00:07Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at 10 of the hardest endings to unlock
00:13in fighting games. Before we begin we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to
00:25Mojo Plays, and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos. The true ending, Kirby Fighters 2.
00:42On the surface Kirby Fighters 2 does not seem like too difficult of a fighting game, and it isn't for
00:48the most part, but if you want to go for the true ending you will have to finish the fifth
00:53and final
00:54chapter of the single-player campaign, The Partners Who Shook the Heavens.
01:05Not only do you have to fight through a 50-floor tower, you will have to fight incredibly more
01:11powerful versions of Meta Knight and King Dedede for the grand finale. It is a lengthy test of
01:18endurance, and can end very quickly when played on higher difficulties.
01:31The Extreme Endings
01:34Guilty Gear Strive
01:43Guilty Gear Strive is already a fairly tough game to get into, with its massive roster of characters
01:50who also function vastly differently from one another. Though when you start getting into the
01:55story mode, it becomes a completely different beast, one that might make the game more infuriating to tolerate.
02:09The Extreme Difficulty basically allows the AI to become a cheating, spamming, input-reading
02:16monstrosity reminiscent of arcade fighting games in the 90s in the worst ways imaginable. If you want
02:22your character's full story, you're just going to have to power through and pray to God that you know
02:28the ins and outs of your character's kit, along with everybody else's.
02:33Have I fulfilled my role as your knight?
02:36Not until I'm old, gray, and on my bed.
02:39The 100% Ending
02:41Persona 4 Arena
02:44Here...
02:45Akihiko-san.
02:47Um...
02:48That doesn't feel right.
02:49Most players would probably do the bare minimum required to beat Persona 4 Arena and call it a day once
02:56they saw an ending of any kind.
02:58However, there is a true ending to shoot for. Unfortunately, it is far from easy and can wind up being
03:05tedious for some.
03:06Aw, maybe it's too formal.
03:09You will have to replay every portion of the story and go through every possible dialogue path. On top of
03:16that, you're going to have to complete every single challenge within the score attack mode. And yes, there are some
03:23challenges that will test your patience. Keep in mind that Arc System Works, the guys behind Guilty Gear, did co
03:29-develop the game with P-Studio. So, are you really that surprised about the insane requirements here?
03:43The Ending
03:44The Ending
03:45The Ending
03:54Upon defeating Metal Sonic, you will have one more boss to endure. And whether or not you see the Ending
04:00hinges entirely on this fight.
04:02You will have to face off against Dr. Robotnik, who is fighting in one of his patented mech suits.
04:09And you have a mere 15 seconds to defeat him.
04:17Should you fail to beat him in time or get KO'd, your entire ladder ends here.
04:23You will get no ending, you will simply go to credits.
04:27Thankfully, he isn't as oppressive as Metal Sonic, but if anything, that short time limit is likely what will cheat
04:34you out of seeing the ending.
04:42The True Ending. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
04:57While it does not boast a requirement that is as egregious as complete the entire game 100% or win
05:04on the hardest difficulty,
05:05Super Smash Bros. Ultimate does task you in fulfilling one slightly tricky condition to unlock its true ending.
05:12In the final boss fight for the World of Light campaign, you will have to fight Galeem and Darkon at
05:18the same time using your own team of fighters.
05:30Defeating one will get you an ending where the other takes over the world,
05:35but if you truly want to save this universe of video game heroes,
05:38you will have to defeat one and then quickly defeat the other within a certain amount of time.
05:47Half of the roster's endings.
05:49Power Stone.
05:58So here's the deal.
05:59If you play as Ayame, Rouge, Falcon, or Jack, you're probably fine.
06:05Play as any other character in the game, and you will find that Power Stone is absurdly difficult.
06:11It's not even the regular fights that you have to worry about.
06:14Vargas is the reason why unlocking half of the roster's endings is so brutal.
06:26Vargas seems to always know where the next stone will spawn in a general vicinity.
06:32And the second you're a few feet away, he will figure out a way to bum rush you before ending
06:37the fight in just a few hits.
06:39Our advice?
06:39Try your best to harass him with items to keep him away from the stones.
07:01Helena's story mode is only unlocked once you have beaten everyone else's story mode.
07:06But the process of unlocking Helena is not what makes this difficult.
07:10Rather, it's playing as Helena herself that's the issue.
07:20She is one of the worst characters to play as due to her reliance on stances and low damage output.
07:27A skilled player can make her frightening, yes, but that's after hundreds of hours of play.
07:32If you barely play as her, getting her ending is going to be a chore.
07:44Fakua's ending, Skullgirls.
07:57Unlike the Guilty Gear series, Skullgirls does not lock any of its cutscenes behind difficulty.
08:03You can play any character's story on whatever difficulty you choose, except for Fakua's.
08:09When playing Fakua's story, you will experience most of it under the difficulty you chose,
08:14except for when you get to the final boss.
08:26Your final fight is against a Technicolored Philia who, no matter what you set your difficulty to,
08:33is automatically set to Nightmare.
08:36And you cannot cheese this fight by timing her out, as there is no time limit.
08:41The fight ends when someone is dead.
08:44The best way to beat her is by baiting her to close the distance
08:48and use projectiles before running away or launching her away.
08:56Roll's ending.
08:58Marvel vs. Capcom.
09:00Clash of Superheroes.
09:08In the world of fighting games, Roll has long been known to be one of the worst playable characters
09:14in MVC history, and fighting game history.
09:17As if it wasn't already bad enough being a clone of the Blue Bomber himself,
09:22Roll deals significantly less damage than he can,
09:25and takes significantly more damage than any other character in the game.
09:35To get Roll's ending, you're basically going to have to pair her up with a way stronger character.
09:42You'll pretty much be adopting a glass cannon playstyle.
09:45Just make sure Roll can land the final hit on Onslaught,
09:48just so you for sure get her ending.
10:09The original Killer Instinct is much more fun to play with friends than it is to play solo.
10:14The reason we say this is because the AI makes playing Killer Instinct a miserable experience.
10:20You can spend all the time and energy you want learning how your main works and everything.
10:25It doesn't matter, though.
10:26This game, for as much as we love it, will cheat you,
10:30as the AI will constantly input read and seemingly do way more damage than your combos ever could.
10:45Sure, perhaps some of you can get through the first couple of opponents with some dedication and resilience.
10:51Regardless, once you're fighting Thunder, Orchid, or TJ Combo,
10:55good luck getting your mains ending along with everybody else's.
11:04Have you managed to unlock any of these endings for yourself?
