UBEC Transforms Classrooms, Reaches 8.7 Million Pupils Nationwide
Nigeria’s classroom crisis is getting a major digital and structural upgrade as the Universal Basic Education Commission says about 8.7 million pupils are now benefiting from improved learning conditions across the country.

The Commission disclosed this at its 29th quarterly meeting with State Universal Basic Education Board representatives, highlighting ongoing efforts to upgrade infrastructure, enhance digital learning, and create a more conducive environment for basic education.

The intervention is aimed at strengthening foundational learning and addressing long-standing challenges in Nigeria’s education sector.
