The 29-year-old man, who went viral after allegedly driving recklessly in an orange pickup truck through Seberang Jaya has been remanded for four days by the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate's Court.

The suspect has 17 prior criminal records, including 15 drug-related offences.

00:16The 29-year-old suspect was brought to the Bukit Murtajam Magistrate's Court at around 8.45am on Tuesday.
00:24A notable detail, the suspect was not wearing the standard orange detention uniform.
00:29It is understood that due to his size, no suitable orange uniform could be found at the time, and he
00:35was instead dressed in an oversized beige detention outfit.
00:38Presiding Magistrate Savinder Singh Jugindar Singh issued a four-day remand order, keeping the suspect in custody until June 12.
00:46The remand order was issued to facilitate investigations under Section 12, Subsection 3 of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952, and
00:54under Section 44, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act, 1987.
00:59Police received information regarding the incident at 10.05am on Monday.
