A warning, this story contains details of self-harm and an image of an indigenous person who has died. WA Police have sanctioned six officers over their treatment of a man in their custody, who later died in prison, after the ABC revealed how a constable ignored his threat of suicide. The Aboriginal Legal Service of WA says the punishment is too light, but police say the sanctions were deemed appropriate after a thorough internal investigation.
