00:39So, you know, I think I'll see half of the money before taxes and then I probably only see half

00:47So it's not as crazy as it sounds, but it's still astounding.

01:31I haven't I haven't figured out like where I'm going to live and if I'm going to buy, if I'm
01:36going to rent, what what can I do?
01:39I know I'm going to stay out in South Africa because there's a lot of work to do still with
01:43the charity and all.
01:44And I love it here.
01:44I have such a great friend group here.
01:46Um, so my my first thing is figuring out where I'm going to stay.

01:53Again, everything's been in storage since like September.
01:57So I need I need all my stuff out of storage.

02:01How are you doing in that regard?
02:03I know I know you had been separated from your estranged husband since September, right?
02:09Yeah.
02:09And then filed for divorce like recently.
02:13Yeah.
02:13Well, yeah, the the actual filing just happened because we had to come to a settlement first and it works.
02:21I think it works a bit different here and it was better if we didn't come to a settlement first.
02:26It could be tied up in court for 10 years.
02:28So how are you feeling?
02:30I mean, it's obviously navigating a divorce, even if, you know, you you came to this place and this is
02:35what you want.
02:36I'm sure it's complicated emotionally.
02:38Yeah, no, it was from September to the end of March.
02:43At least it was really, really, really difficult.
02:47It was very emotional and figuring out how to restart everything and kind of just starting from scratch, to be
02:54honest.
02:54So it was, well, now what?
02:58But then, you know, once once the settlement was signed and I could launch this platform and kind of move
03:06forward and start moving to my next chapter.
03:09Yeah.
03:10It's like the weight was lifted from me and things are just moving now.
03:14And it's it's that fire horse energy that we're in this year.
03:17Yeah.
03:18It's like we wait for the fire horse to pick up.
03:20And now I feel like it's here.
03:22Well, I'm really happy for you and the fact that you get to start this new chapter, which is proving
03:28to be amazing so far.
03:30And a new house, new memories, new energy, new all of those things, I think is going to be really
03:35great.
03:36Um, do you ever foresee yourself going back to acting or has that chapter closed?
03:41Absolutely.
03:41No, the chapter closed.
03:44It never closed.
03:45It might have seemed that way because I left Hollywood.
03:47But I mean, just because I'm physically not there, a lot of actors are physically not there now.
03:53And I mean, that's kind of what's what's so great in this day and age is you don't have to
03:57live there to be an actor because filming is all over the world now.
04:02People go everywhere for their projects.
04:05And, um, I love acting and I, I, I mean, I miss, I miss it when I'm not on set.
04:11And when I am on set, I'm like, oh yeah, I remember why I loved acting so much.
04:16And so I'm, I'm actually hoping that this allows me to like be able to choose projects in a different
04:25way because now I'm doing projects that aren't necessarily because I need the money.
04:30Totally.
04:31It's because I love the project and I really want to be a part of the, the cast and the
04:36crew and like, I want to move more into directing and producing as well.
04:40So I'm hoping that this gives me that, that opportunity to look at things in that, in that light.
04:46So yeah, no, I'm, I'm really looking forward to continuing the acting and, and what could come next.

04:57And that's really cool how you have this financial freedom to make creative choices that align with what you want
05:05in that aspect of your life.

05:08Yeah, no, I'm really excited about, you know, the next 15, 20 years of my life.

05:15And longer, like who knows what could happen, but you know, everyone says, as you get older, you move into
05:22like new chapters of your life and things kind of, they might go darker for a while and then they
05:28lighten up and things are good.
05:30And I feel like that's kind of what's happened is like, now I'm in that next chapter of my life
05:35where, you know, it feels like you can conquer the world.
05:39Like, you know, what, what do we want to create?
05:42What do we want to do?
05:43And, um, it's just exciting to explore what's possible.
05:48So you've been on the platform for three weeks.
05:50Have you gotten any unhinged requests in those three weeks?
05:57No, I haven't.
05:58We haven't set it up so that I'm getting requests yet, but I am going to open it up to
06:03requests.
06:04But being able to connect with my fans in that personal one-on-one way has been absolutely incredible.
06:11The journey on OnlyFans has been nothing but amazing.
06:15The fans have overwhelmed me with love and support.
06:21And I just, I never expected it to be like this.
06:24And I just couldn't ask for anything more.
06:26I, I didn't know if anybody would, would care or would come or would like join me there.
06:33But they have.
06:34And I'm just overwhelmed with happiness.
06:37I know you said that you're not 100% sure about what will and won't be off limits with regard
06:42to the content that you post on OnlyFans.
06:44Which is fair.

06:46You're just figuring things out.
06:47Do you have a mental hard line that you will not cross?
06:52I mean, yeah, probably.
06:57Yeah, there's some, like, there's some lines I probably won't cross.
07:00But as far as, like, what I am crossing now, it's, you know, it's, I think it's a moving target.
07:07It's changing because as, as I get a good response from people, it makes me want to share more of
07:14my life and to, to give them, you know, what, what they're hoping for within my own boundaries.
07:22So I don't know.
07:23I mean, it's, it's been fun and exciting.
07:25And I think we'll see as we go, because I really don't know at this point.
07:30When did you start thinking about joining OnlyFans?
07:33My manager, Joe Reitman, came to me and he started talking to me about it probably in November.
07:40Because I was shooting a film up in Canada and he came up there with me.
07:45And we, we started chatting about, you know, kind of what was next.
07:49Because obviously I've been going through a divorce and so we were just talking about next chapters.
07:54And he, he put this out there and we just started talking about it and thinking about it and talking
08:02to people.
08:03And, and here we are.

08:05So this was post split from your now estranged husband.
08:10Yes.

08:11I was wondering if this was something you had like wanted to do during your marriage and that that might
08:18have been a point of contention, but it sounds like that's not the case.
08:21No, that's not the case.
08:22I never, I never really explored what it was before, to be honest.
08:28I'd heard about it in passing, but I didn't really know anything about it.
08:33I feel like the last nine years since I've been out in South Africa, I've just been so focused on
08:38my charity that I haven't paid a lot of attention to all the new platforms that are available.
08:45And even the things people were doing during COVID, because we were still working every day during COVID on charity
08:53stuff, on the sanctuary, on everything we were doing.
08:56And so I didn't, I didn't feel like I was in lockdown in a sense, because we were still working.
09:02I mean, I'm a workaholic anyway, and the work went on.
09:07So I didn't really, I didn't really like look into all the things people were doing during lockdown to pass
09:17their time or play, play games with friends or anything.
09:21I barely remember it like that, actually.
09:24Wow.

09:25You had such a different experience during the pandemic.
09:28Yeah.
09:28I mean, we were locked down.
09:30We couldn't go anywhere.
09:31But I mean, if I told you the amount of days that I just sit in my office on the
09:36computer anyway, doing work, like, it was kind of like, this is as usual, almost like.
09:42Yeah.
09:43Yeah, it was, you just couldn't leave the house.
09:46I mean, we weren't, where I was, we weren't even allowed to walk our dogs outside.
09:49So it was pretty intense.
09:51Oh, my God.
09:53Speaking of, and this one, did you see he was like, what?
09:56Yeah, he's so cute.
09:58He's like, what?
09:58No, that could never happen.
10:00There was a guy with two big huskies in my estate, and he wasn't allowed to walk them.

10:07It's like, there's no way.

10:09You have to.

10:10And you're obviously such a big animal lover, supporter, advocate.
10:16Do you, does part of you feel like this new venture, which is proving to be very lucrative for you,
10:21do you feel like this is also just a way to continue your efforts in terms of, like, conservation?
10:28Absolutely.
10:29This is a way to spread the word about the work that I'm doing.
10:33It's a way for me to connect with fans, obviously, but now I can also talk about my charity.
10:38I can also allocate certain things that I'm doing on the platform to all go to charity.
10:44So that's what I'm going to be doing.
10:46We put, like, sets of photos and stuff up there, and I'm going to allocate quite a few where I
10:54say everything from this set goes to charity, goes to my charity.
10:57That is so cool.

11:01It's exciting for me to have another avenue of fundraising because, you know, just asking for donations, it's not sustainable,
11:10and it's not what people want to do anymore.
11:13We have to find something that's more sustainable, that's more business-oriented, almost, you know, creating companies that fund the
11:20nonprofit work.
11:22So this is a better way than me just asking for handouts.
