00:00I think you've got to stop the deep passes.
00:02Drake May is really good, and we already saw Jordan Love,
00:05who is one of the best deep passers in the NFL.
00:09The crazy thing is there's one guy, statistically,
00:11and when you watch the film that's better at going downfield
00:14and hitting these deep passes, finding these one-on-one matchups,
00:18and they have a guy named A.J. Brown who did have feet for hands last week,
00:22but knowing A.J. Brown, he's going to come back,
00:24and he's going to be a guy that wants to really show that he is one of the best.
00:28Yeah, so Drake May, 439 yards of throws traveling 20-plus air yards,
00:35leads the NFL.
00:36No. 2 was Jordan Love.
00:38So that's the context for Drake May.
00:41He loves to throw the ball downfield.
00:43The first three games, not so good.
00:46One touchdown, six interceptions.
00:47We've talked about that in Auseum.
00:49Ten touchdowns, one interception.
00:51He's been doing a great job of going downfield.
00:53So your defensive backs got to cover, right?
00:56And you don't want to take out guys from that defensive backfield to pressure him
01:00because he is good under pressure.
01:02So how are you going to bring pressure then?
01:05It's the gift and the curse of what you're trying to do.
01:08It is the gift and the curse.
01:10Overall depth of target, he is 10.1 yards.
01:13That's first in the NFL.
01:15This guy loves to throw the ball down the field.
01:17They have the banged-up offensive line.
01:19I think that's the thing you have to take advantage of.
01:21Of Dennis Allen is so good at the simulated pressures of confusing offensive lines.
01:26When you see some of these Kyler Gordon sacks, some of them is just because he reminds me
01:30like the Flash or like these speedsters on the show where everybody's moving at like a normal speed
01:34and then they just seem to be going faster than everybody else.
01:37But Dennis Allen created a lot of that because of the confusion he caused with these offensive lines.
01:43And when you've got new guys that aren't in there consistently, aren't communicating consistently,
01:48you can cause some issues even if you know now, okay, that's Kyler Gordon.
01:52I liken it, JP, to back when we used to play against Troy Palomalu.
01:55Now the Patriots are going to have this guy and they're going to say, okay, at all times,
02:00you know where Palomalu is.
02:02At all times, you know where Kyler Gordon is after he comes off a game like that.
