00:00Hey Shabbat Shalom brothers and sisters, welcome back. I thank you again for joining me today.
00:05Today I'm doing a book review here. This book is written by Barry Wilson, PhD of course.
00:14Book is called Paul vs. James. Yes, the Apostle Paul vs. James. James the Just, which was Yeshua's
00:23brother and successor in the church. Subtitle is The Battle That Shaped Christianity and
00:32Changed the World, a Historical Reconstruction. Anyways, let me first say this book is 191
00:45pages long. It's got a prologue in it and things like that, but I was trying to see when this
00:56book actually came out. Actually, it doesn't have a copyright or anything on it as far as
01:06you know, when it came out. On the back it's got some references, but let me tell you what
01:19this book is. Oh, I'm sorry. Let me tell you. This book here is kind of like a fictional mini
01:29novel or novella, whatever. It's, uh, how do you say it? It's about, uh, it's fiction based
01:39on biblical, archaeological truths, stuff like that. Got this. Okay. Here it is. This, this,
01:48this, this guy leaves Jerusalem before the fall when the Romans come in and sacked it, goes up
01:57to Antioch. He goes up to Antioch with his family and gets reestablished. He's, uh, he's got some
02:07scrolls. And, uh, anyways, his name is, uh, Matthew, but we call him Matthias or whatever in here.
02:18But when he gets up there, he's on the James side, more of a Hebrew, Hebrew type of Christianity,
02:25the way it should have been in the first place. But he goes up there. He's goes in the synagogues,
02:32you know, he's growing here, him and his family growing. He's still in the faith. And then, uh,
02:39some of, uh, the apostle Paul's disciples come in and they start questioning. They start having these
02:47little ramblings and arguments and stuff like that. But it's, it's just, it's an interesting
02:55thing. I don't want to spoil it or tell you the end of this, but it's interesting. I mean,
03:01and it's long, this is like, uh, maybe, uh, less than a decade after the apostle Paul and James
03:09passes away after they was martyred or whatever you want to call it. But, uh, here's some historical
03:16things here, like their background of the way of life when it come to these guys. That's all I want
03:25to say there. But it is, like I said, it's, it's very interesting. And I got this book. I got
03:36this
03:36book. I think it was one of these. I thought it was a research book because I like to check
03:41up on research and things like that. But when, when, uh, I realized that this thing was kind
03:47of like, um, almost like a novel, it, uh, struck me. I read it and liked it and everything else.
03:56So,
03:58so if you guys are interested in this, I said, I do, I highly suggest that you get this book.
04:06And that's all I have to say about that, but go, yeah, amazon.com or online bookstore anywhere.
04:13Look for this book. You'll probably find it cheap. Barry, Barry Wilson, PhD. And, uh,
04:21I, I, uh, he wrote another book. He did another research book and, uh, I, uh, I don't know if
04:28I'm
04:29going to have it published on here on this site before or after I got, I, I got it.
04:36But I got so many videos that I'm publishing working around, but, uh, yeah, check this book
04:43out. So I got to say is check this book out. You won't be disappointed if you're into that
04:49stuff. Paul versus James. Think about that. Anyways, that's all I have to say right now.
04:57And, uh, God bless is what some of people say, but I say, hallelujah. Hallelujah is Yahweh, you
05:08know, Yahweh. But anyways, that's all I have to say. Thank you again to meet again, brothers
05:15and sisters, peace out. Shalom.
