00:00thursday so we are six days away the 14th of may i think is where we're headed for the schedule
00:08release and we'll know once and for all when the commanders are playing the teams that we already
00:14know that they're playing that's the thing about the schedule it's a huge day danny for the people
00:18that make road trips that want to go to a road game it's a massive day for season ticket holders
00:23and it's just fun because you can go through for the first time and kind of visualize the season
00:28but the sneaky thing is we already know the opponents we have i got a list right here yeah
00:32we've already known i mean it's it's a big day for radio hosts that want to pick wins and losses

00:36may it's a big day for people to see how close they were to their mock schedule that they did
00:41a couple
00:42days before so it's big for those folks for the rest of us you're kind of mapping it out you're
00:46going where are the bye weeks where are the uh the potential trouble spots where are the short weeks
00:50where's the thursday night football after a sunday night game or you know any kind of pitfalls or
00:53things that stand out how many primetime games as you mentioned some of the road cities we already
00:57know but it's a matter of when new york in september that's a lot more fun maybe than new york

01:02december uh you know with the gross slushes on the ground if you're thinking about that or
01:06you know arizona the winner could be amazing because we know they're playing the cardinals
01:09that sort of stuff they lose a home date because of the london game that they're going to be playing
01:15yep but what i like is we're about to find out when that is that's the most important date i
01:19think to get
01:20because that's a marquee event and a lot of people are going to be traveling so you start to put
01:25your
01:25affairs in order you start to get everything lined up so that you can fly out of the country
01:30and we know the general window those games are off in october november they're not very early in the
01:35year they're not very late in the year so there's a range there's about a month to six weeks where
01:39those london games could be but generally it's going to be fall the last time the only other time they
01:44were in london when they took on the bangles when they tied that game because dustin hopkins couldn't make an
01:49extra point and clanked one off the upright that was a late october right around halloween during
01:55the world series time frame so you could be in order for one of those again yep or very early
01:59in
02:00november but that'll be well before thanksgiving but that's really scheduling wise unless very
02:06specifically you're taking a road trip to one of these cities i think that's probably the gist
02:11now if you're wondering where washington's playing on the road in 2026 so you've obviously got the
02:17division rivals the dallas cowboys new york giants philadelphia eagles they're in arizona to take
02:23on the cardinals that game is going to be played indoors if it's really hot out so it doesn't
02:29matter but as a person that might go to that game you want that game late in the season i've
02:35been to
02:35arizona for the preseason in august yeah good luck with that i have been to arizona for early september
02:42games i don't know if you remember when it's like an alex smith arrow week one game against the
02:45cardinals way out there that's not a fun trip to phoenix necessarily no but if you can get out there
02:51on december 9th if you're out there for like week 15 oh is it delightful that's pretty seasonally
02:56awesome so i'm going to say i'd prefer that one back into the schedule cowboys eagles giants
03:02whatever happens happens doesn't matter jacksonville i would tell you late in the season would be good
03:07but i spent a christmas day night so december 25th probably like 7 8 p.m got to the airport

03:17i was on the beat flew from national left the family during the day left christmas celebrations
03:23and whatnot that's a lonely night time in a hotel by the way yeah landing on christmas night but i

03:28excited you know went to sleep going to the game the next day but on december 26th in jacksonville it's
03:32kind of gross it was cold it was spitting rain wintery mix with a little bit of snow as well

03:42pontevedra beach which is incredible and doesn't make any sense to me it's you know you know like
03:47the florida bit about those giant ditch gully things between the roads on the big highways
03:53the storm drain stuff it's hard to explain unless you see it's like the like here we have roads
03:57one lane goes one way the yellow line the other thing goes the other way it's always divided and
04:03it's always like standing water that's been there since like the mesozoic era and it's always gross
04:08and it's that strip malls like swampy swampy and it's nubs and it's really spread out and it the
04:15whole thing's just designed poorly and then you go to this amazing beach i mostly agree with you on
04:18jacksonville i had a buddy i'll never forget this who was he's like a lawyer type dude i don't know
04:24exactly what he does it's like super grown up i think it's on his business card lawyer type dude he
04:27wears like a dress shirt every day maybe even a jacket but him and his wife were able to like
04:32pick up and move one time and why they did it i don't really know but they they were gonna

04:36could move anywhere they wanted to essentially and so he had this spreadsheet so he was one of these
04:41guys where he put together this spreadsheet with like pros and cons and all the cities in america and
04:46where he wanted to move and different things and they end up moving to a suburb of jacksonville
04:51and i'll just never forget that i'm like what that is not my perception of jacksonville i think of
04:57cops and a guy with his shirt off on a bike riding away from a cop right behind the circle

05:44courses and strip malls when's the right time to be in san francisco i would think that is early fall
05:50yeah i think it's cold at night during the winter probably but i don't know california in december is
05:57not bad and by the way washington i feel like always plays when they're out there it's always
06:01near christmas i want to do late season san francisco i want tennessee in december i want like
06:07a christmas time in nash vegas kind of a situation i want that mini snoda organization we went there
06:14last year we're not going back there this year although i would be perfectly fine doing it's pretty
06:17warm right juicy lucy's in a great stadium yeah it's about four degrees when we were there but i
06:22would love to go there when they got those doors open in that stadium it's like the garage doors
06:26they don't open up but they basically go out and then it's just open air so you feel like you're
06:31outdoors if it's above 50 they do that in october that would be perfect all about that so where do
06:38you think we'll we'll look deeper into this when we actually get the schedule but in terms of the
06:42grant and danny road trips this year with our boys k&m kandori and murad the km lawyers

11:24workshop the the travel part of it right i don't know if i can do that and we got to

11:29powers that be about logistics the way it would have to work i am interested the way it would have
11:33to work and i'm sure everyone's really interested in this but we'd have to go after the show
11:37one night do the overnight flight and just wear it for a day and have the tired punch

11:48trying hard for you guys then recover then be ready to go for the rest of the time that we're

11:53if we do a domestic trip and we don't end up doing london because a grown-up steps in and
