A rugby club is to get upgraded facilities after plans were agreed with the council. Old Otliensians will build an extension to house new changing rooms, along with a physiotherapy suite and referee's room.

00:18applied to demolish an existing extension to the main building to make way for the facilities.
00:24More space would be made for women's and children's teams as part of the project,
00:28which is part funded by the Rugby Football Union. A design report said the thriving club
00:34had seen recent successes in National Cup competitions.
00:38The pool road development is on Greenbelt land but is acceptable for the provision of outdoor sport.
