guitar player and insane guitar player from Ariel Speedwagon and that
01:08was his main burst that he used that live head and all the major occasion and studio recordings of the
01:14band. Continuing for this journey with Stars guitar we have an incredible Fender Stratocaster from 1986
01:21which was made by Fender especially for the one and the greatest Jeff Beck. This color called
01:28Graffiti Yellow was custom colored for Jeff to match his outrod and his car. From the 1930s this guitar was
01:35played eight years by Jeff Beck on tour. As you can tell all around the world has been through a
01:41lot of
01:41modifications like the pickups, the bridge, it has the biggest neck ever I've played on the Strat. When you
01:49take the neck off actually it says Jeff Beck's neck. It's also the first or maybe one of the first
01:54roller
01:55bridge ever made on a guitar. This is Paul Kossoff's and Eric Clapton 1955 Les Paul Custom which was played
02:02by Paul Kossoff as his very first serious guitar. So the story is Paul's father David was an actor and
02:10comedian and he was traveling back and forth the US and England and he bought that guitar in the US
02:16and I
02:16think in New York City for Paul to get that very first double pickup Les Paul. Paul was playing a
02:211957
02:22TV Yellow Les Paul Junior at the time and that's the guitar then that he used I think he was
02:27like 15
02:27or 16 years old and then later he traded the guitar with Eric Clapton and you can see a picture
02:33of Eric
02:34Clapton playing that guitar in the Paul Kossoff official gear book. So that's kind of a unique guitar
02:40played by two legends and it plays regularly on stage here in Paris and around the world with the shop.
