00:06All right so we're around like two-thirds of the way through the year and right before like Q4 hits
00:11when all of the cool tech rolls in for like the holidays for Christmas and stuff I thought I would
00:15do like a best tech so far of 2025 some of the best things that we've seen some of my
00:20personal
00:20favorites it's almost like my top 10 list we will begin with smartphones because it's the things
00:25that we use the most and before we start we do have a bit of a giveaway for one of
00:30the items I
00:31won't spoil who it is so just be sure you're subbed make sure you follow and I will coordinate with
00:35the
00:35winner follow me on one of the social sites that's how I will verify you so two phones the first
00:41one
00:41this might raise some eyebrows but I do have to give Samsung some love for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge
00:48obviously this is their thinnest phone that they've made they were pretty much the first to market in
00:53terms of like thin devices I know in September we'll see that upcoming the rumored iPhone 17 air
01:00other devices in the future will naturally go towards thinner devices but Samsung was the first
01:05to do it it's a really cool device really thin profile especially if you are someone that rocks
01:11their phones naked without a case it feels so nice to hold obviously there's the drawbacks like the
01:16battery it isn't silicon carbon if you're a power user if you are someone that has a lot of screen
01:21on
01:21time you might struggle to get to the end of the day but if you are just someone regularly using
01:26your device this is probably the one that I would go for in the Samsung lineup and at least on
01:31the
01:31flip side the camera which is something that you use the most that is the main one the 200 megapixel
01:35sensor found on the S25 Ultra as well as the Galaxy Z or Z Fold 7 which kind of getting
01:41into folding
01:42phones it's not the Samsung I will still give props to the Honor Magic V5 so my full review of
01:47this
01:48device is coming but if you are in the market for a folding phone once again this has to be
01:53the one
01:53that you're going to try to get your hands on it is the thinnest folding phone on the market and
01:57I feel
01:57compared to say Samsung Honor has just nailed this design for you know several years Samsung is finally
02:02getting up to speed with their foldables game they are a similar profile similar sort of thinness but
02:08the way that this looks in my opinion it's just the most premium this don gold colorway the fact that
02:13the camera bump although it's large you don't get that really weird wiggle or wobble like you do with
02:18the Fold 7 unlike the Samsung this has a silicon carbon battery so it lasts longer if you're into
02:23media consumption if you like using the larger screen and you like the idea of foldables it is
02:29finally the time where you can say that these can almost replace candy bar style phones it's just
02:34if you need to do it because for the most of the time you can get by just on the
02:38cover screen which
02:39like I said Honor has been making great folding phones for the past you know couple years so
02:44from smartphones we are switching into my favorite home piece of tech and this one's really important
02:49to me as we are like so close to being done our final house build robot vacuums I plan to
02:54have one
02:55on every floor of the house this is the brand new narwhal flow like their flagship level robot vacuum which
03:02has seen some use already the big upgrades to this you can actually see is the mop system on the
03:07bottom
03:07so traditionally you have the two circular options on other robot vacuums this one is a high-speed
03:13rolling track mop which uses fresh water and firm pressure to wash away any stains in one go without
03:17spreading any of that gunk around it's just way more efficient the next thing it has something called
03:22a dual flow tangle free system which you can see this long roller here it's actually made out of soft
03:26rubber as well as the soft bristles so if you are someone that lives with someone with long hair like
03:31my
03:32wife if you've got a pet that leaves a lot of hair around this really helps to keep all of
03:36that
03:37tangle free some other cool things about this to make it like you're all in one this mop you can
03:41see it has a bit of space here that goes right to the edge so you can get a deep
03:44corner cleaning
03:45obviously these bristles help move that debris as well these wheels are also the most rugged that
03:50I've seen so this can actually climb over obstacles up to 1.57 inches so say you have different rooms
03:55where you have like those little dividers say you have a little balcony ledge this robot vacuum can
04:00actually climb over and continue cleaning in other rooms you can obviously set no-go zones within the app
04:05all the controls are through there and this is the most powerful robot vacuum I've seen at 22 000
04:11pascals of suction power so if you're looking for the latest and greatest this is by far the best one
04:17that I've tested in 2025 and trust me I've reviewed a lot of them this one is making it to
04:22my house
04:22okay so moving on to laptops obviously I had to feature some with the brand new nvidia rtx 50 series
04:28because these are absolute beasts so as an example these ones are both from alienware they are rocking
04:33slightly different cards they look very similar kind of front facing one has the rtx 50 60 in it
04:39and this one has the 50 70 the names kind of reflect that this being the alienware 16 aurora and
04:45this
04:45being the 16x aurora obviously you have the flagship card the 5090 which is reserved for the best of the
04:51best but for just gaming laptops in general so these are kind of positioned say you are like back to
04:58school that's right around the corner if you're going towards a professional program if you're going to your
05:02masters you're taking your mba you have a bit more money you're not like a broke ass undergrad student
05:07these ones will definitely fit your bill for performance so obviously you can run really high
05:12level programs you can do anything from you know high level autocad you can do a lot of computer
05:17programming but you can still rock out on any of the games triple a titles that you want so obviously
05:23the big benefit of the new 50 series is frame gen so you can kind of create artificial frames for
05:30gameplay for example the game that i've been spending a lot of time on is a space marine 2 which
05:35i picked
05:35up on prime day for 50 off uh this 16x gets up to 240 hertz because it has the panel
05:41or the display
05:42that supports that the 16 just has 120 hertz so you can really maximize your frame rates and obviously
05:48pricing these will kind of vary on how you decide to spec them other than the graphics cards of course
05:53so
05:53for example this one has the intel core ultra 9 whereas the one on the bottom has the core 7
05:58and
05:58something else that i do like about both of these if this is your all-in-one and you want
06:02to dock it
06:03most of the io ports are actually on the back so when you are creating a desk setup you can
06:08just kind
06:08of plug in all the io here these are actually both spec with 32 gigs of ram a terabyte ssd
06:13it's still
06:14cheaper than getting say like a budget laptop and a standalone like desktop for gaming just get an
06:20all-in-one which have gotten so much better especially with the new graphics cards especially with frame
06:24gen you can get like crazy frame rates on some of the best games that have currently come out
06:29these are two of my faves once again that for the year so moving on to apple stuff so firstly
06:35their
06:35macbook air was their latest i guess like computer nothing has really changed with the m4 chip unless
06:41you need sky blue get an older m3 or the m2 technically the iphone 17 as of this video hasn't
06:47been released so currently i will still kind of keep this in this category since it is within a year
06:52this is the redesigned mac mini which came out at the end of last year super cute affordable cheap
06:59maybe my go-to desktop recommendation and for apple stuff maybe my favorite product that they've come
07:05out with like i said in the past year until we see what they come out with that iphone 17
07:1117 air
07:12i will be there fingers crossed there might be an orange iphone i have to be there okay moving on
07:18to
07:18some photo slash like video tech this isn't technically new but it's the most used piece of
07:24tech that i think i've used like in this year so this is the sony a7 cr full frame camera
07:30super thin
07:31profile this is probably my favorite camera that sony makes really portable really easy to do street
07:37photography and i've actually paired it with the 40 mil 2.5 to give it this really like cute form
07:43factor
07:43with this prime lens this is uh what i took on one of my like last like personal trips to
07:48japan
07:48this is something that i always throw in my bag if you have like large enough pockets or even like
07:53a small little edc bag you can kind of keep this on you i love this little compact form factor
07:59this
08:00thing still shoots like an s-log it's got a full frame 61 megapixel sensor so most of the stuff
08:05that
08:05you see that i take you know on ig any photos all the thumbnails that i shoot it's just with
08:10this
08:10nifty little guy i would take this over a leica i would take this over like the fuji film even
08:15like
08:15the new sony camera what's that the rx1r like mark 3 i'm losing track of like sony's naming schemes
08:21that is like five thousand dollars that doesn't have like in body image stabilization it doesn't
08:27shoot an s-log the lens is fixed like get this little guy instead it's like the best small little
08:33cam i get that it's pricey but well worth it all right so switching to audio this one is
08:38controversial i've kind of gone back and forth but these are the nothing headphones one initially
08:44i wasn't sold on the design but as i've used them more they have grown on me so much and
08:49i just got
08:50to give a huge shout out to nothing for creating different looking tech like they could have just
08:55gone with the easy cookie cutter route not saying what other brands are doing is bad but if you glance
09:00these on the street um like if you know you know but if you don't you'll be like damn what
09:05are
09:06those headphones they look so unique in the space initially i thought these should just be you know
09:10completely circular but i kind of dig what they've done around the outside of course you can get them
09:14in either white or black i also like that they still have some little analog buttons that you can
09:19press for controls like kind of going to the next track and these are actually powered or the sound is
09:25made by keff which means that they sound good do i think that they're the best on the market like
09:30the
09:30new sony x100 like mark 6s those are really good but if you want a different pair of headphones that
09:36still sound good they still give you active noise canceling and once again are the most like unique
09:41looking things in the tech space check out nothing they're really cool so moving on to gaming this one's
09:47like a really easy category because we've had no other gaming consoles uh other than the switch 2 so it
09:53automatically takes the cake like nothing from playstation like the ps5 pro garbage xbox i guess they came out
09:58with like the ally x kind of like a collab with asus it is what it is but for the
10:04switch this is
10:05like the first update that we've seen from the og switch what is it like seven eight years we finally
10:11have a new piece of hardware there are games that are like slowly trickling out initially we just had
10:16mario kart but now we have donkey kong bonanza which in my opinion was the best of the bunch that
10:21i initially tested on launch it's fun if you're a big like nintendo fan like you have to get it
10:26you'll
10:26probably keep this for the next eight years do i wish they made a switch to oled yes do i
10:32wish it
10:33was slightly smaller to make it a bit more portable yes am i upset that nintendo finally updated some
10:39hardware i'm happy about that the best gaming console of 2025 end of debate because there's
10:45really nothing else to pick from for cool little like accessory tech that i also use and kind of swear
10:49by personally so in my switch 2 i have these new play pro cards they're terabyte they have the fastest
10:54speed so if you are someone that downloads a lot of games get something that has proper storage and
10:59you can once again keep for eight years and once again personally lexar stuff is something that i use
11:05like in my day-to-day workflow so this is the sl 500 you can see how beat up it
11:09is um it's got like
11:10this little asus baked sticker i think on the back this is four terabytes literally in my day-to-day
11:17i am
11:17using this to manage footage all like the stuff these project files will go on this so i can edit
11:22with a team
11:23i can transfer footage quickly and it is super thin keep it in my pack all the time i will
11:29leave both
11:29like lexar stuff once again not sponsored by them i just kind of swear by their stuff they're solid so
11:35backpack tech i do quite a few like edcs or what's in my tech travel bag my go-to for
11:40the year this is
11:41kind of tried and trusted this is the new air sf city pack i think it's like the city pack
11:46three this
11:47one specifically is their x-pack line which has uh obviously i'm a fan of orange it has that
11:52detailing on the inside i have a separate video on my like back to school guide which you can watch
11:57after this if you want and i go into full detail but if you're looking for like an all-in
12:02-one backpack
12:02your day-to-day whether you're in school whether you're going to the gym whether you just need to
12:06haul stuff around check out air sf even the 16 inch alienware laptop that is pretty beefy fits in that
12:14with no problems and still room to spare solid piece of kit i use it every day to bring my
12:20stuff
12:20and back to the studio all right last but not least the fun stuff technically not tech related but
12:27obviously i love lego you can see all the wicked builds that i've done over the years helps that
12:31i've been sponsored by them i guess my love for them finally came through not particularly for this
12:36like video but this was one of the coolest builds that i did in 2025 it's called jango fets fire
12:42spray
12:43class starship we all know this is called the slave one i get it star wars is owned by disney
12:49lego wants to keep this you know kid friendly it's the slave one people everyone knows that
12:55that's what it is it's a really cool build like i said it's got some really cool details the landing
13:00pad kind of comes up obviously you can interact with the minifigures technically this doesn't
13:05remove or like lift up but you can kind of put them into the cockpit super cool display model
13:11obviously this being a ucs like the ultimate collector series you want to have it displayed i kind of
13:16actually like it when it's on the bottom technically you can show off some of the details like that but
13:21if this is just living say like on a desk you can see how i have some of my other
13:25ucs models just part
13:27of my set i think lego is the coolest thing it puts the biggest smile on my face honestly um
13:32not just this
13:33year but in general but that is kind of being the best tech so far into like q4 two-thirds
13:40of the year
13:40done if you've got any like fan favorites if you know any pieces of tech that you use like on
13:45a daily
13:45that you couldn't have lived without before you got them this year let me know what they are hope you
13:50guys enjoyed this one and remember just be sure to comment your favorite piece of thing since that
13:54special bonus like giveaway item which i won't spoil what it is is um on the way to one of
