00:02Whaaaaaaaaaah!
00:04What are you doing now?
00:05I'm at the carnival.
00:06Cotton candy 5 hour energy.
00:08It tastes like a carnival.
00:09Zero sugar.
00:10That actually sounds pretty good.
00:11Yeah.
00:11You want to take a ride with me?
00:13No.
00:13I don't do that.
00:14God Bless.
00:24There's a little girl who sent a paper airplane to her neighbour.
00:29Her neighbor plays guitar sometimes.
00:32Okay.
00:32And she thought, well, I'll get him to play some requests.
00:36Hmm.
00:37Some songs that I might like.
00:38Hmm.
00:39Here's the story on this one from WKYC-TV.
00:42Last week, 8-year-old Madeline Glenn heard music coming from next door from a neighbor she'd never met.
00:49Why?
00:49Because I don't want to just walk into his backyard.
00:52So I asked my mom if she can help me make a paper airplane.
00:55I'm not good at throwing paper airplanes, so she had to throw it for me.
01:00On the other side of the fence was 26-year-old musician Ethan Hayes, who just moved in last September.
01:08Hey, man.
01:10My daughter threw a paper plate over.
01:12He answered Madeline's request.
01:15And I wanted to know if you can play Taylor Swift.
01:17I got it.
01:18Instantly.
01:19I'm sick.
01:19You're taking me, please don't go.
01:23Her mom, Natalie Hulick, posted the sweet interaction to TikTok.
01:28I just thought it was the cutest thing, and I love how she wrote out the note.
01:31But no one expected what happened next.
01:34And my mom showed me the TikTok, how many, like, views and lexica.
01:39And then I got so shocked.
01:42Especially Ethan.
01:43I didn't know she was recording.
01:45I didn't hear him singing along.
01:472.7 million is crazy.
01:49I can't really believe that.
01:50But I'd do it for, you know, 200 views.
01:53I'd do it for them.
01:55Yet millions of people felt something from a man who didn't even know anyone else was watching.
02:01Careful, man.
02:01Ethan says the moment is so much bigger than just one song.
02:05What are we if we don't have each other?
02:07Community, I think, is one of the most important things.
02:10And, again, like you see on the Internet, like, there's all this bad stuff.
02:13But especially now, like, as things get hard, like, it's always nice to have somebody to lean on.
02:17What Natalie captured has changed things for Ethan, too.
02:21He's gained thousands of new followers since the video posted.
02:25So the amount of attention he's gained throughout this has been, like, so rewarding.
02:30And I'm so excited for him.
02:32I mean, it's in everything we do.
02:33The best thing people do is love and music.
02:36Like, Russ Hulick says the lesson is simple but more important than ever.
02:41Think about the little things.
02:42You know, little things make a big difference.
02:44Something Madeline tries to live by every day.
02:47By smiling at people.
02:49And having the courage to reach out to someone else because you never know what could be on the other
02:56side of the fence.
02:57You send me your Taylor Swift request.
02:59I'll say, what, raining blood again?
03:00Oh, yeah.
03:02Yeah.
03:03Hit him with a couple Slayer songs.
03:05Someone said, that mama sounds thirsty.
03:08Come on, relax.
03:09Come on.
03:09She's pregnant, yes.
03:10No, she's pregnant 100%.
03:12She's pregnant.
03:13She's holding her belly.
03:13Yeah, she's not just chubby.
03:15She's pregnant.
03:16I just don't like to make that.
03:18I don't like to.
03:19Absolutely pregnant.
03:20That's a D guarantee.
03:21It'd be a hell of a thing.
03:22Come on, you'd have to say she's pregnant.
03:23It'd be a hell of a thing if she wasn't.
03:25She's pregnant.
03:25With who's baby?
03:27It's not the guitar players.
03:29It's not the 26-year-old guitar guy.
03:32Careful, Russ.
03:33Don't fall in love with a guitar player.
03:34I guess it's just weird.
03:35Like, oh, you know what you should do, little girl?
03:38Here, make this.
03:38Let's make this paper airplane.
03:40And, you know, I know you can't throw them, so I'll throw it over to him.
03:45Yeah.
03:46And, yeah, okay.
03:49We can never do a nice story here.
03:51Never.
03:52Everyone wants to bang everybody.
03:54Russ better start working from home.
03:56That's what I think.
03:58Russ better put some cameras up.
04:00After that baby's gone, she's for sure banging that nose.
04:04Oh, my God, man.
04:06She's like, I'm so excited for all the success he's had.
04:10Amazing.
04:11All the followers he's getting.
04:13Let it just be nice.
04:15My husband's boring and just goes to work and works hours and hours.
04:21And I just listen to that hot young man play his guitar across the street.
04:27Why is he playing on his porch?
04:28You know why he's playing on his porch.
04:31And her daughter already loves him.
04:33Yeah.
04:33Oh, boy.
04:34And the mom started singing along.
04:36Yeah.
04:37Oh, no.
04:38Okay.
04:40Oh, come on.
04:40Poor Russ, man.
04:41Poor Russ.
04:42Set a camera up, Russ.
04:46Russ seems fine with it.
04:47Russ is happy.
04:49Well, Russ might be into it, too.
04:50Everything's different.
04:51Everything is changing.
04:52Oh, come on.
04:52The family doesn't want to bang the guitar guy.
04:56Russ has a thousand-yard stare in one of those.
04:59You can see him.
05:00They're both looking at him, and he's just like...
05:04Yeah.
05:05He does.
05:06I mean, I'd be...
05:08What is he really thinking right now?
05:11Ask this guitar guy!
05:12You guys are like, wow, what a great story, huh?
05:14What a great...
05:16What a great, great story it is.
05:18Yeah, I'm doing paternity tests.
05:21That's what I'm doing.
05:22You can just tell by his body language.
05:24They're all sitting.
05:24He's like, shoot.
05:28Shoot.
05:28You guys are ridiculous.
05:29It's a nice story.
05:30I hope one of his friends...
05:31I hope one of his friends is like, dude.
05:35Check into it, man.
05:38She doesn't want to bang the guitar guy.
05:41Let's check in in a couple years.
05:43We won't.
05:44We won't be able to, because we won't remember, but something tells me Russ would be moseying
05:49on.
05:51Let me check that paper airplane before you throw it over there.
05:54Make sure those notes are song requests.
05:57Yeah, exactly.
05:59It says Russ is going out of town in a week.
06:02Again.
06:03Again.
06:04I'll be alone from six to eight.
06:06Yeah.
06:06Again.
06:07We'll get a sitter.
06:11Don't think of it that way.
06:13Think of the nice...
06:13Well, you can tell Russ isn't thinking about it that way.
06:16Look at that face.
06:18There's one where they're both looking at him, and he just looks...
06:22It's further in.
06:24Like they're both looking at...
06:25Oh, yeah.
06:30He's like, I'm sorry.
06:34Poor Russ.
06:35Russ works a lot of hours.
06:37Russ does.
06:37Better get to that gym, too, Russ.
06:39You'd have to watch it back.
06:41Does she touch her belly when she talks about the guitarist?
06:43That's what I'm wondering.
06:44You know?
06:44She's touching it the whole time.
06:46Okay, okay.
06:46She's the baby kicking.
06:47Calm down.
06:48It's not horny.
06:49No.
06:50Whenever she thinks of him, she has to touch...
06:52Oh, my God.
06:53Because that's his child.
06:54That's my child.
06:54God, that kid moved in eight months ago.
06:57He's a man.
06:58All right.
06:59Relax, everybody.
07:01Oh, boy.
