00:00I'm not giving up on this season.
00:02I still feel the way I felt all along, but they got a hit.
00:06They got a hit.
00:07Otherwise, I'm just sitting here saying, you know, I'm giving you all the,
00:10hey, it's early, it's this, it's that, until they start producing on the field.
00:16Because I don't care about the 12-game losing streak and the history behind that
00:19as far as no team making it.
00:20I don't care about any of that stuff.
00:21You think the guys in the Phillies locker room are feeling that way
00:24with a 10-game losing streak?
00:25I don't even think the Mets players are feeling that way.
00:26They're just looking at it as, we've got to win some games and turn this around.
00:30They don't care about history.
00:31They don't care about 50 years, 60 years, 70 years, 80 years of baseball.
00:34They don't care about the stretches that, because now this stat's getting thrown out there.
00:38Well, the Mets, when they start this bad, here's the records.
00:41Nobody cares about that stuff, because what does that matter?
00:43It has nothing to do with this team.
00:47This team could be better than those teams.
00:49It could be worse.
00:49Who knows?
00:50None of us know.
00:54And I'm sure the players in the locker room are not even paying attention to half of that,
00:58or any of it, because all they're thinking about is getting some hits,
01:02getting some guys on base and winning.
