00:04The Grammy-winning rapper will now take her final bow as Ziedler this Friday, May 1st,
00:09at the Al Hirschfeld Theater. She had originally been scheduled to remain in the Broadway production
00:14through May 17th. In a statement, Megan reflected on her time with the show, saying, quote,
00:19It's been such an honor to be part of Moulin Rouge, and I've met so many amazing people in this
00:24theater. Y'all work so hard, and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work
00:29ethic, the time, and the effort y'all put into the work. I'm so grateful for the cast and crew
00:34that
00:34made this experience so meaningful. To all the hotties that showed up or planned to attend,
00:39thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey. A replacement performer for the May 2nd
00:45through May 17th run has not yet been announced. Her early departure comes amid a series of personal
00:50and health challenges during the show's run. In April, Megan exited a performance mid-show and was
00:55later hospitalized. A representative said she was treated for extreme exhaustion, dehydration,
01:01fast constriction, and low metabolic levels. She returned to the stage just two days later,
01:06later calling the experience, quote, a real wake-up call and admitting that she had been pushing
01:10herself past her limits. Over the weekend, the rapper also confirmed her split from NBA star
01:16Klay Thompson, citing issues with trust and fidelity. In a statement, Megan said, quote,
01:20trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are
01:26compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move
01:31ahead with peace and clarity. No further details about her early exit have been announced.
