00:04book review and this is a good book review it's a book called No Man Knows
00:09My History by Fawn Brody it's right here it's a biography on Joseph Smith this
00:18book she first come out and I think 1945 but I got like a second edition or
00:25third the second one I believe in 1970s and this book is a very telling if you
00:32if you're into this stuff Mormon non-Mormon ex-Mormon whatever you want to
00:38call yourself but yeah this book it's got a lot of good stuff in it and it's the
00:46reason okay the reason the reason Fawn redid it in the 70s or whatever was
00:54because there's more access to the archive footage of everything as far as
01:01notes dictations diaries whatever the records in Utah and also the reorganized
01:10Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the other group that didn't agree
01:15with the Brigham Young part about it but that's it that's another story in another
01:19day but anyways this book yeah it's uh it's got it's got a lot of a lot of stuff
01:26here as far as uh
01:31this book is uh I want to say this book is
01:37like 500 and 500 pages roughly over 500 it's got some pictures in it
01:43I'll show you some pictures here in a second but uh it's got pictures in it
01:48well here's here's some diagrams just want to show you some diagrams here
01:54it's got diagrams in it it's got old portrait photo uh portraits in it not
02:01photographs but uh if I could find some for some reason yeah here it is
02:09this is uh this is uh Joseph Smith's mother a portrait right here
02:17it's got a picture of him it's got a picture of the
02:20people in the church and everything uh
02:24heber
02:25kimball uh parley pratt uh
02:28whoever the names you know mormons would know who I'm talking about here
02:32john c bennett which is a
02:36cursor you know somebody you know you want to talk about but
02:39but anyways this book I got this book uh off amazon I was just curious because
02:45I did uh I did another post back a ways back and uh
02:51it was uh richard bushman's book uh rough stone rolling
02:57and it was a good book and a lot of this book here
03:00does have some documentation as the other book the richard richard's book
03:05but this has different things too something to consider
03:10and you know be me I was I'm a former former mormon
03:15and uh there's a lot of stuff in that and richard bushman's book
03:20and this book that I didn't know
03:24it's just how it was
03:26like Emma
03:27Emma you know Joseph's wife was you know the
03:30the blessed mom basically you know I mean
03:33she was she was the mother you wanted to have the wife you wanted to have and
03:38everything but
03:40it wasn't so and and and mr bushman's book and this book here
03:45but I encourage you to get this I got this
03:48you know pretty damn pretty cheap on uh amazon
03:52well not cheap it was like 16 17 dollars after the
03:56the taxes and the shipping and everything but uh
04:00but anyways uh it's got on the back of it
04:04if you're interested in this on the back of it
04:06it's got uh appendixes appendix sorry appendixes
04:11uh excuse me but uh it's got a list of joseph's wives
04:18and what happened to them who they married
04:21after after joseph passed away
04:25this book also unlike the other book i'm telling you i read
04:29it gives a little uh theory of where the name mormon came from
04:36it could have came from two men
04:38and then when it come to uh writing the book of mormon
04:44there's a couple names in there
04:47that were people that didn't like the smith family
04:51you know joseph senior
04:55lucy you know the kids and everything didn't like him
04:58and you know this just strikes your strikes you a little
05:01you know it just perks you up a little bit but
05:04i'm telling you get this book if you're interested in this subject
05:09you get on amazon and other bookstores anywhere
05:13uh but you won't be and like i said uh
05:17uh the bushman richard bushman
05:19rough uh rough stone rolling rough yeah rough rolling stone i mean
05:24uh get that book too and there's another book there's a third book
05:28i'm gonna get about the biography and it's gonna probably be different
05:32than these but the same but i'm just gonna tell you
05:39got the pictures in here and this is like the 1970s version
05:43here's a picture of the banknotes joseph joseph did
05:49trying to start his own little bank thing up
05:51uh he was he was such a i don't want to say a shyster but
05:56you know instead of the kingdom of heaven their kingdom of god what he
06:00wants to call himself back then he's also the kingdom of the
06:04world and everything i mean he just wanted to
06:07build towns he wanted to build communities towns but mormon ones
06:12i you know some people say he wanted to create an empire and be king or
06:16whoever whatever but that's uh that's that's history and i i like it
06:23i like american history and when it comes to religion you know
06:27you know i just can't turn a blind eye to it i like that too
06:31uh but anyways hey check this book out give me a give me a comment if you've

06:46stuff like that uh and there was a couple girls uh that
06:52basically they they're into this i mean they're anti
06:56they they came out of the mormon church but
06:58if you check them out uh on youtube uh what was their names
07:03alissa grenfell grenfell i think yeah
07:08and uh lindsey lindsey hansen park i believe that's names
07:16check them out on youtube you know because they they get down into the
07:20dirt they have these hour-long podcast you know things about this
07:27and and i'm telling you get this book get this book and uh
07:36bushman bushman was more even though bushman is a latter-day saint
07:40he wanted to be more not biased towards his faith
07:43but he wanted to squirm off to the other faith
07:46you know uh faithlessness whatever he wanted to
07:50be in the middle and everything he did a great job
07:53bushman did a great job check my other video out
07:56richard bushman like i said this book here it's not as bad i mean
08:02it's i mean it's more you know it's just as informative
08:06but if you're into the joseph smith saga and everything everything going on
08:12it's you know not just part of religion or
08:16you know anti anti-christian whatever it's american history
