Watch this clip where a dramatic standoff unfolds in the wild as a pack of hyenas attempts to steal a freshly made buffalo kill from a pride of lions, triggering an intense and chaotic confrontation.
Nili Gudhka from Nairobi, Kenya recorded the moment as the hyenas surround the carcass, their loud calls echoing as they try to intimidate the lions and take control.
Despite being outnumbered, the lions stand their ground, growling and charging at the hyenas in a fierce display of dominance.
The tension quickly escalates as the lions refuse to back down, launching coordinated attacks that force the hyenas to retreat. After several aggressive exchanges, the pride successfully drives the pack away, reclaiming their hard-earned meal.
Nili said: "You can hear all the hyenas in the video trying to scare off the lions."
