Tensions have spiked dramatically in Tehran after reports of hostile aerial activity and explosions shook parts of the city. According to Iranian media, air defence systems were activated and engaged “hostile targets,” though the exact nature of those threats remains unclear.

Early reports and unverified visuals circulating online claim that two drones entered Iranian airspace, followed by a loud blast — raising speculation about possible involvement of the United States or Israel. However, no official confirmation has been provided on who was responsible or what exactly was hit.

00:58It's not exactly right.

01:21We are going to make a difference.
01:50And we're all watching!
01:53Let's go!
02:32March 4th, 2026.
02:34In the Indian Ocean, just 19 nautical miles off the coast of Sri Lanka, a torpedo is launched from beneath
02:41the waves.
02:41The target? The Iris Denna.
02:44At least 87 sailors dead, 61 more missing.
02:48The submarine that fired? The USS Charlotte.
02:53And Donald Trump? He couldn't wait to talk about it.
02:56Speaking to reporters after stepping off Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews, Trump declared,
03:02Their military is destroyed. Their whole Navy is underwater.
03:06You know that 158 ships are gone. Their Navy is gone. Most of their mine droppers are gone.
03:13He didn't stop there.
03:14In separate remarks to Fox News, Trump said,
03:17We have sunk all Iranian ships and destroyed most missile launch platforms, with only 20% remaining.
03:25Strong words. Big numbers.
03:27But were they true?
03:29And that brings us to the man at the center of today's video.
03:32Major General Amir Hatami, commander in chief of Iran's army, a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war.
03:39They're saying that we have completely eliminated your Navy.
03:43This naval force, which they have repeatedly claimed to be completely destroyed and gone, today stands firm, resolute and unwavering.
03:51They are consistently compelled to maintain a significant distance of 200 to 300 kilometers from this very naval power.
03:59But here's the thing. It's not entirely without basis.
04:04Iran's naval forces aren't a single entity.
04:06They're split between two very different structures.
04:10You have the IRYN, the regular Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, and then you have the IRGCN, the Revolutionary Guard
04:19Corps Navy, built for something entirely different.
04:22Fast attack craft, swarm tactics, mines.
04:25That second force? It's still very much operational.
04:30After the war began in late February 2026, Iran moved to exert control over the Strait of Hormuz, one of
04:37the most critical shipping lanes on Earth, carrying roughly 20% of the world's oil.
04:43Major container shipping companies, including Maersk, CMA CGM, and Hapog Lloyd, suspended all transits through the strait. Oil prices went
04:52through the roof.
04:53Then came the U.S. counterpunch. After peace talks in Islamabad collapsed on April 12, 2026, Trump declared a full
05:02U.S. naval blockade.
05:03And then, on April 20, something remarkable happened.
05:07U.S. forces fired on and seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship, the MV Tosca, after it attempted to bypass
05:15the naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman.
05:17Marines rappled from helicopters onto its deck.
05:20Iran was furious.
05:23Iran's foreign ministry called the seizure extremely dangerous and criminal and vowed to retaliate.
05:29And then, just this week, April 22, Iran attacked at least three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz, just
05:37hours after Trump extended the ceasefire.
05:39Iran's Revolutionary Guard Navy seized two of those vessels, claiming maritime violations.
05:46So what about that 300-kilometer line?
05:49Is the U.S. Navy really keeping its distance out of fear?
05:52Here's the honest answer.
05:54It's complicated.
05:56Trump says the Iranian Navy is gone.
05:58Hatami says it's never been stronger.
06:01The truth?
06:02It's somewhere in between.
06:03And the Strait of Hormuz is the battlefield where that argument is being settled in real time.
06:09Hatami himself declared that the Iranian armed forces stand ready to confront any threat with firm determination, watchful eyes and
06:18ire, will and fingers on the trigger.
06:20Whether that's confidence or desperation, only the next few days will tell.
