The Curse of Oak Island Season 13 Episode 25
Transcript
00:00positive oh check this out this is strange this came from 200 feet in the money pit
00:05that's incredible oh yeah oh you got it oh my gosh oh wow it's treasure from the money pit
00:12spoils that's amazing yeah and it's ours
00:19there is an island in the north atlantic where people have been looking for an incredible
00:25treasure for more than 200 years so far they have found a stone slab with strange symbols carved
00:33into it man-made workings that date to medieval times and a lead cross whose origin may be connected
00:41to the knights templar to date six men have died trying to solve the mystery and according to
00:50legend one more will have to die before the treasure can be found
01:10hello guys it's a new day so i'm optimistic here in money pit one terry remind me what depth we
01:16finished at yesterday finished up at 138 okay winter is fast approaching on oak island which
01:22means the year will soon come to an end for rick marty and their team but as they excavate a
01:29key
01:29target in the money pit area they may have all the time they need to solve a 231 year old
01:36mystery
01:38just about 12 to 20 feet short of the actual solution channel top so high hopes we're just
01:43now getting to the most interesting depth and it's only going to get better from here on out and
01:47that's music to my ears because that means there could be artifacts at any level we're going through
01:54the seven foot diameter shaft known as money pit one or mp1 is located in a region where soil and
02:02water
02:03tests for more than 200 feet deep in the solution channel have revealed unnaturally high traces of silver
02:18and even more compelling is the fact that those silver levels match the composition of the so-called
02:25pit blado coin a 14th century silver coin reportedly extracted from the original money pit in 1849 by
02:34drilling foreman named james pit blado big signal here mate
02:52is that it yeah
03:01well piece of drill pipe piece of drill but looks about two inches yeah it's a little bigger than
03:07that inch and a half stuff so it's a little different isn't it good okay we're interested
03:12to see how old that is yeah well that was an interesting go what'd you find two inch pipe two
03:18inch
03:19pipe yeah so the last time we found two inch pipe out here that dated in the lab to mid
03:241800s right
03:25we figured it may be connected to the pit blado incident right yeah i think this is more of that
03:30same pipe yeah earlier this year as the team was core drilling just a few feet from this location
03:38they recovered an identical piece of drill pipe that was scientifically dated to the same era as james
03:44big play-doh's drilling operation we are chasing the collapse of the money pit so it's possible that
03:50we are in the vicinity of the original money pit exactly it's an interesting artifact hey guys hey
03:57good morning how you doing well we're 151 right we're going to push pretty hard here on this these next
04:04few uh turns sounds good everything from here on out is going to be good for us i think yeah
04:10good
04:10okay guys thank you for the update yeah see you mark onward and downward for sure
04:16target depth's about 215 we just gotta get down there as the dig continues in the mp1 shaft
04:26hey laird Fiona i got my support troops here today they sure do yeah marty brings rick to the mysterious
04:32stone cradle on lot eight to update him on a potentially important recent discovery so rick i dug a
04:40trench over there to see if there was something underneath it what if it covered a tunnel yeah
04:46then i dug down to bedrock yeah you both observed i was pounding on it the teeth were
04:52scraping and you were hitting it directly yeah after the team previously found evidence of both silver
04:59and a possible shaft buried below the mysterious cradle of stones marty dug a trench to the side of it
05:06in search of a possible tunnel however he was surprised to reach bedrock just six feet down
05:14which is at a shallower depth than the cradle feature here's where you come in ian laird never
05:21hit bedrock in the stone cradle it's as if this was dug through the bedrock right topographic change
05:27of rock over a short distance isn't something i've experienced anywhere mm-hmm it's impossible to be
05:34more surprised than we were to find that rock cradle it's intentional it's purposeful so i think
05:40there's more work to be done to come to an understanding of what this is is there something
05:44under here we need to find out the lot eight feature represents one of the most enigmatic finds
05:50on the island and feeling alert of taking the time to uncover the cradle but we're going to run out
05:57of
05:57time here there's there's no question about it perhaps we need to take a different approach
06:03well if we want to know how far bedrock is there the only thing i can think of is basically
06:08a hammer
06:09drill if you want to keep on going down down down here you need like a pneumatic hammer drill yeah
06:14yeah a hammer drill would work often utilized in masonry a hammer drill is a power tool that
06:23simultaneously rotates and hammers an attached auger bit into a hard surface such as stone or concrete
06:30the percussive motion allows the drill to penetrate denser objects more efficiently than a standard drill
06:38and it wouldn't shake and vibrate the cradle no doesn't shake doesn't do anything just check it
06:42it's more that i'm thinking of shaking the rocks loose that i don't wish to come loose yeah
06:46what do you think no it sounds good yeah
06:50you know if we're not finding the bedrock i think we need to keep on going just in case there's
06:55a
06:55shaft or a tunnel underneath here i mean while we're here we should get it done no we don't want
07:00to do it invasively and destructively but i think to your point i'd like to know where bedrock me too
07:05rick i mean both of you have said that many many times you know is there something hiding under here
07:11let's do this for right now we don't have the right equipment right now let's go talk to billy and
07:14see
07:18we get to the bottom of this all right see you later meanwhile hey katya hi steve how's it going
07:26here really good this area has just been amazing for us we're digging through a lot of the old spoils
07:32from old searchers steve guptill joins katya drayton and billy gerhardt several yards south of the money
07:40pit area to search the so-called dunfield spoils these are several mounds of earth that were excavated
07:48from the money pit by robert dunfield in 1965 during his unsuccessful effort to recover the treasure
07:57it could be quite exciting today let's find some treasure yeah let's find something yep
08:03robert dunfield's efforts to conduct his big dig
08:06uh certainly pushed in a lot of spoils piles in the money pit down the hill and they were never
08:13really investigated for clues to the area we are now intent on exploring so the hope is that we will
08:19find artifacts that will help us unravel what happened in the money pit long ago
08:32oh you got a hit that sounds really good it sounds really good
08:38oh it's small too hand on ferris right here yep all right where would you like it anywhere in front
08:46of
08:46me is fine
08:51that's good now we'll give it a little pinpoint in the hole see if we can find it
09:00oh i'm on it oh you got it oh my gosh
09:08it's very clean what is that i mean the things that really don't corrode are precious metals
09:17while searching spoils that were removed from the money pit by treasure hunters more than 60 years
09:22ago i think that we just found a silver coin oh wow katya has just made a potentially critical
09:30discovery i've learned that when you don't have what do you call the beveled edges milled edges
09:35milled edges yes okay so that dates back to older much in the late 17th century
09:43sir isaac newton who also served as the master of the royal mint of england was the first to design
09:50coins with milled edges this was done in order to combat counterfeiting now you know you can see
09:57something written on the edge there could that mean that this silver coin may date back to the 1600s
10:04or even earlier we've been looking for silver in the money for a long time and based on what dr
10:10spooner has shown us there is a bunch of silver up there somewhere could be a whole bunch of that
10:15somewhere right i should run that back to the lab i agree good fine got you thank you later that
10:22day
10:24is there a vault below here or something this could tell us rick marty craig and other members of the
10:31team arrive at the man-made depression on lot eight dubbed the stone cradle
10:38laird as long as he's in that square area he can drill multiple holes oh yeah absolutely in our world
10:44it's transitioned from archaeology to geology so when you bring it up we'll get the sample
10:49start your engines laird is allowing the team to punch a three-foot hole in the bottom of the
10:55cradle with a hammer drill to collect new soil samples and look for evidence of man-made workings
11:02buried deeper below that's going there he goes what if we just don't even encounter the bedrock at all
11:11that would tend to mean something and whatever might be interesting is deeper yet that went down quite
11:17far it doesn't seem like it's bedrock well we're about to find out trade spots and i'll take that sample
11:29it's pretty gritty
11:33that's enough but look at the color in that it doesn't look like bedrock to me okay well let's drill
11:40a boulder that has slate and see how yeah let's see what the difference is and we see what the
11:44cuttings
11:45look like and the penetration rate and all that stuff in order to be sure that they have not
11:49drilled through the slate bedrock beneath the cradle feature the team will now drill into a nearby
11:55boulder that is also composed of slate this will allow them to see if the drill experiences the same
12:02kind of resistance
12:09a little bit harder it's kind of what i thought that's not bedrock no
12:17i bet you the uh bit's heating up a lot more than it did as well i would touch that
12:20bit
12:22the conclusion has to be that it's not on bedrock is there a feature or or a void or a
12:29tunnel or a
12:29shaft underneath the cradle or close by okay here's what we can be certain of we're not done with this
12:37i agree not that we get an answer of all the frustrating archaeological weights we have had to
12:44endure this one is the most aggravating i thought by the end of this year we would have figured it
12:49out
12:50but we have it the archaeologists are incredibly protective of the site for good reasons but i really
12:57like to know what's at the bottom of it because i know there's a good chance of something really
13:01interesting well i think it's good that it gives us a little bit of time to actually do some research
13:05on this as well and we certainly know it's purposeful and extremely significant well let's
13:11run with that in the meantime we will leave you to it for now thanks okay let's go okay thank
13:17you guys
13:17thank you after finishing their work on lot eight watch your back i'm gonna shake dylan just watch so
13:26while the dick proceeds in the mp1 shaft welcome back to the lab everybody emma's ready with some data
13:34members of the team meet to receive a scientific report on the believed silver coin found near the
13:40money pit area well right off the bat i'm just going to confirm that it is silver solid silver it's
13:47a silver alloy what did you get what percent 87 oh that's good enough for me yeah that's a silver
13:56coin
13:56it's a silver coin yeah what do you make of that it is very worn um it took a lot
14:02of effort to get a
14:03good image in the ct scan what you're seeing on the screen right now is all that remains on the
14:10coin
14:10so you have the back of the head which is very clearly remaining you have a very clear mvs and
14:19then
14:19some lettering over here wow which is great for identification so this is an overlay of the ct image
14:27on top of the coin that i found on the coin database oh yes you can certainly see that
14:35and i got an exact match with the six pence uh william the third wow really so it's english that's
14:44amazing yeah and that all aligns with this coin right there and you can see the ribbon perfectly yeah
14:53oh yeah now that you show that i can see it right in the coin yep cool what date are
15:01you putting on
15:01this so the date range is 1697 to 1701 oh what date are you putting on this so the date
15:13range is 1697 to
15:151701 wow it's so significant that is a full hundred years before discovery of the money pit
15:23i think it's great yeah in the lab emma has confirmed that a silver coin found in the dunfield spoils
15:30is more than three centuries old common people weren't carrying silver this probably wasn't a worker no
15:38somebody of means right yeah a hundred years before the money pit was discovered is a heck
15:44of a long time a very long time that's a big deal these late 1600 dates lead you one of
15:51two places
15:51either that's the time of the depositor or searchers that were searching before the money pit was
15:56discovered bottom line this is a silver coin and i would call it a piece of treasure i think it's
16:02an
16:02incredibly important discovery but just like almost everything we've found all over the island
16:07continues to provide partial answers and then pose a lot more questions we found a silver treasure
16:14coin and money pit spoils on oak island it's treasure from the money pit spoils it's silver it's it's it's
16:23ours it's the end of the year and we're hoping to find more coins or a chest or a keg
16:30full of the
16:31portuguese treasure coins but it validates the reason why we're here i'm not willing to give up on
16:37solving the mystery i mean we say it all the time sempre avanti you you do not stop very cool
16:44a big well done to everybody involved all right let's go see you later thank you no problem
16:53as a new day begins on oak island guys hey guys the two gentlemen we want to see where are
17:00we how deep
17:02so we're about at 195 depth good stuff 195 got it rick and other members of the team monitor the
17:09progress of the mp1 shaft which has now reached the solution channel just hoping to find one thing
17:18you're working on it we'll keep you updated thank you thank you appreciate it yes sir
17:26go over there find something a lot of muck and mud yeah got something
17:34a signal right there
17:46it's in here whatever it looks like a heavy chunk of metal yeah don't know what it is
17:52until it's washed off so what's it this is a piece of twisted metal from the mp1 spoils at the
18:00moment but when it goes back to the lab maybe emma runs scans and tell us it's something completely
18:07different there's a lot of stuff caked on it for sure this could be some kind of bladed tool
18:15because i don't know because i see a curve on it see if the other guys can make head and
18:19the tails
18:20with it it's very heavy whatever it is it's been down there a long time this is really really hard
18:27it's been on there for a long time let's bag it terry i don't know what it is but it
18:32certainly has the
18:33appearance of being old thank you
18:39find some more
18:47yeah that is strange
18:49good morning billy yep
18:55check this out i watched it and i see this oh yeah what do you think it is that sure
19:02looks like
19:03the exotic wood why why'd you say it the colors on it really and the curve that shouldn't be here
19:10oh
19:11this is strange this linearity and that staining it could be palm tree yeah we don't know where
19:19that's from i mean we're on an island and we know people have traveled from a long way away to
19:24this
19:24island by boat you know it'd be really cool if you're right gary come from 200 feet in the money
19:29pit
19:29that's incredible this is wood from the bottom of the solution channel and wood should not be at this
19:38depth unless it were pushed down from above get a bag meter put it in the bag we need to
19:44talk to
19:45experts if this is an exotic wood it would lend credence to an old world ship coming to the new
19:51world
19:54all right let's take a look at this let's get stuck in the year has come to an end we're
20:00within a few
20:01hammer grabs of being done and i hope we find the one thing or solve the mystery or find the
20:07treasure
20:07i still have every fiber of my being believes that oak island is real the mystery is real
20:14i want to know what happened here
20:19a lot of rounded stuff
20:27oh no solid it's we're probably getting very close to the bottom yeah
20:34hey guys hey how you doing we're on bedrock bottom of the hole okay what are the final numbers 210
20:44okay
20:47we gave it a good shot man we did 100 we did
20:53we should all be quite proud of what we all did oh yeah
20:57i love the fact that the money pit even though it denies us answers
21:03at the end of the day we walk away with our heads up a lot thank you guys thank you
21:12sometimes you get the ball across the goal line and sometimes you don't
21:15but we did learn some things and we made some discoveries which may be impactful as we delve into
21:21them you can't deny the science there is silver at depth down in the solution channel i'm not willing to
21:30give up till we find it
21:38you know this is the last case on yeah good news is that it was a technical success the concept
21:47of the
22:00we didn't find it well you know rick i agree it sounds like proof of concept is there we know
22:08what
22:08can happen but we missed and we were both hoping for the one thing being found here and that one
22:13thing being distinctly treasure right but if we think about the year in its totality i think there's
22:21a lot to be proud of i think there's a lot to be happy about yeah well rick you know
22:26thank you for
22:27the news i'll digest it actually i've been meaning to mention this to you uh dr spooner has an idea
22:34on how we could refine and maybe understand what's really going on in the money pit area and where
22:41that treasure still could be so we all need to assemble in the war room right we'll let him present
22:46his idea and i think you'll like it okay nope all right see ya welcome to everybody we have reached
22:55the end of this year's exploration which makes this a last meeting hello terry and derek hello
23:01party i think a good place to start is with this heat map that steve made some time ago to
23:08update it
23:08for this year's efforts the idea is to say where are the spots we have found artifacts earlier this
23:17year surveyor steve guptill created a so-called heat map it illustrates where the team has made their
23:23most significant discoveries noting their approximate dates of origin by using different colors
23:30so far we've found about 800 artifacts island wide laird is his own team they find hundreds more than
23:35that we found about 1200 artifacts this year and then let me go over the hot areas most of the
23:40artifacts that you see are from the last two years if it's in the 1700s i've been clicking orange
23:46a little bit earlier than that i click pink blue is 1800s to now yeah let me turn off every
23:53color except
23:54pink wow there's an overwhelming amount of evidence that shows that people were here earlier than we
24:02originally believed it's almost indisputable that there was island-wide activity to a fairly large scale
24:11that's significant is it not it is significant yeah we just need to know who and why and when
24:18yeah and what they were doing yeah well we also know that the lot eight boulder was moved and looking
24:25up there on the heat map that would have had to be work that was done earlier that's a huge
24:30anomaly
24:31that's a great segue to go to lot eight and to me this boulder came out of nowhere this year
24:36something rather significant had to happen here laird is there anything like it in nova scotia that
24:42you know i haven't found anything like it in north america i think it's much older i would not be
24:48surprised if it got us into the 1200 range the team was stunned to discover a 40 000 pound boulder
24:56on lot
24:56eight this year that was covering the cradle of stones and a potential shaft deeper below it however
25:02prior to that they had found two curious artifacts on the lot one a lead bag seal that may date
25:10back
25:10some 700 years and the other was a copper artifact with symbols that may be connected to the knight's
25:17templar well and rick you've got some white that you can shed on the lot eight boulder from that trip
25:22to the azores yes we wanted to find if there is some evidence that the templars or associated groups in
25:30the
25:301300s needed to safeguard a treasure via the azores prior to coming to oak island we went to a megalithic
25:40site and on the way up the hill i just noticed a huge stone but it had slots carved into
25:45it and to
25:47me it was so similar to the spacing and the lot eight boulder that rock has a big void to
25:57me purposely
25:58built underneath it which brings me to what scott did yesterday so yesterday we went out and got
26:04a large hammer drill three foot long corbett and when we drilled in there we didn't find bedrock
26:10okay well here's what's certain there's a lot more work to do on this boulder on lot eight including
26:16digging underneath it there still could be a tunnel there could be a shaft well there could be treasure
26:21there could be treasure gary we need to completely eliminate any question as to what might have been
26:27done underneath that boulder but let's shift over to lot five which has been hugely significant so we
26:34have this feature which became two features which became three features this year the team made a
26:41number of new discoveries in the rounded stone foundation near the shore on lot five that suggest
26:46it was occupied by different groups over different periods prior to the discovery of the money pit
26:53these include a folded coin meant to represent a religious symbol of protection that may be more
26:59than 300 years old they also found a decorative lead artifact that may date back more than 700 years
27:08and in just the last month they began investigating what was previously thought to be a modern well
27:14just a few yards away but after digging next to it they discovered evidence that it is a much larger
27:21feature and may be connected to the rounded foundation and my understanding there it wasn't just a domicile
27:29something different than that correct we've always looked for the camp if there was this tremendous
27:36activity at the money pit it would have taken men and animals and support structures and all kinds of
27:42stuff and maybe lot five is what we've been looking for we have evidence here that substantiates that
27:47that we have possibly found a road that might be a a way to move the treasure here on oak
27:53island the sand
27:54road and again it leads us down a path of discovery in the swamp the sand road potentially changes the
28:01whole island
28:04while excavating the western side of the swamp still sandy the team was surprised to uncover
28:10a sand-covered cobblestone road that was lined with eight-sided wooden survey stakes and as they kept
28:17exposing the mysterious feature they found signs that it may run through the center of the island toward lot
28:24five as well as through the swamp toward the believed portuguese stone road i find the sand road really
28:34interesting now we were always looking for a connection between the money pit and lot five and perhaps the
28:40sand road is the connection that it could lead literally to a place where treasures deposited
28:48good excellent the sand road could lead literally to a place where treasures deposited exactly
28:59i love this little ox shoe that was found along that path i only mean one thing and that's all
29:05in
29:06we thought that the portuguese stone road that we call it was a big job well you know look at
29:10the length of
29:11this thing they might be the same thing right this sand road is a continuation of center road that means
29:18that it's there much earlier than we first thought agreed and so we have these in front of us are
29:24what we
29:24believe to be a hand cannon and four stone shots these two are from previous years they're both from the
29:32azores but then this year we find two more actually derek found them on the wash plant and here's the
29:38ultimate point no country significant was using them after about 1450 so what are those doing on oak
29:45island it really i think is one of the most concrete dates we have when the team first uncovered a
29:52section
29:53of the sand road in the swamp this year look at that they also found part of an early firearm
29:58known as
30:00a hand cannon but that is unusual it was a curious find given that they have now also discovered four
30:07pieces of stone shot three of which were unearthed in the money pit area it's a very interesting piece
30:14and during the team's recent trip to the azores islands the hand cannon were common in the 1300s yes
30:21portuguese archaeologist tiago rodriguez affirmed that these artifacts may not only date back to the 14th
30:29century but could also be of portuguese origin is this enough to prove a pre-columbian voyage no but
30:37it's a good indication and a good sign of treasure because you'd need guns and ammo if you're putting
30:44a large treasure in the money pit yeah and so finally conceptually we arrive at the money pit did a
30:52lot of
30:52work there and what got us very excited is this right here this is the fabled piplato coin so this
31:01coin turns out to be a 1369 to 1371 portuguese coin extremely rare and very valuable and of course that
31:12got us all really excited including me who is fixed on treasure more than story
31:17a chest of these would be worth just that would be worth an enormous fortune and it did apparently
31:22come out of the money pit so we got real excited about this and then we chased the theory of
31:29all
31:30right there was a treasure in the money pit and the treasure fell into the solution channel
31:35and scientific evidence to show that it's still down there exactly so it got us all enthused and we
31:40were able to get canisters down into the solution channel yeah we found lots of things that shouldn't
31:46have been in the solution channel my analysis of that is that it was proof of concept and proves the
31:52theory that stuff could fall down in there we weren't successful in finding the treasure but we all still
31:58think it's here because of your work ian and dr fred because of the metals in the water i i
32:04know you have
32:04a potentially new method that we could zero in and maybe find the treasure yep can you bring the group
32:10up to speed on that yeah a little while ago dr michael suggested we're having problems with water
32:17water moves around gets diluted so fred suggests why don't we look at wood because it has the ability
32:23to soak up metal just like a water filter would soak up metal from water and the wood's much better
32:28at
32:29soaking up metals than water and i think we just need to do more work with the wood the wood's
32:34at its
32:34early stages and we got the data back results from like 15 sort of random samples so if you've just
32:41done the tests now where did you get the wood to test we got it from the outside of logs
32:47and planks
32:49that were in various tunnels and shafts throughout the money pit and something did show up in shaft 2a
32:57which is i think the unknown shaft we're getting up the first ever searcher shaft on oak island in 2024
33:07the oak island team began uncovering a feature that they believed to be an early 19th century
33:12searcher shaft known as shaft 2 which according to historical records was located 14 feet southeast of the
33:21original money pit i tend to think it's two different shafts however during the excavation
33:27they discovered another undocumented shaft some 10 feet to the northeast that they dubbed
33:33shaft 2a this made them wonder whether they found an old shaft built by treasure hunters or perhaps
33:41treasure depositors so in shaft 2a the wood sample from shaft 2a we had the highest amount of silver we've
33:49ever seen and also i think the third highest level of gold so in shaft 2a we had the highest
34:01amount
34:02of silver we've ever seen and also i think the third highest level of gold great there you go that's
34:09pretty exciting right it's another direct indication of treasure isn't it with that result if we have this
34:14kind of silver high silver we've seen something like 2a that could mean that there's silver very very
34:19close to where that wood is after testing numerous samples of wood that the team has unearthed in the
34:27money pit area over the years dr spooner has found new evidence of buried silver in the mysterious shaft
34:34known as 2a a structure located more than 30 feet northeast of where they detected precious metals in the
34:42solution channel dr spooner how do you reconcile the silver that we're finding in the wood from 2a and
34:51the silver that we're finding in the solution channel maybe what we're looking at here is um a variety of
34:58sources or multiple deposits yep this is getting interesting multiple treasures there's a possibility
35:05sure wow what i'm proposing is we take a much more detailed look at uh metals in the wood dr
35:12spooner's
35:13latest report perhaps proves the worthiness of the idea of testing the wood in several of the shafts
35:19it certainly introduces new possibilities that we're chasing after multiple treasures in oak island
35:25this is pretty much a no-brainer let's continue this yep so yes proceed please tell us where the treasure
35:31is we're ready do my best well i just think it's a very productive year we've had some major finds
35:40the boulder on lot eight the sand road in the swamp right it just seems like oak island has its
35:46secrets
35:47and we've uncovered some yeah so i want to thank you and i think we had a great year yep
35:52so i thought a
35:54long time about how i would like to close here today and i thought a good way to do that
35:58might be to
35:59use a symbol gary right here in me top pocket top pocket find a top pocket find and uh it's
36:10this this is one ounce of pure gold it appropriately has the canadian maple leaf on it and here's the
36:16pure gold i would like to find and we have found pure gold here from the people of canada from
36:22the
36:22people of nova scotia and certainly the people in this room and if we are moving caissons around next
36:29year instead of these poker chips we're going to move this maple leaf around to decide where to dig
36:35and hopefully find the treasure yeah yep it goes without saying how important you have all become
36:43to me we're a family because the experience here is only as wonderful as it is because of each and
36:52every one of you without you without each of you these past years of my life would have been
37:01far less rich the treasure in the story are like brothers they're together right but the real treasure
37:11really is each and every one of you this is the true treasure in life that we share now 100
37:20we are very
37:23grateful to be a part of your passion and share it with you we would not be here if you
37:30did not share your
37:32dream not only with us but the world thank you thank you yeah yeah well said i agree absolutely yep
37:40the thank you that craig expressed the thank you that marty expressed the thank you that i'm
37:45expressing is heartfelt it is genuine and it is important emiliano why don't you close out the day
37:51thank you all thanks everybody thank you the year on oak island has come to an end her legendary secrets
38:10remain unknown look at the enormity of the fines look at the early dates thanks mark we have written
38:17maybe not the answer to the oak island mystery what we have added chapters upon chapters of information
38:24goodbye all however rick marty craig and their team have proved one thing the quest for answers
38:33to this 231 year old mystery is well worth the pursuit my whole life been curious about things very very
38:40curious about things gets me in trouble sometimes oh it's another good year yep always bittersweet isn't it
38:46how can we have found so many inexplicable things in one year so there's many reasons that would make me
38:51come back here to find this treasure we have to be close to the end game don't we so far
38:58they have
38:59found more than 2 000 artifacts and numerous man-made structures predating the discovery of the money pit
39:08some by as much as 800 years and they have obtained mounting scientific evidence
39:15that treasure really may lie buried all across the island
39:21so next year when they return they will build upon all they have learned and revealed
39:30to solve the mystery and like a year where we said you know what
39:36we did it we did it that moment has not come but that is still my hope i won't relent
39:43i quite stubborn in that
39:44way
39:45so
39:45so
39:48so
39:49so
