What does the Bible say about suicide when someone feels like they have carried more pain than one person can hold?

This talk was created for people who need truth, but not cruelty. It is for someone who may be quietly fighting dark thoughts while still trying to look fine on the outside. It is also for families who have lost someone and are trying to think about suicide with compassion, humility, and faith.

The Bible teaches that life is sacred because every person is made by God. It does not call suicide a solution. It does not say death is the answer to suffering. But it also shows us people who were pushed to the edge of despair. Elijah was exhausted and wanted to die, and God met him first with care. That part of the story matters because people in deep pain often need safety and help before they can even think clearly again.

This message keeps Jesus at the center without forcing religious language where it does not belong. When Jesus speaks about life, rest, mercy, and the weary, His words matter deeply for anyone who feels close to giving up.

If you are in immediate danger, please reach out now. In the United States, call or text 988. If you are outside the United States, contact your local emergency number or crisis support line. You do not need to solve your whole life tonight. You need to stay alive and let help reach you.
