00:00We are now going back again live to Sucre to listen to the statements of the President of the National
00:06Assembly, Jorge Rodriguez.
00:13If they had not come together, discarding egos and differences to search what truly unite us, what unite us is
00:24a tricolor.
00:29And now we are united by the favor of an entire nation to build prosperity, peace, so that all sanctions
00:37end,
00:39so that Venezuela can be part of the world economic, political, cultural scenario without any kind of obstacle.
00:48That's why we are doing this pilgrimage, embracing each other, shaking all hands.
00:54No one should be left behind. Everyone knows I am Chavista, but in Venezuela there is not only Chavista.
01:02In Venezuela there is also people that are part of the opposition, and there are people that are not part
01:07of any side,
01:07and there are people that love football, there are people that love baseball.
01:12And we all have a space here. We are all here with one single call, with one single objective.
01:19The acting president has said it in different locations. It is the moment to put aside differences and hate, and
01:30go to build a future.
01:34They call us monkeys. They call us monkeys. We are all monkeys. We all belong to the primate species. We
01:50are homo sapiens.
01:52They call us monkeys to insult us. Those same people that in Spain are called monkeys, and they know they
02:03are hated, humiliated by those that believe of pure blood in Spain.
02:11Come back home. Stop being in other countries. Venezuelans return to Venezuela. Let's build a true economic prosperity. There is
02:19still much to do.
02:20Yes. It's difficult this stage. Of course it is a difficult stage, but with the few licenses that have been
02:28granted, with the few sanctions that have stopped momentarily,
02:33we can see the economic recovery, what would happen with Venezuela if there weren't one single of the 1,081
02:42sanctions that are currently imposed.
02:45That's why, independently of the way you think, independently if you are a worker, a businessman, a fisherman, a student,
02:51a worker, independently of that,
02:53those sanctions go against you all. And the unity of all of us will achieve that we definitely lift all
03:02sanctions.
03:02And the issues among us will solve us among us. Our differences will solve us among ourselves.
03:08You have an opinion, we have another. But we have all one same objective. Build and maintain peace and prosperity
03:17of Venezuela.
03:19So we are very happy here on April 27th anniversary of the proclamation of Cumaná as a free province.
03:28And we will continue this pilgrimage so that after walking all the national territory, there is only one voice that
03:36is called.
03:37That is the one of prosperity, peace and national union.
03:43Those were the statements of the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Jorge Rodriguez, addressing the people gathered here,
03:51as we were saying,
03:51the secret state as part of the great national pilgrimage for a sanction-free nation, for a nation that consolidates
03:58peace and coexistence for a whole country,
04:01during the call of the acting president, to all Venezuelans come together and work for that single objective, which is
04:10to build a prosperous Venezuela.
