12:06The amount that we found is consistent with not a user amount, but a distribution amount.
12:12And then, additionally, he's got a scale that's in plain view, so we're going to go ahead and seize that
12:16now.
12:18With the amount of drugs that we've already found, we're just going to go ahead and get a warrant for
12:22the whole vehicle.

13:15One of the concerned neighbors called and said that he found a baggie of what he thinks is cocaine.
13:21So we're going to go see what he's got.
13:24Cars might leave as soon as we show up.
13:25We've seen that time and time again.

13:42There was another officer in the area that saw this vehicle leaving that specific house.

20:51A couple years ago, I had a wild event with a convicted felon
20:56when I was assigned to the CSU in Fairbanks.
20:59Definitely not what I thought I'd be doing
21:00when I woke up that morning.
21:06This guy had recently been seen in Anchorage open carrying a pistol.
21:12He also presented another pistol to a store employee.
21:16We also suspected he was trafficking drugs.
21:18So we were intending on stopping this guy for the felon in possession crime.
21:23So we had planned our stop on the Park Highway near Healy.
21:28We were about 100-ish miles away from Fairbanks.
21:34We had people set up ahead with spike strips.
21:37We'd have a helicopter in the air.
21:41Initially, the guy had pulled over.
21:43When we went to lock him in.
21:48My pursuit ensued.

22:47I think it was only a half second, but it felt like an eternity.

23:18Earlier that year is when my wife and I had our first kiddo, and so she was only a couple

23:33Today I am heading to a village about 15 to 18 miles downriver from Bethel.
23:39We had a report of a threat that was made by a former employee of the village corporation there.
23:46He made the threat on Facebook, seemed to state that the guy wanted money and said he was considering robbing
23:53a bank or killing a corporation employee for money.
23:56And then showed up to the building an hour or two later and caused quite a scare for the employees
24:04there.
24:06So we're gonna go head down there and try to interview this guy.
24:12What a studly man.
24:14That one has to be.
24:20In the state of Alaska, if you make a threat to human life, that threat may initiate an emergency protocol.
24:27In this case, the employees didn't evacuate the building, but they'd already made a plan that if he showed up
24:31to work, they were going to try to lock the door.
24:37Have some surveillance footage of one of the victims preparing to defend themselves with a large office stapler, in case
24:44the guy was to come up and intend them harm.
24:48When we're here in the villages, we rely on the tribal police pretty heavily to show us where people's houses
24:53are and help us find folks who don't live here and we're not nearly as familiar as they are with
24:58it.

36:37we're currently headed out to an area called big lake we're going to look for a gentleman who has
36:42a couple of active arrest warrants for the misdemeanor assault and assault in the third
36:47degree which is a felony level assault we believe he might be hanging out at a known house we typically
36:56contact a lot of people there with either prior history with us or have active warrants and stuff like
37:06that so for sure people live in this camper back here in a lot of these places people will just
37:12appear out of nowhere or they'll pop out of something that you thought was a pile of trash
37:16and turns out it's a small area they're camping in they pose an officer safety aspect of this because
37:22a lot of places to hide a lot of places people can be that we can't see them

41:17days like today when we actually do end up finding them after trying working talking to people
41:21looking at different places it's gratifying knowing that we were able to spend our time
41:26in a positive way to take someone off the streets that needed to go to jail
