00:13Well, he'll be receiving a wide range of advice.
00:16And the point is not what the American team looks like.
00:22The point is, what does the international disputes now look like?
00:25And the problem lies very squarely with Iran.
00:30Iran has, in the past, and is again trying to maintain that it controls the Strait of Hormuz.
00:36Now, the territorial waters legally belong to both Oman and Iran.
00:42But under the UN Convention of the Laws of the Sea, specifically Articles 37 to 44,
00:49makes it very clear that this is an international maritime passage
00:54and that neither country has the right to interfere with the free movement.
00:59And it's Iran's insistence that they own the Strait of Hormuz that has been at the root of this problem
01:05and for such a long time.
