00:00David Duvall is in 1990. He shot a 59. Okay. One of the greatest games ever played. And I've seen
00:05interviews with him. And a question asked was, you know, what was going on that day? What do you remember
00:12about that day? And I know you've thrown a couple of no-hitters in your professional career. And I wonder
00:17if this resonates with you.
00:19He said it just blew him away how easy it was that day. For whatever reason, it just all came
00:26together. I don't think that'd be quite the same for a pitcher. I think it'd be, you're working out there.
00:32You're trying, you're pitch selections and making sure that it all gets done right. He seemed to just, it just
00:37happened so easily. When you had your no-hitters, were they easy? Or did you really have to work to
00:43make those happen?
00:44No, actually it was. Really? No, you're actually. Really? He was spot on. Okay. Yeah, when I threw the no
00:50-hitter with Chooch in Philly on my last day, there were a couple times he didn't even put down a
00:56sign. No kidding. Wow. We were so locked in to what we had to do. And we were already anticipating
01:02and reading. We were like reading each other's minds in a way. And there were a couple times he threw
01:07back a couple pitches in the sort of sequence of what we were about to do because of what we
01:13saw and how
01:13things were going the previous pitch that I just kind of smiled and grinned in a way and just walked
01:19around and did it. Wow. And you know, that's when you know you're kind of locked in is it is
01:24you're getting out of your own way. And when the catcher can realize that he's getting out of his own
01:29way and you're just flowing and that's what it is.
