00:00Now it's to sit down with some of the cast from Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
00:03Hi, everyone.
00:05After almost two decades, Jersey Shore is saying goodbye with its final season on MTV.
00:10The show and you have changed so much over the years,
00:14but the heart of it since season one has remained.
00:17Why do you think that is?
00:18We just really became a real family over time.
00:21So in the beginning, we were just our authentic selves.
00:24And you don't really see that on TV a lot.
00:26People usually like faking it for the cameras.
00:28And then when we did family vacation, like we were the same people,
00:32except now we're like an actual family.
00:33We go through problems together.
00:35Good times, bad times.
00:37That's what makes me sick.
00:38Because somebody wrote me that note and nobody can open up their mouth.
00:41What were some goals you may have had when you first kicked this thing off back in the day?
00:45I think we just wanted to party at the shore.
00:47Yeah, like when we were young.
00:49It was a free house.
00:50I just wanted to pick up girls at the shore.
00:53We were at the shore.
00:53I was going to say we just wanted to party at the shore.
00:55I wanted to be like a local celebrity.
00:58Because my girls would talk to me.
00:59I wanted to be a reality star.
01:00Yeah, me too.
01:01They found me on Myspace, which was crazy.
01:03They literally found me because of who I was.
01:05We were Myspace celebrities.
01:07We were.
01:07So we really wanted.
01:08I was on a lot of top eights to be reality stars.
01:11So looking back now, what's some advice you'd give your season one self?
01:15For me, it would be like, this is a TV show.
01:18Because I didn't know.
01:21Like, we thought that we were just going away for the weekend.
01:24And we thought we would go home.
01:26Then they kidnapped us for a month.
01:27Like, wait, we can't go home?
01:29On season one, I just turned 21.
01:32So I feel like I just wanted to go out there and party and have the best time.
01:37Party's here.
01:38But I'd probably tell myself to stop worrying about boys.
01:41There are so many Juices out there.
01:42I'm in like a kid in a candy shop.
01:44And just, like, stop.
01:46I'd probably just tell myself to keep going.
01:48Right?
01:48And to never give up on yourself.
01:50Pay your taxes.
01:51That too.
01:52Go ahead.
01:54With all you've been through with this show,
01:56how would you feel if your kids also wanted to be on reality TV?
01:59I mean, I always say I'm going to support my kids no matter what.
02:01But I would love for my kids to, like, not do mommy's job.
02:05Because I know it does have a lot of negatives.
02:07I wouldn't push them in this direction.
02:09Although it's like, you know, without what we were doing,
02:13they wouldn't have the lives that they have.
02:15I would have to really look in to see what this whole thing was about.
02:18You know?
02:18Exactly.
02:19No love island.
02:20I think no.
02:21No.
02:21I'm going to pee on myself.
02:24Maybe all the kids will get together one day and do a little show.
02:27We'll be chaperones.
02:28I'll be honest with you.
02:29I wouldn't mind that either.
02:31Exactly.
02:32I'll be the producer there.
02:33Just like Nicole said.
02:34We should all be the producer.
02:36Yeah.
02:36When my dads are older, I'm going to say,
02:38have fun, but don't have too much fun.
02:41Like, don't act like mommy.
02:43When she has a lot of drinks.
02:46Speaking of changing course, Mike, you've been on quite the journey.
02:49If it wasn't for this show, how do you think your life would have been different?
02:53I'll be honest with you, I don't know if I can picture myself,
02:56you know, not doing the past 17 years.
02:59My highs, my lows, everything sort of led me to where I am right now,
03:03where I own my own brand of treatment centers.
03:05You know, I save lives.
03:08So I don't think I would change a thing.
03:10He was crazy to film with back then.
03:13And now, like, we never would have thought that he'd be the sober, responsible one.
03:17Yeah.
03:18Designated driver.
03:19Great dad.
03:20So what's next?
03:21More GTL?
03:22Jim Tannen laundry.
03:24This might be the end for MTV, but that's also a beginning as well.
03:29I couldn't picture this being like it and then never working or filming with my roomies,
03:36my friends again.
03:36Like, I just can't see that because it's been our life for so long.
03:39We're looking forward to that next chapter.
03:41Now we're going to try our hand maybe at streaming.
03:43You know, maybe we're going to follow the Kardashian model from,
03:46you know, E to Hulu and now from MTV on to streaming.
03:50No judgment, but it's good TV.
03:52We're going to keep filming until we go to a nursing home.
