00:15That's right, I just named six or seven guys who are all above average hitters in the second half,
00:21and all of them are young.
00:22Colson Montgomery has displayed massive power.
00:25Kyle Teal has been the best of the bunch with a 147 WRC Plus.
00:31You got Chase Mydroth, who's hitting close to 300, displaying great on-base skills with a 383 OBP.
00:38Lenin Sosa's supplanted tons of power, as has Miguel Vargas.
00:43And Edgar Caro is just as solid of a young catcher as they come.
00:46So at least White Sox fans can look towards the future and say,
00:49all right, we got a nucleus of an offense.
00:51And that doesn't even include some of the prospects that they haven't called up yet, right?
00:56Mydroth, Teal, both in that Garrett Crochet deal.
01:00And you also have Colson Montgomery, or excuse me, Braden Montgomery.
01:03So many Montgomerys, all of them great.
01:06Coming up for the White Sox.
01:08So going into next year, we got to figure out the pitching staff.
01:11They have a couple of arms, like Shane Smith, who you know are fun to watch,
01:14but we'll see what that looks like.
01:16The bullpen is obviously a work in progress, but they have a good core of bats.
01:20You get excited about Shane Smith.
01:22You get excited about Hagan Smith getting right in 2026.
01:26You get excited about Noah Schultz getting right and debuting in 2026.
01:30And you get excited about Drew Thorpe coming off the shelf from Tommy John surgery in 2026.
01:35Kyle Teal is the second poster boy to me of this because he had an 881 OPS after the All-Star break.
01:42And in just over 40 games, he's hitting just under 310 with seven homers.
01:47He's raking right now.
01:48And now I'm going to do a dramatic reading.
01:52The home run leaders since the All-Star break.
01:55Kyle Schwarber is number one.
01:58The Philadelphia Phillies slugger has 22 home runs since the All-Star break.
02:01He's pretty good.
02:02Junior Caminero is number two at the Tampa Bay Rays.
02:05He is trending towards 50 homers all of a sudden.
02:07He has 21 home runs since the All-Star break.
02:10He's no Will Wagner, but he's solid.
02:11Tied for third, Shay Langoliers of the Athletics and Colson Montgomery of the Chicago White Sox with 18 home runs.
