00:04We want to trade in our city life for some island life

00:07in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

00:14We've been coming here for years on vacation.

00:16And every time we come here, we never want to go home.

00:18And so we're going to sell everything

00:19and try to find a house here.

00:22Our daughter, Macy, is 23, and our son, Cain, is 17.

00:26It's a big risk by selling our house

00:28that we raised the kids in to come here.

00:30And this doesn't work out.

00:32We're kind of priced out to go back to Jersey City.

00:35We can't buy our original house back.

00:36This is what we're trading in our Jersey City life for.

00:40It's definitely a ballsy move.

00:42We're risk-takers.

00:43And as long as it's not too crazy, like buying a house and...

02:47so we can have our friends and family down

02:49and everyone be comfortable.

03:00Well, I definitely want a swimming pool.

03:18We also would like potential for good rental income

03:23and we can cover the cost of the house, like, all year round.

03:25She's going to retire in two years,

03:27and I'm going to continue to work.

03:28Let's buy a property as an income-producing property

03:38What are we thinking for budget?

03:40Two million.

03:41So, I think we could go a little over that.

04:01so it lends to be a little more of a seller's market.

04:20to the north side of St. Thomas, to Peterborg.

04:23It's a peninsula that forms Megan's Bay on one side.

04:25You have really good down-island views on the other side.

04:30it's a waterfront estate.

04:33so it's going to have some really good rental potential.
