00:45opening moments but your mom throughout nearly every Pokemon adventure is the ultimate supportive
00:50parent we all wanted as kids. Not only does she completely support your dream of battling creatures
00:55against grown adults but she cheers you on throughout your adventure and is always happy
00:59to heal you and your Pokemon when you stop by for a visit. She gives you the freedom to make

01:04choices despite typically only being 10 years of age and is quick to remind you of the dangers of
01:10the world and make sure you have everything you need before setting out on your adventure.
01:14When we finally complete our goal of becoming the very best there's no one more proud and
01:19we'd want to tell first other than our mom.
01:33The immortal Queen of the cosmos not only is Rosalina not your traditional queen she's also not your
01:40traditional mother. The adopted mother of all Lumas Rosalina cares for all the stars in the galaxy
01:45raising them from tiny Lumas into their eventual transformations into the different aspects of the
01:50cosmos. She's an incredibly caring doting parents and teacher taking time to make sure every Luma
01:56feels loved and appreciated and given this is her role for all of eternity she is also incredibly
02:02patient. She has transformed her comet observatory into a home for these Lumas and the little stars
02:08clearly adore her frequently calling her mama. We thank you for your caring nature and eternal patience Rosalina.

03:10embracing her destiny. Even knowing the dangers that lay ahead for her adopted daughter.

03:36Tenenbaum is likely the most resistant mother on our list as she didn't begin with any maternal instincts
03:42toward the young girls or little sisters she experimented on. However even her cold and
03:47calculated scientific mind could only resist the natural call of motherhood for so long.
03:51Responsible for the little sisters predicament Tenenbaum became the girls' fierce protector
03:56and seeks to save them from the effects of her experiments. Pleading with both Jack and the
04:01player to spare her little ones from becoming the true abominations she had initially created them
04:06to be. Her desire to cure the little sisters of a disease that she herself inflicted on them
04:10makes her the most tragic of motherly figures on our list. And her eventual redemption as their
04:15savior is even more heartwarming if you manage to save the little sisters and unlock the good ending.

05:20blood. Yennefer would even often refer to Ciri as her daughter and the pair would become an anchor
05:26for each other during times of uncertainty and danger. Yennefer proves true family isn't always

06:13Freya's love for her son was so strong she was even willing to give up her life if it brought
06:18Balder peace.
06:19Consumed by grief after Balder's death, Freya eventually finds comfort in filling in the
06:24motherly role for Atreus, looking after the growing demigod and caring for him as her
06:29own.
06:29We don't always get to choose our family, sometimes the universe chooses them for us,
06:34and Atreus ended up needing Freya just as much as she needed him.

07:18how many times we mess up, when we get it right, she's the one who's most excited to see
07:23our accomplishments and encourages us to try making even more difficult, but even more
07:27delicious recipes the next time.

08:35At the end of the world, family is a hard thing to come by, and finding people you can
08:39trust is an even scarcer resource than food.
08:42Having watched Clementine's father-daughter bond with Lee come to a tragic end in Season
08:461 of Telltale's The Walking Dead, we were understandably apprehensive about seeing Clementine
08:51build new bonds as the adoptive mother of baby AJ, especially barely being a teenager
08:56herself.
08:57However, Clementine more than rose to the occasion, fully taking on the role of AJ's motherly
09:02figure and raising him to be a capable survivor in the zombie apocalypse.
09:06Motherhood proves to be a learning experience for both, but it's through their bond and
09:10growing relationship that manages to endure in the worst of times, and although still a
09:15child herself, Clementine's love for AJ gives her motherly wisdom far beyond her young
09:20years.

09:55Grace feels protective of her, looking for a way for the two of them to escape.
09:59Even though Grace is downright terrified, her concern quickly evolves from saving herself
10:04to caring for Emily and saving her as she does everything in her power to protect the
10:08poor girl, repeatedly saving her from the affected staff and residents, and even most
10:13horrifically, from the girl.
10:15Not only was Grace Emily's savior, but Emily helped her overcome her own trauma, and in
10:20turn, saved Grace, and became the unexpected family they both needed and deserved.
