00:00You are curious because you're hearing that, well, Austin Booker's going to take the next step.
00:04And Dayo O'Dangbo, we know who Dayo O'Dangbo is, right?
00:07We know who he is from Indianapolis.
00:09We know who he is with the Bears.
00:10And then Ben talking about how they end up on Irish.
00:14You mentioned Shamar Turner.
00:18You know, this is where I say Ben had his fingerprints all over this thing.
00:21Because the Sam Rausch pick is, I think, somebody probably that Ben pounded the table for.
00:30And I'm going to explain why in a second.
00:32But we're going to see how it manifests.
00:36You're basically going to, and I mentioned Andy Reid and Steve Spagnuolo.
00:41Well, Andy said we need to be better defensively because that gives us the best shot for Patrick Mahomes.
00:46I was shocked they didn't draft in Indianapolis a right tackle with one of their two first-round picks.
00:52I was shocked.
00:54They're banking on, and this was an interesting comment, like we need to coach better.
01:00Like, they've got a new defensive line coach in Jeremy Garrett, the Chicago Bears.
01:06Yeah.
01:06And, you know, they're banking on, hey, trust in Dennis Allen.
01:11Like, Dennis Allen had to find ways to manufacture pass rush last year.
01:17And, you know, you can lead the league in takeaways, which covers up and sort of buries a lot of,
01:24you know, mistakes or not mistakes.
01:27I would say like, you know, inadequacies perhaps that you have in the NFL or, you know, things that maybe
01:34don't shine like, you know, a dominant pass rush every down.
01:41But, like, how long can you – are you banking on we're going to outscore people?
01:45Because that's what they did in Detroit, right?
01:47Like, when Ben was the coordinator in Detroit, they outscored the league.
01:52They averaged, I want to say, 33 points a game with Ben and Jared Goff.
01:58It was shocking how good they were offensively.
02:01So, I think the Bears want to score a lot of points.
02:03I think they want to play bully ball offensively.
02:07And I think they're saying, you know, we're going to trust Dennis Allen to manufacture this thing.
02:12And then to hear them say, we're going to coach better, Molly.
02:15Right.
02:15You know, you take what you have and you work with it.
02:18And, you know, I'm not – I'm certainly not downplaying, you know, any player in the NFL is capable.
02:25But, like, how you put this thing together defensively to not address it.
02:29I mean, you added Jordan Vandenberg, a South African, who was a former, by the way, linebacker.
02:38He moved to defensive line when he was in – at Iowa Western, I think it was, community college.
02:45And he's a big dude.
02:46But, like, yeah, I mean, it's going to be interesting because we're kind of in the same conversation we were
02:52last year.
