00:01Wyatt's the one who asked you all to help. He's one of the good guys.
00:03You're a man of hidden depths, Wyatt.
00:06Tomorrow evening I'm cooking you a meal to say thank you.
00:09My dad gave me a ride to town and told me what you did.
00:11To have you bail my father out with that, it means a lot.
00:15I'll give money by the end of the week.
00:16How are you going to get the $5,000?
00:18I have my wife.
00:19I'll be a bit later tomorrow.
00:20My dad has a big meeting. He wants to speak with me and my brother.
00:47I'll be a bit later.
01:03Constable will be here tomorrow and watch over the road field while I'm away.
01:05It's hard to believe you're leaving.
01:07Hopefully not for long.
01:09I'm not really talking to anyone about the new assignment with anyone but you.
01:13I'm not one for goodbyes.
01:15Will you be able to write?
01:16Pray not.
01:17I'll mostly be far from the telegraph offices and postal stations.
01:21I hope you'll be safe.
01:24This is not a goodbye breakfast.
01:26I will see you before I go.
01:27You can count on it.
01:35Good morning, Reverend.
01:37Michael, Nora.
01:38Good morning.
01:39How's the sermon coming?
01:40Oh, slowly.
01:42I want to talk about Brookfield and what makes it special.
01:45I haven't found the words yet.
01:47I'm sure it will be lovely.
01:49The children and I will be there.
01:51Oh, thank you for that book.
01:53I did not see that ending coming.
01:55Oh, I know.
01:56I never would have thought it was the chimney sweep.
01:58But here we are talking about mystery novels and you're the one solving real crimes.
02:05You're right about Brookfield.
02:06There's no place like it.
02:13Everything looks so good.
02:15It's impossible to choose.
02:19Good morning.
02:20Morning.
02:20I'll have a cherry turnover, Debbie.
02:23I'll have one for Maggie as well, please.
02:26Thank you, Sam.
02:28Actually, I think I'll get the coffee cake, please.
02:31So, no turnover?
02:32No, thank you.
02:33Not today.
02:34But, Sam, you won't turn over.
02:36No, I'll have a coffee cake as well, please.
02:45I'll just get us a table.
02:47Sorry, I'd better get mine to go.
02:49Busy day.
02:57Thank you, Debbie.
02:58See you, Sam.
03:04Okay, what did you do?
03:06I don't know.
03:08But I know I need to find out.
03:10So, you want the cherry turnover, though, right?
03:12You hate coffee cake.
03:13Yes.
03:14Please.
03:15I know he means well, and he's adjusting to his new role, but he seems so different.
03:21I'm sure the sound you fell for is still in there.
03:24I hope so.
03:26But, Nora, he acts like he knows everything.
03:28What I want for breakfast, what the town council should be doing.
03:34Here's me talking about myself and my friends a little sad.
03:37I'm fine.
03:39Okay.
03:41Here is your first aid kit.
03:43Are you and the children often on an adventure?
03:45No.
03:47This is, um, a gift for Michael.
03:52Oh, is our constable often an assignment?
03:56I'm not supposed to say anything.
03:58Of course not.
03:59But if this kit was for our Mountie, and if he were to be sent away for a spell, I
04:05know you'd miss him dearly.
04:07I will, Maggie.
04:09I really will.
04:13I know you and Sam have things to figure out.
04:17But he's still in town.
04:19You get to see him every day.
04:22That's a gift, Maggie.
04:41Good, I caught you.
04:42Good morning.
04:43Need something?
04:44No, just wanted to remind you about our dinner tonight.
04:47Right.
04:48Anything I can bring?
04:49No, you don't need to bring a thing.
04:50It'll be simple.
04:51Nothing special.
04:53Got it.
04:54Nothing special.
05:00Here we go.
05:01Just as we agreed.
05:03And all you have to do is sign it.
05:06Right there.
05:10Trust me, Tom.
05:11You're making the right choice.
05:13These funds are going to set up your family nice and good.
05:16Yeah.
05:21Tess, we're in the middle of a business.
05:22Hey, I'm afraid that's confidential information.
05:24Can't buy something and isn't for sale.
05:26It's my land, Tess, and I'm selling it.
05:28I'm sorry, Tom.
05:28It's not your land anymore.
05:30What's going on?
05:30I just got back from picking this up in Clearwater.
05:33Your payments were late.
05:34I had to foreclose on you.
05:36Is this legitimate?
05:37You've got to read the fine print, Tom.
05:39We have a clause in our contract that states I can foreclose on you if your payments are late.
05:43That's what I've had to do.
05:44You're going to stew my ranch, my home.
05:46What are you up to, Mrs. Stewart?
05:47I got to take the land, but I'm not going to touch your house.
05:51I'm supposed to thank you for that, Tess?
05:53Not asking for thanks.
05:55It's not what I wanted, Tom.
06:02Well, that was a colossal waste of my time.
06:06Oh, hi, Tess.
06:11You changed.
06:13Not a compliment.
06:15You're starting to look like that man in there.
06:18Watch yourself.
06:28Hi.
06:29Hey.
06:30I, uh, got you this.
06:32Thought it might come in handy.
06:35That's very thoughtful.
06:37Oh.
06:39I have been known to suffer an injury every now and then.
06:46We really are packing up.
06:47Just a few things that aren't too important to leave behind.
06:52Like this.
06:53Of all?
06:54That's nice.
06:56Will you come say goodbye to the children?
06:58I'm trying not to make this a big farewell.
07:01Hoping they'll be back before they notice I'm gone.
07:03They'll notice.
07:05We'll miss you.
07:07I'll miss you all.
07:11I've moved around a lot.
07:13But this is the first time I want to hold on to what I'm leaving behind.
07:19This drawing will help.
07:21When I look at it, it'll remind me of the children.
07:26End of view.
07:30All right.
07:32Thyme, paprika, curry, rosemary, and cinnamon.
07:37You need all these?
07:38No, you won't fancy.
07:39You need lots of flavors.
07:41So when you cook a roast, Ronnie, you use all these seasonings?
07:45Me?
07:45No, no, no.
07:46We have a chef at the Royal Brokefield.
07:48Although I assume this is how she makes her roasts.
07:51Oh, uh, dessert.
07:54Why don't you stop by my shop before heading back to the ranch?
07:57Do you have a recipe you'd like to share?
07:59Not exactly a recipe.
08:08Is it true?
08:11If you're asking, am I foreclosing on the clay ranch, then yes, it's true.
08:22And you expect me to keep working for you?
08:25I understand that you're upset.
08:28I'm not just upset, Tess.
08:32I quit.
08:40I would rather that you didn't.
08:46But it's a free country.
09:06I broke a glass vial earlier.
09:09It's hard to focus.
09:11I'm sure Sam feels the same way.
09:12Does he?
09:13He hasn't spoken to me since this morning.
09:16Maybe he doesn't know what to say.
09:19I realize he's going through a lot of change.
09:21He's adjusting to this new role.
09:24Maybe I've been too hard on him.
09:29I just want it to work.
09:31Well, this morning after you left,
09:34Sam said he knew that he messed up.
09:35He just isn't sure how, and
09:38he wants to make it up to you.
09:40He said that.
09:47Thank you, Mom.
09:54Okay, what's going on?
10:00Okay, buddy-to-buddy, real talk.
10:03Do I seem different to you?
10:05Well, you mean the suits?
10:07No.
10:08Maybe.
10:09Just since I started at the hotel, have I changed?
10:12Yes.
10:14For better or for worse?
10:17Well, let's just say I miss the old Sam.
10:21What's different about me?
10:24Kind of everything.
10:26Look, where is this coming from?
10:28Maggie's upset with me.
10:29Tess just told me she didn't even recognize me.
10:30I guess she likes the old Sam better, too.
10:33Old Sam knew Sam.
10:34You're still someone I'm proud to call my friend.
10:38Thanks.
10:43You know, I miss this.
10:45You and me.
10:46Mm-hmm.
10:49Would you mind if I gave
10:50Ronnie the owner's suite back?
10:53Maybe
10:53move back in with you?
10:56Would I mind?
11:00Joe?
11:02Are you crying?
11:03Of course not.
11:05I'm just really, really happy.
11:27Anna?
11:32Sorry, things just got away from me.
11:34Let me.
11:45Please, sit.
11:50Sorry, I just thought this was a simple dinner.
11:54That's just a roast and some vegetables.
11:56I tried to make a souffle earlier, but that's...
11:59other, uh, plate.
12:02Half of that didn't turn out.
12:04You cooked a night dress?
12:06No, I changed.
12:08I was packing for New York,
12:09so I thought I would try on a few things,
12:11and I, uh, just ended up in this.
12:17Please, start.
12:22Great.
12:24Great.
12:31Maggie.
12:32Thanks, Joe.
12:35I know you haven't been sleeping with Ronnie talking.
12:37True, true, yeah.
12:38Not much sleep.
12:39Well, this tea really helped Debbie when she couldn't sleep.
12:42Oh, that's very kind of you, but unnecessary.
12:46Are you sure you're feeling okay?
12:49Ron is moving out.
12:51Back to the hotel.
12:52And Sam?
12:53He's moving back in with me.
12:54So you see, all is right in the world.
12:57Wait, Sam really gave Ronnie back the suite.
12:59He's going to, yeah.
13:01He is the best friend anyone could ever have.
13:03But no one knows that better than you, right?
13:06Right.
13:10I'm grateful for the new hat that Miss Noor knit for me.
13:19What are you grateful for, Miss Noor?
13:24I'm grateful for the people who have shaped my life.
13:28All of you who are here now.
13:30Those who have left.
13:32Or might be leaving.
13:37Something came to me today.
13:40What if we all made a mural together?
13:43We could each draw something that brings us comfort
13:47or reminds us where we came from
13:48or who we are.
13:51What do you think?
13:53I love that.
13:54Me too.
13:55Can I draw a baseball?
13:56You could draw whatever means something to you.
13:58I know.
14:00I think I might draw a chemistry set.
14:09You know, if you think of it like jerky,
14:11it's not that bad.
14:16I'll be right back.
14:30Dig in.
14:31My backup plan from Debbie's.
14:34Oh, thank goodness.
14:38I can't be good at everything.
14:40You're a fantastic designer and good rancher.
14:45Good rancher?
14:47I don't want to go to your head.
14:49Cooking, uh, not so much.
14:57Is that one of your designs?
14:58It is.
15:00Mm-hmm.
15:02You're going to turn some heads in New York.
15:06Not just because of the dress.
15:09You look beautiful, Anna.
15:14Thanks for coming to dinner.
15:19You know, it's getting late, so...
15:22Um, you need me to help you clean up?
15:24Oh, no.
15:26Well, I should get back to the barn.
15:29Got some chores to finish?
15:30Oh, wait.
15:33Barely touched.
15:35Your sandwich, at least.
15:37Take it to go.
15:39Okay.
15:40Thanks.
15:40You don't mind?
15:41No.
15:41I will.
15:50Hannah.
15:51Is there something else you wanted to talk about?
15:55No.
15:57Okay.
15:58Thanks for everything.
16:11Oh, Ronnie.
16:12How are you this fine evening?
16:13Huh.
16:14Joe, you...
16:15You seem like you're in a good mood.
16:17I am.
16:17I am indeed.
16:19Uh, I guess you, uh...
16:21I guess you don't know yet.
16:23What's that?
16:25Look, I'm sorry, buddy, but I'm, uh...
16:27I'm moving back into the room, Brookfield.
16:30Right.
16:31Well, Sam is, uh, moving back in with you.
16:35Yeah.
16:36Well, I know how...
16:37I know how happy that makes you.
16:39And that, in turn, makes me very happy.
16:45Joe, you are a good man.
16:47You really are.
17:13I could do a chemistry set or a microscope.
17:16And I could do music notes.
17:18Maybe a guitar.
17:20It's nice that you have so many things you love.
17:22You'll think of the right thing.
17:23Huh.
17:29My mom's favorite flowers were wildflowers, because they bloom on their own.
17:33It's gonna look really good, won't it, Miss Dara?
17:36Indeed it will.
17:38I'm telling you, she up and stabbed me in the back.
17:40This is a woman I called friend for 30 years!
17:43Why would Tess do a thing like that?
17:45I don't know.
17:47The stewards are always about growing their ranch.
17:49When it comes to land, you can't trust them.
17:51You're not even a clay ranch anymore.
17:53Just a piece of the ever-growing steward ranch.
17:56What's going on?
17:58What are you saying, Tom?
18:00What am I saying?
18:01I'm saying they're Tess Stewart,
18:03while pretending to help a fellow rancher
18:04use some legal mumbo-jumbo to steal my land!
18:07It's true.
18:08Hard to believe, but it seems that's what you did.
18:12What was you talking about?
18:14Miss Dara.
18:15She is every bit as much a predator
18:17as any wolf that ever took our cattle.
18:26What happened?
18:30Hammer and I got in a disagreement.
18:32Are you okay?
18:35Yep, I'm fine.
18:36You sure about that? Let me see.
18:39That looks bad.
18:40I barely hit it.
18:42It could be broken. Let me help you.
18:44Come on.
19:09You seem out of sorts.
19:12I just have a little tolerance for seeing people
19:13get taken advantage of.
19:17Tess were closed on Tom's ranch.
19:19What?
19:20How can she do that?
19:22Apparently they had a contract,
19:23but it's wrong in every way.
19:28You seem pretty adamant about that.
19:30It's too close to home.
19:34My dad lost our ranch.
19:35How?
19:37Gambling.
19:38Bets were too high.
19:39Is that why you left for the rodeo?
19:42Didn't have a home.
19:43Mom, sister, brother needed help.
19:46I was old enough to work,
19:47so the rodeo threw me in the ring with a bull.
19:50You did that to protect your family.
19:52Didn't last long, though.
19:54My dad found out I was sending money.
19:56He, uh, took it.
19:59And what did your mom do?
20:01She stayed.
20:03Gave a bunch of false promises,
20:05but, uh, I saw through it, though.
20:08I'm so sorry.
20:11Why?
20:12You didn't do anything?
20:14You're my friend,
20:15and I look after my friends.
20:18Lawrence isn't good that way.
20:21So are Parker's.
20:23This one, at least.
20:29Now, what is that?
20:31That is me protecting my best foreman.
20:34I'm your only foreman, Anna.
20:38Yes.
20:39Well, you know what I mean.
20:41Now, this is a temporary splint,
20:44so we'll probably want to see Maggie
20:46and make sure it's not broken.
20:49I'm not gonna argue with you on this one.
21:03Ronnie!
21:06I need my partner.
21:07I'm right here, pal.
21:08Life partner.
21:09Like I said, I'm not going anywhere.
21:10I appreciate that,
21:11but I'm talking about Maggie.
21:12I want her to be my wife.
21:15Ronnie,
21:16Ronnie,
21:17I'm gonna propose.
21:19Mister, you have come to the right place.
21:21If anybody knows anything about proposing,
21:23it's this guy.
21:24I can't tell you how many times I've done this.
21:26Come on!
21:32I'm so glad you came over.
21:34Wyatt's getting his hand checked in town,
21:36so I thought I'd drop by.
21:37Is he okay?
21:39Thankfully.
21:42Are you?
21:43Wait.
21:44You're leaving tonight.
21:45I'm on the evening stagecoach.
21:48That's all happening at once, Nora.
21:51Wyatt doesn't know how you feel.
21:53I couldn't say anything.
21:55I keep thinking I'll have the courage,
21:58and then he looks at me,
22:01and I don't.
22:02Well, if you don't say something,
22:04he'll never know how you feel.
22:05That's why I'm doomed to be alone.
22:07Okay.
22:08Let's not go there.
22:10You are taking a train to New York
22:12to premiere your first collection.
22:15You are incredibly brave and talented,
22:17and beyond that,
22:19you are worthy and deserving of love.
22:21Wyatt Parker should be so lucky.
22:25What's quite the pep talk?
22:28I've spent my whole life thinking
22:29that love wasn't in the cards for me.
22:32I know.
22:32I know.
22:35I don't want that to be true anymore.
22:38Good.
22:39So if you are telling me
22:41to be brave and open my heart,
22:43we both need to.
22:45You've got to tell Michael.
22:47There are reasons
22:48that it's unfair for me
22:50to tell him anything right now.
22:51No time like the present.
22:53To confess your feelings
22:54to someone who's leaving?
22:55Technically, I'm the one leaving.
22:57Wait, is Michael?
22:59Miss Nora!
23:00Uh, Charlotte,
23:02I'm in here with Hannah.
23:03Hi, Charlotte.
23:04I heard you're all working on a mural.
23:07I are.
23:09What's wrong, honey?
23:10I don't know what to put on it.
23:12I can't paint it.
23:13I won't be able to see it anyway.
23:15Well,
23:17maybe we can come up
23:18with something together.
23:20Something that's meaningful to you?
23:22No.
23:28No.
23:32No.
23:33No.
23:37What has she got to smile about?
23:39Just smirking away
23:40after destroying a fellow rancher.
23:42It's like she has no soul.
23:43Yeah.
23:44No.
23:54Let's go.
24:14What's that?
24:16That is Charlotte's honorary key to Brookfield.
24:18It's so special.
24:20We're going to place it on the mural.
24:23Okay.
24:29It's perfect.
24:33Oh, I think I'll try a sample of the vanilla, please, and maybe some of the chocolate as well.
24:37What's this for?
24:38Oh, a wedding.
24:42Mmm.
24:43That's quite surprising.
24:44Is that like icing lemon?
24:46Lemon cream.
24:46Ooh.
24:47Although you really cannot beat a chocolate mousse.
24:50Oh.
24:51So smooth.
24:53I'm sorry.
24:53Who's getting married?
24:54Oh, I'm afraid I can't disclose that just yet, Debbie, but I will tell you that you know them, both
24:58of them.
25:00More coffee?
25:01Oh, thank you.
25:03Sam and Maggie?
25:04Yeah.
25:05Now, Sam hasn't popped the question yet, so it's still very hush-hush.
25:08Mom's the word.
25:09Mm-hmm.
25:10Mm-hmm.
25:15Hey.
25:18You lied to me.
25:20I did what I had to do.
25:21You're not a martyr, Tess.
25:23Keep your voice down.
25:24You know, you're just as bad as L&M.
25:26Taking ranches away from this community?
25:29I thought we were on the same side.
25:31We are.
25:32I'm trying to protect this town from large conglomerates.
25:34Oh, yeah?
25:35Well, you weren't buying my bag.
25:36You were buying all of our bags.
25:37What happens to keeping each other in the room?
25:40Joining forces so we can protect the other ranches?
25:42We still can.
25:43I didn't tell you about Eli Hopkins, so you could steal Tom's ranch out from under it.
25:47So you're okay with L&M taking Tom's ranch?
25:50Because that's what was on the table.
25:52That's the reality of it, Wyatt.
25:54Of course I care about this town.
25:57All you care about is growing your ranch.
26:00Congratulations.
26:02You did it.
26:05It could be quite a spectacle.
26:07What do you think about proposing to Maggie with the sweet sounds of a harpist serenading it?
26:10No harpists.
26:12Oh, okay.
26:12Now, I know you're a gold man, but we do have to discuss diamonds at some point.
26:16And trust me, the bigger the better.
26:17Also, how do you feel about swans?
26:18Ronnie, it's not that your elaborate ideas aren't good.
26:22I love swans.
26:25Of all the proposals you've had, how many said yes?
26:28Oh, well, Sam, would I be here with you right now if they did?
26:31No, no, I'd be with sweet Melanie, sailing the River Nile.
26:35I'm sorry, Ronnie.
26:36This isn't going to work.
26:37None of these ideas are Maggie.
26:39Sam, she did date a Maharaja.
26:40Yes, everybody knows she's out of my league, but I know her heart.
26:43I have to listen to it.
26:46I've got to do this on my own.
26:53Swans.
26:57There's room for one more.
27:01You sure you want to associate with me?
27:04I'm the Mountie.
27:06No one associates with me anyway.
27:09Besides, I'd always be proud to sit with Tess Stewart.
27:17All right, then.
27:19You tell me, what have you heard?
27:21Nothing you don't already know.
27:23Seems you're not very popular amongst ranchers.
27:26Doing the right thing doesn't always make you popular.
27:30Protecting this town from the L&M Cattle Company is no small feat.
27:34Why it didn't feel that way.
27:38I, uh, did get some happy news today.
27:45I could use some of that.
27:48A new baby Stewart was born in London today.
27:51From a grandmother.
27:53To a little girl named Tessa.
27:59With a name like that?
28:02She's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
28:09Ah, just who I wanted to see.
28:10Ah, Joshua.
28:11Is everything okay?
28:12Yes, thanks.
28:13I'm speaking to members of the community before my sermon.
28:19How have you done?
28:21Uh, I'm going to break.
28:22Right as cramp.
28:23Ah, I can give you some healing balm.
28:25No, no, it should be okay.
28:27Well, I just hope you'll be fine.
28:30You know, I've been looking for this town to get a community hall.
28:32So, you can take the music so much.
28:36You know, I can tell you.
28:39I do love it.
28:40Oh, you ever considered running for mayor?
28:43Honey, someone else mentioned the idea of town mayor the other day, and I shut it down.
28:47Oh?
28:48I could have been more open-minded.
28:50Humility?
28:51Self-awareness?
28:52That means there's not a new good leader.
28:56Wyatt?
28:58Wyatt, you back?
29:03Wyatt?
29:04It is good.
29:05I couldn't keep working there.
29:07No, no, no.
29:07You did the right thing.
29:09Is everything okay?
29:11Lucy, just quit.
29:14There's got to be something we can do for her.
29:16I'm so sorry, Lucy.
29:24I'm sure we can use an extra hand sometimes.
29:26No, no, that's true.
29:27With you gone, that works out perfectly.
29:29You can take over Hannah's duties.
29:32Okay.
29:33Yeah.
29:35That would be great.
29:38Are you okay with this?
29:45Ranchers help ranchers.
29:47Remember.
29:59Am I interrupting?
30:00No.
30:01Just finishing up.
30:03I brought you something for the road.
30:08What are tired bandits?
30:10Your favorite.
30:13Pretty sure I'd trade these here bandits for another day in Brookfield.
30:19Michael, I know you're leaving, but you were honest with me, so I feel inclined to be honest with you.
30:28Okay.
30:32Growing up, I watched my older sister be estranged from her parents when she got married.
30:40It was so painful.
30:43It was so painful.
30:43I never allowed love into my life.
30:47I've always been careful to keep things on a friendship level.
30:53But in my heart, it's been lonely.
31:00I'm realizing maybe that's not my story anymore.
31:07I'm ready to open my heart and let someone in.
31:17I wish this was the beginning of something new for you and me.
31:26I wish this was the beginning of something new for you and me.
31:26Maybe it still can be.
31:32Just know that our door is open to you whenever you return.
31:37You and Rufus.
31:41Actually, I was kind of hoping you and the children wouldn't mind keeping an eye on a deputy for me.
31:46Well, of course.
31:50We'll happily take great care of Rufus.
31:53Won't we, boy?
32:03Michael, I hope that this is...
32:05I don't know.
32:15Notice anything familiar?
32:16Sam.
32:19Are you going to go with my name?
32:21No.
32:25I, um...
32:29I wanted you to see that I've changed.
32:32Back.
32:35I lost myself, little Maggie.
32:37And I'm sorry.
32:39For not hearing you, for not seeing how I was behaving and...
32:42For not understanding how important the town council is to you.
32:45No, Sam.
32:46I've been thinking about what I said.
32:48You've been trying really hard at this new role,
32:50and I haven't always been fair.
32:53I'm sorry.
32:55I love you.
32:58Maggie, I came here to tell you the exact same thing.
33:01I love you.
33:06Now you have no idea how long I've wanted to say those words.
33:22Maggie Parsons.
33:22Maggie Parsons.
33:24Will you do me the greatest honor of making me the luckiest man on this earth?
33:30Is that a piece of my amethyst from India?
33:32It is.
33:34You're giving my stone back to me.
33:37I'm good for the gold.
33:39But I thought it'd be special if I made you a ring.
33:42As a part of you and a part of me.
33:45As a symbol of our unity.
33:48You truly understand me.
33:50Of course I do.
33:52Maggie, you are my best friend.
33:54And I want to spend the rest of my life finding ways to make you happy.
33:58I'll even become a silent partner in the hotel if you want.
34:01Sam, I want you to be you.
34:02You shouldn't have to compromise who you are or sacrifice yourself for love.
34:07All I wanted to know was that you cared and that you hurt me.
34:11Loud and clear, my love.
34:15Now.
34:19Maggie Parsons.
34:21Will you marry me?
34:23Yes, I'm sure I will marry you.
34:33She said yes!
34:37Three gates!
34:39I did it!
34:39I got my first yes!
34:44Hey, Rufus!
34:45Hi, Rufus!
34:46What are you doing here?
34:49Rufus is going to be staying with us for a while, if that's okay with you.
34:52Can you sleep in our room?
34:54We can discuss that.
34:55We need to have Rufus to the mural.
34:57Maybe with a Mountie hat?
34:58Wait, if Rufus is staying with us, then what about Mountie Fletcher?
35:10You, uh, coming to this room in Fletcher?
35:12I get constable.
35:13I have some things to take care of, Ronnie, but maybe next time.
35:16All right, we'll, uh, see you later.
35:23You're going?
35:24Not today.
35:26Take care, Joe.
35:34Hannah.
35:40You left with us saying bye?
35:43You're busy with Lucy.
35:44I didn't want to interrupt anything.
35:51I brought you something.
35:58Beef jerky.
35:59There's no ham sandwich, but...
36:01Like I said...
36:03Jerky's good in a pinch.
36:15Wyatt, I know it's only a few weeks, but I'm...
36:20I'm really gonna miss.
36:24I'll miss you, too.
36:28Knock them dead, hand alone.
36:45Take care of the ranch.
36:47Take care of the ranch.
36:48Always do.
36:55Hey, go, Rufus.
36:58Oh, I know, Rufus.
37:02I guess we can miss him together.
37:05Yeah, boy.
37:06Miss Nora!
37:07Miss Nora!
37:08Miss Nora, we finished the mural.
37:13Open your eyes.
37:18Do you like it?
37:21I love it.
37:29Your families would be so proud and honored to be represented in such good company.
37:34My papa told me how to play music.
37:36My parents always said the world is full of wonder if you look close enough.
37:41Where did that heart come from?
37:43Dolores made it.
37:44It's famous, Nora.
37:45It represents your heart.
37:47Which is as big as the ocean.
37:50You take care of us.
37:51And give us hope.
37:52You love us.
37:53And you make us a family.
37:55Come here.
38:07I never saw myself as a mother.
38:10But now I can't imagine being anywhere else.
38:14I hope you know how much you all mean to me.
38:17And how loved you are.
38:40Okay.
38:44Welcome.
38:45It was very meaningful to gather with you all here today in prayer and service to this wonderful community.
38:51Since I arrived in Brookfield, I've been lucky to speak to each of you, hearing your stories and dreams that
38:57light up your souls.
38:59I'd like to speak to something that's been reverberating around my conversations the last few days.
39:04And that is the notion of impermanence.
39:08Change is inevitable.
39:12Sometimes we feel we're in control of our life's path.
39:16Other times we feel like we're a leaf blowing in the wind at the mercy of God's will.
39:23Both are true.
39:27In times of wobble and uncertainty, we must trust that God is always in control.
39:33And that wherever the wind takes us is for our highest good and God's great glory.
39:42Sometimes the road feels lonely without a friend in sight.
39:47But you never know the impact you might have on someone.
39:52Their role in your life and you in theirs.
39:56A wise man once said, when you find your place, you feel it stir in your heart.
40:04Ever since I first stepped foot in Brookfield, I have felt that quiet truth that said,
40:10Malcolm home.
40:13But what makes a place become a home is the community.
40:21For it's the people who touch our path, who shape us and make us who we are and make life
40:30so very meaningful.
40:33We don't always know if someone's in our life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
40:38But what matters is that they were there.
40:42And love was shared.
40:56So, let us give thanks for the season we have spent together.
