00:10Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we're counting down our picks for the 10 hardest
00:15bosses to square off against in Nioh 3. Oh, and apologies in advance for any of
00:20these names that I might mispronounce. I am just a mere mortal after all. Let's do this.
00:35Before we begin, we publish new content all week long,
00:38so be sure to subscribe and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:45Jakotsu Baba.
00:54Jakotsu Baba, a serpentine witch-like behemoth with
00:57eviscerating magical attacks, acts as a brutal early-game reality check,
01:02forcing players to manage a chaotic mix of dual-elemental threats and deceptive attack rhythms.
01:08Commanding a red fire snake and a blue ice snake, she bombards the arena with rapid frostbite
01:14projectiles and high-key burning strikes that split your defensive attention. Because her
01:20physical sweeps feature heavily delayed, counterintuitive windups, she easily punches early
01:25panic dodges, while her massive shield-breaking combos will instantly shatter your guard if you
01:31try to passively turtle.
01:39Demon of Obsession. The Demon of Obsession stands out as a highly stressful late-game wall in Nioh 3,
01:46forcing players to constantly adapt to chaotic artillery shots and nimble tracking mechanics.
01:51Guarded by a massive shoulder-mounted cannon, this formidable foe relentlessly bombards the castle
01:57grounds with explosive shell barrages, vertical wind-wave projectiles, and tracking green crescent blades.
02:14If you attempt to panic dodge to the side during his signature charging smash,
02:18his aggressive tracking trajectory will adjust mid-stride to crush you instantly.
02:24Surviving this relentless onslaught demands hyper-precise forward dodging to try and slip right
02:29through his hitboxes and get behind him if possible, turning the entire arena into a strict test of
02:35positioning and nerfs. Oh, and also avoid its gaping maw. Nuri Batoke.
02:50This deeply chaotic, rhythmic nightmare encountered at the Hinoji Temple Crucible heavily punishes players,
02:56with deceptive, delayed animations and sudden phase shifts. In its initial giant stone statue form,
03:03its slow chops and stretchy hand sweeps feature deliberate, counterintuitive wind-ups,
03:08designed to trick you into panic-dodging early. The real chaos begins when it triggers the Dark Realm,
03:14shedding its rigid exterior to transform into a fluid, tentacle-like monstrosity. It's creepy.
03:20In this form, it aggressively moves across the arena with erratic tracking,
03:24executing massive vertical body slams, and even rapidly drains your ki gauge if you attempt to
03:30passively block. Furthermore, its vulnerable weak point crystals only light up for a fraction
03:35of a second during its most dangerous attacks, turning the fight into a high-stakes test of patience
03:40with precise split-second timing. Minamoto no Yoritomo. This baddie looks like a sort of monochromatic,
03:57feathery bird mixed with something like Count Dracula. He rules the battlefield as a punishing aerial hybrid
04:03threat, heavily penalizing passive players with a devastating combination of high-flying mobility and
04:09crushing wind elements.
04:18Brandishing massive feather-like wings and a long crucible sword, the leader of the Seewagenji clan
04:24constantly controls the space by unleashing sweeping cyclone blades, diagonal wind waves, and long-range
04:31ground fissures that carve straight through the arena. Standing directly in front of him to passively
04:36hold your block is a swift death sentence, as his rapid tracking strings can immediately shatter your
04:42stamina pool. The true threat arises when he takes to the skies for his signature dive bomb grab attack,
04:48requiring you to suppress roll directly beneath his shadow if possible to avoid getting pulverized and
04:54safely land a counterattack or two on his recovery frames.
05:08Are you enjoying learning about the hardest bosses in Nioh 3? Well, we have a fun 24-7 gaming live

05:25Ibaraki Doji
05:34Ibaraki Doji acts as a relentless DPS test that ruthlessly punishes passive players through high
05:40voltage lightning attacks and an oppressive automated healing factor. Yeah, talk about fun.
05:45Wielding a massive, razor-sharp magical claw prosthetic, this ancient terror constantly
05:51controls the battlefield tempo by summoning tracing lightning pillars, arena-wide electrical sweeps,
05:57and rapid homing projectile bursts. The true nightmare of this encounter stems from her highly
06:02aggressive Dark Realm phase, where she gains extreme physical resistance and begins actively
06:07regenerating her ki and status gauges. Seems a bit unfair, right? Attempting to safely turtle,
06:14or back away to heal plays directly into her hands, forcing you to execute frame-perfect ninja-style
06:20evades directly through her lightning fields to land heavy-hitting martial arts before her recovery
06:26windows snap shut.
06:34Okita Soji
06:35You'd think a more traditional blade versus blade battle would be a tad easier, but nope, not here.
06:41Okita Soji flips the script on traditional human duelists by punishing blind aggression with an
06:47unparalleled lightning-fast response system. Encountered as a required guardian at Mibu Temple,
06:53this terminally ill captain of the Shinsegumi operates as a pure glass cannon. He consistently
06:59baits you with a seemingly defensive posture, only to then execute near-instantaneous dash slashes,
07:05airborne cross-lunges, and delayed tracking stabs the split second you lock yourself into an attack
07:11animation. What fun!
07:23The encounter shifts into absolute overdrive during his mid-fight transformation. Here, he abandons
07:29standard running trajectories to seamlessly teleport across the arena and fast, blending rapid dual-wielded
07:35draw slashes with deceptive burst attacks. So in order to conquer him, hopefully, you must resist the urge to spam
07:42heavy combos as much as you might want to, instead relying on high-mobility ninja evades to slip past his
07:49flanks and exploit the fleeting coughing fits that momentarily leave him vulnerable. Demon of Pride
08:06They say looks can kill. Well, such is the case with this peacock-visage demon, the Demon of Pride.
08:12He acts as a punishing gatekeeper of sorts that aggressively crushes overconfident players who are
08:18just trying to speedrun through this very region. Accessible much earlier than your standard progression
08:23path recommends, this water-imbued foe shifts the tactical focus away from close quarters trading
08:29towards strict defensive pacing. He commands wide-sweeping, staggered physical combos that can
08:35easily clip your early dodges, while his mid-fight Dark Realm Transition expands his zone of control
08:41with a relentless barrage of homing ice spheres. Because trying to brute force your way through his
08:47high health pool results in instant death for you, conquering him requires you to maintain a safe distance
08:53when possible. Fish out for heavily delayed burst counters to shatter his immense key gauge
08:58and systematically chip down his defenses while waiting out his elemental phases.
09:08Tis I who am most fit to rule. Not you!
09:16Kajiwara Kagetoki Kajiwara Kagetoki stands as a highly controversial and frustrating human duel,
09:23that heavily punishes traditional close quarters combat by weaponizing unnatural hyper armor and
09:29non-stop projectile spam. Operating with an aggressive AI routine that completely ignores
09:34standard stagger mechanics, this elite warrior frequently shrugs off your heaviest martial arts
09:40mid-swing to retaliate with instantaneous hatchet throw combos. After all, he's no one-trick pony, not at all.
09:56The mechanical challenge reaches an infuriating peak whenever you successfully deplete his stamina.
10:02Rather than entering a vulnerable grapple state, his unique defensive perks allow him to instantly
10:07trigger a key recovery pulse, while simultaneously unleashing tracking elemental magic to force you away.
10:14Defeating him requires you to abandon greedy melee strings entirely,
10:19forcing a high-stress mental game where you must patiently bait out his specific recovery windows,
10:24while constantly managing your own elemental status resistances.
10:35Hiroko
10:43Our penultimate pick for this list is none other than the final harrowing battle against Hiroko.
10:49The climactic clash against Hiroko serves as a brutal test of endurance that abandons traditional,
10:54predictable boss phases for a chaotic five-element gauntlet. Forcing you to battle his ominous and
11:01frankly terrifying fully unleashed yokai form, he continuously shifts his affinity across fire,
11:07ice, blood, spikes, and lightning, with three of these phases packing permanent elemental imbuements
11:13that completely bypass standard shield blocking. The mechanical tipping point occurs in the dark realm.
11:18If you successfully land a burst break to cancel a lethal blade rush, his unique AI can instantly
11:25override the stagger animation to unleash a secondary power attack. Conquering him requires you to maintain
11:31absolute discipline, completely abandoning stationary defensive postures to aggressively cycle your armor
11:38resistances and dodge directly through his sweeping AOE hazards to hopefully exploit fleeting openings from behind.
11:54Tokugawa Kunimatsu
12:05Depending on your playstyle, you could interchange Hiroko and this boss Tokugawa Kunimatsu as the hardest in the game,
12:12but for our money at least we are going with the shogun wannabe Tokugawa Kunimatsu as the peak battle
12:19here in Nioh 3 that will test all of your expertise and prowess. Kunimatsu reigns supreme as the game's ultimate
12:25mechanical wall because he actively forces you to switch between completely opposite combat styles mid combo,
12:32just to stay alive. Yeah, that's a lot. Unlike lower tier bosses in the game that you can easily,
12:38we kind of say in quotes because none of these bosses are easy, but easily beat by sticking to one
12:43strategy.
12:43Here, Kunimatsu seamlessly weaves hyper aggressive sword sequences with massive arena wide elemental bursts.
12:51Defeating him requires flawless muscle memory. You must use tight samurai deflections to survive his relentless melee attacks,
12:58and then instantly switch to high mobility ninja dodging to slip through his screen covering projectile traps.
13:04We did say it's a lot. With zero recovery windows and a lethal second phase that instantly punishes a single
13:10mistime input,
13:11which will happen a lot, this brutal fight stands as the absolute final exam of your mechanical skills.
13:27So, do you agree with our picks for this list? Who are the hardest bosses you battled in Nioh 3?
