00:34Apparently, my dress has been pushed further out.

00:42Our wedding is the first week of November,

00:44which is definitely not enough time for me

00:47to be able to get alterations done on the dress.

01:19We're about a month away from the wedding,

01:20and there are a lot of projects going on.

01:22I am working on our wedding guest book.

01:26I thought it would be cool for us to have something to hang.

01:31I'm kind of an artiste.

01:33I got a project for us to do here in a little bit.

01:36It's an activity that I saw on social media.

01:40Is it a fun activity?

01:42Not long ago, I would scroll through social media,

01:44and I see these little videos of couples doing portraits of one another.

01:54And I thought, you know what?

01:55Elizabeth's working on her guest book, and she's very artistic,

01:58so this is a great time to test out our artistic abilities.

02:05Alex and I both lack artistic ability,

02:08so we knew that we're just going to be the team players

02:12and we're going to give it our best shot because we know we both suck.

02:16Me and Mom are going to paint each other.

02:23Bryce and Elizabeth are going to paint a mural of each other.

02:26And then Emma is going to paint a mural of Layton.

02:30I am a little sad no one's doing me.

03:33I just couldn't have fun with it. I don't know why. This is my activity and I wanted to have

03:39So the wedding dress, we are going to go pick it up from the shop and take it to the

03:47seamstress.

03:49Since the dress I ordered is delayed for another month, we decided to just buy the floor model.

03:55But I'm still pretty nervous about getting alterations done since we only have about a month left for the wedding.

07:30Today, I'm meeting my friend Rance, and he is a competitive golfer in the Adaptive Golf League.

07:38Rance has played golf with Jonah and I and our other group of little people that meet up every year

07:43in Myrtle Beach.

07:44And he has seen many of us play golf with clubs that I have modified and adapted for little people.

07:50I like this brandy.

07:51How do you like that?

07:51Yeah, that's nice.

07:52Boppage Golf is getting a little bit of traction.

07:54Yeah, yeah.

07:56For maybe five years now, I have been building golf clubs and adapting golf clubs for little people.

08:03I started my Boppage Golf business about two years ago.

08:07Jonah said, Dad, no pun intended, but what we're doing for little people is a very small market.

08:11We need to be doing this for everybody in our community.

08:13And I said, you know, that's a great idea.

08:16And that's how we started.

08:18How long have you had these?

08:20About 15 years.

08:21Are you serious?

08:22So the clubs I play with are about 15 years old.

08:25I got them when I was in high school.

08:28But they are kids clubs, which are essentially clubs made for kids and then cut down to my size.

08:35They're actually not conforming for the PGA.

08:39They're not allowing them?

08:40They're so old, they're like actually outdated.

08:44So where do you play in the tour?

08:46So when I was in the tournament for the USGA qualifier, I played with some ladies clubs.

08:53That didn't go so well.

08:58It's a little light, because literally I didn't do anything to them.

09:00They're just junior clubs, got them cut.

09:12So the thing about kids clubs, they're made for kids.

09:15And yes, I am about the size of a 12 year old.

09:52So I'm taking a photography class this semester, and one of my assignments is to take portraits.

10:03This is my first time taking portraits with my camera.

10:06And the main things I like taking pictures of are just, like, really inanimate objects.

10:11They're just very easy to take pictures of, because they stand still.

12:49and he is an extremely good golfer.

12:51But Rance is still playing the same set of junior golf clubs

12:55that he's had for a little over 15 years,

12:56and I am confident that I can improve Rance's golf game

12:59with a new set of clubs.

13:03I'm hype about these.

13:04I know they're a little long.

13:05They're four to five inches too long.

13:07It's crazy, Trent, because I've been going to the Taylor all my life,

13:11but I never went to the Taylor for my golf clubs.

13:14All my life I've had to adapt,

13:16whether it's going to the Taylor, pedal extenders for my car,

13:19stepladders around my apartment,

13:21and so I'm super excited to be fitted with a new set just for me,

13:26tailored down to my specifications to play my best golf.

13:36It's a little tricky.

13:38When Rance started swinging those full-size clubs,

13:41it's taking more energy out of him to swing this club to make it work.

13:45And if you're having to do that while you're competing in a tour match,

13:50I mean, by the 10th or 11th hole, you're gassed.

13:54I think with these clubs, getting them fitted for me,

13:58that'll shave five strokes off my handicap.

14:01Whether we're playing with little people or we're playing with our average-sized friends,

14:04we want to be equal.

14:07And playing golf as a little person with average-sized clubs is just...

14:12It's not a level playing field.

14:14I've built a lot of clubs for little people,

14:16but I want to build clubs for you to watch you advance your game.

16:00So taking portraits of, like, older people is definitely easier.

16:11and you kind of have to make her, like, giggle in order to get her to smile.

16:14I mean, I'm all set in terms of my project,

16:17because, I mean, he only said I needed, I think, 24,

16:20and I got plenty of those.

16:21So I think the photo shoot went pretty well overall,

16:24but I am kind of nervous to see how the photos turned out.

32:19Between trying to do this, trying to get ready for the wedding, trying to keep good spirits for the wedding,

32:31As much as I want Elizabeth's wedding to happen and play out just as she has wished, I just need

32:40to step back, focus on Nana, handle some of her affairs.

32:44That way I can get back to my to-do list for the wedding.
