00:01:49Tonight's tribal was one of the craziest experiences I've ever had.
00:01:55And for me personally, being a part of it, I'd say it's the greatest tribal of all time.

00:03:40But I got lucky that Devens and Aubrey didn't say I brought up Ozzy.

00:03:46Not so well for Miss Stephanie.

00:06:06And I just feel like, you know, this is what staying positive gets you, man.

00:06:27This is the game I would want to play.
00:06:29If I just, as an outside observer, looked at every castaway out there, no doubt, Devins,
00:06:35that's the one I want.
00:06:37So I'm that guy.
00:06:40So now my strategy is get to the end with emphasis so that they have no choice but to give
00:06:46you
00:06:47a million dollars.
00:06:48Two million dollars because of me.
00:06:53So the mood around camp is pretty celebratory, minus Joe and Jonathan.
00:07:01You wake up in camp and it's hard because I should be rejoicing.
00:07:07We had an epic day.
00:07:09We had a two million dollar prize now.
00:07:11Why am I not enjoying this one?
00:07:13And I thought, oh, yeah, it's awkward because of Rick.
00:07:17Well, how would you even want to work with him?
00:07:19I don't even, as a person, I don't even get it done.

00:07:25From a strategic standpoint, the jury might love the fake idol, the ruckus, the drama,
00:07:31but I thought it was extremely poor taste.

00:09:50For whatever reason, everybody is so hyper-focused on Devin's idol that we're losing sight of the fact that one
00:09:57of the biggest challenge beasts in this game has an idol.

00:11:36The family letters really are an opportunity, if you want to take it,
00:11:40to open up, to connect, to bond over, you know, our crazy families.
00:11:46My dad died like eight years ago.
00:11:48So, it was just in my mom's letter.
00:11:51He talked about, she talked about how bad he was.
00:11:54Just about him, because, like, I haven't thought about him at all since I've been out here.
00:12:00And part of it's like the distraction.
00:12:05I didn't want it.
00:12:06I didn't want the letters.
00:12:08But it's nice to have it, because it is, reminds me.
00:12:12My father's name is Oscar, as well.
00:12:14My dad was, like, the most gregarious people person that you have ever seen in your entire life, ever.

00:12:26And my dad's not alive anymore.
00:12:34I was really hard on him.
00:12:41I talked about it publicly.
00:12:43The most challenging experience in my life would probably be the relationship that I have with my father.
00:12:51I love my family more than anything, but my father just has never been there for me.
00:12:57I don't think it did him justice, because he wanted to be there.

00:14:28And me being out here is carrying that spirit with me.

00:26:07The eight of you are now going to be randomly divided into two very small groups of four.

00:26:18Both groups are going to vote somebody out.
00:26:25You are obviously safe, so you can't be voted out.

00:54:36with the vigor that I know that I came into this game with.
00:54:39And I was really nervous to come out here because I was terrified of disappointing the fans and
00:54:44my family.
00:54:45But I am so happy I gave it a try and I'm so thankful to be sitting here now.
00:55:11All right, so the first tribal from this power broker advantage has played out.

00:55:19So, Joe, what was it like to experience yet another new layer to this game?
00:55:24I mean, it was just a lot to take in.
00:55:27I mean, you're trying to figure out the whole big picture and it always falls back to me
00:55:31just trying to rely on those relationships and just try to really make the best decision
00:55:35you can with what's in front of you.
00:55:38Aubrey, that's really the best approach to always have, which is where is the opportunity
00:55:43in this moment for me?
00:55:45Yeah, that's Survivor's about finding the openings and trying to keep doors
00:55:48open and keep trust open and talking to people.
00:55:52And tonight, if there is simply an ember of trust, hopefully there can be a flame.
00:55:58Rizzo, what was your take on this?
00:56:00What's great about this twist is we're doing basically a final five vote twice.
00:56:06And a lot of people say the final five is the most crucial vote in the game because that's
00:56:10when advantages end.
00:56:11That's the last time to play certain things.
00:56:13So do I say, maybe one more, maybe one more?
00:56:16Or do I say, you know what?
00:56:17Let me guarantee myself the next day.
00:56:19But the reality is you have to take that leap of faith and trust somebody.
00:56:24Look around you, build those bonds.
00:56:25And when you go to tribal, that's when that leap of faith is tested.
00:56:29Ozzy, what's your take on that?
00:56:31Because what Rizzo brought up is something that hadn't occurred to me.
00:56:33It is two essentially final five votes in a sense.
00:56:37Yeah, I mean, you're falling back on your instincts.
00:56:40You know, I got to be honest, like a couple of tribals ago, I was ready to play an idol
00:56:44for sure.
00:56:45And something caught me and I didn't take the leap.
00:56:48And thank God I didn't because that would have burned the idol and I wouldn't have it for
00:56:52later in the game.
00:56:53But at this point, you hope that the instincts that have gotten you this far in the game are
00:57:00going to shoot you straight once again.
00:57:02And Ozzy, does that trust or that leap of faith get better the more you play Survivor?
00:57:08Or is it always going to be the same question, even if you're newer to Survivor?
00:57:13Times in the past that I've played Survivor, I was not really good at it.
00:57:18Not as trusting as I should have been, too trusting when I shouldn't have been.
00:57:22And I played a much more solo game.
00:57:24You know, I was more interested in trying to win challenges.
00:57:28And I knew this time around that I just couldn't do that.
00:57:30And it's amazing to actually be with people and see them win immunities, you know, like
00:57:36watching Jonathan today just by a hair winning.
00:57:40That's almost worth more to me than the solo kind of selfish feeling of like beating Boston
00:57:48Rob's record.
00:57:49And so I just hope that I'm here one more day to share more of the joy, more of the
00:57:55love that I have for this game.

00:57:59The fact that he's sitting there saying that means a whole lot to me.
00:58:03Ozzy was one of the reasons that I came out to play Survivor.
00:58:06When I did my first video, I talked about wanting to be like him.

00:58:27What was your take coming in in terms of how you played in the past versus what you want
00:58:32to do this time?
00:58:33I think in the past, I've been a very anxious player.
00:58:37Ozzy and I, we've both done a lot of work on ourselves.
00:58:41I can say that I truly have shed the anxiety that would just ripple off of me.
00:58:47And I know everybody's seen it, and I know it's still there.
00:58:50But I have embraced it as my friend.
00:58:52And it's been a big evolution for me.
00:58:55And I'm just so honored to be on Survivor 50.
00:58:58Like, the game has evolved.
00:58:59I have, too.
00:59:00And it's exceptionally cool to be here with other people who value that.
