00:00And for the first time, I think, maybe not all season,
00:03but the first time consistently this season,
00:06this team feels like it has Jose Iglesias on it.
00:09You know what I mean?
00:10And I'm not saying that he had any kind of impact as a player,
00:13but there was an impact that he had as an emotional galvanizer.
00:19And it felt like fun.
00:22They have some juice.
00:23Well, it's juice, but it's also, it looks enjoyable.
00:26Yeah.
00:26I think for most of the season, it's felt like, all right,
00:28we got all these guys that are on prove-it deals.
00:32Maybe they'll help us on the margins, Jorge Polanco and Luis Robert Jr.,
00:36even Bo Bichette, even though I think he's in a slightly different category.
00:40But they felt so damn serious.
00:42And then all of a sudden, all these young kids come up, Carson Benz,
00:45when he hits an RBI, the Mets win.
00:48A.J. Ewing, who is just a ridiculous athlete,
00:50even though he struck out in the ninth, you know, in the tenth,
00:53that put him in as the ghost of the Manfred man.
00:55I was happy he struck out.
00:56Because I said, at least he starts the tenth as the Manfred man.
01:00And so it's like, all of a sudden, and then you get Carson Benz getting another hit
01:04right up the middle.
01:05And as soon as the ball leaves this bat and it's not getting caught in the air,
01:08you know the game's over, right?
01:10A.J. Ewing, he's going to get around third and score.
01:12And he did.
01:12And it just, like, he just felt this energy that this youth movement is bringing.
01:17And so, yeah, I get Juan Soto is hurt, but Nick Moravito's on the 40, man.
01:25And he's another one of these kids.
01:27Now, he might not be ready, but I just feel like this youth movement is exactly what they need.
