16:59for about the last 24 hours uh patrol day shift and night shift has been trying to find two people
17:06and see if we can get them arrested today this is probably one of the most like heinous crimes that
17:13i've ever seen anything about so about a month and a half ago patrol responded to a medical assist
17:20welfare check type call involving a four-year-old little girl who had suffered some injuries evidence
17:28on scene showed that the girl was very obviously suffering abuse and starvation the child later died
17:37in the hospital and her death was ruled a homicide child abuse investigation unit was able to get warrants
17:43for the two adults that were supposed to be taking care of the little girl
17:48it's a woman and her boyfriend the woman is the main suspect in the case so she has been ultimately
17:54charged
17:55with committing the murder and actually doing the things that led to the little girl's death
18:00we've been told that her and her boyfriend know that they have the warrants they're obviously doing
18:05something to try to hide from us because they're not in any of their known locations seems like she's
18:10changed her phone number she skipped out of work yesterday she's definitely on the run from us
18:15we do have updated information about what kind of car she's in
18:20yeah all right so the car's hidden back here on this public road just stay on the car and wait

28:21amount is it's about 0.03 grams so we're getting into hundreds of doses it definitely feels good to get

29:03canine kenny is a belgian malinois he's certified on the detection orders of cocaine heroin methamphetamine
29:11and fentanyl canine kenny is instrumental in bridging the gap between reasonable suspicion and probable
29:19cause if you have reasonable suspicion that there's drugs in that car right now you can run the dog on
29:24the car that process includes kenny just searching the exterior of the vehicle for the odors of those
29:30four narcotics and if he locates that odors he'll sit indicate and then that's him telling you hey i found
29:37one of these four owners and then you can apply for the search warrant to search that vehicle for
29:42those drugs
29:45i'll let you guys know when he leaves right now look like he's just sitting in the driver's seat maybe

29:48his phone or something all right so we're heading over to um kind of stage in the area of this
