The military officer who was arrested following a fatal drink driving incident along the Maju Expressway (MEX) has been remanded for five days until Tuesday (April 28).

The remand application, under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, was made on Friday (April 24) at the Dang Wangi police headquarters.

00:37The couple, on holiday in Malaysia, were heading from the airport to Kuala Lumpur when the incident occurred.
00:44A check at Kuala Lumpur Hospital's Forensic Department revealed that the post-mortem examination on Muzahid's remains has been completed.
00:54A hospital spokesperson said his remains are pending collection by his family.
