00:18Alright Alex, to start off, you started this business year 2023.
00:23Prior to doing this, nag-ne-negosyo na tayo. Tell us more about your business journey.
00:27Actually, nag-start kami ng 2018, tapos nag-start kami sa small milk tea shop.
00:33And then some of my friends asked me kung nagpapa-franchise kami.
00:36However, we're not yet ready during that time.
00:39So nag-start kami with, nag-share kami ng Jelish Tutorial Services,
00:43which is offering milk tea and coffee trainings.
00:46So for that, mas-assure namin kung paano mag-timpla, mag-costing, mag-create ng mga systems.
00:51And then eventually, ang nakita namin problem is kulang talaga sa sistema,
00:57kaya nalulugi yung mga nagninegosyo nito.
01:00Kaya can-reate talaga namin yung business namin to big talaga yung vision namin
01:05and to franchising, to consultations.
01:08So doon na nag-move yung talagang journey namin.
01:11What made you decide to enter beverage business or yung milk tea business?
01:16Is this something that interests you or is this your passion?
01:19I'm a coffee enthusiast talaga ako.
01:22So nag-start ako mag-aral talaga ng coffee, yung talaga ng farming,
01:27and then eventually talagang yung passion ko talaga mag-create ng beverage.
01:30At at the same time, kasi hindi siya mahirap i-prepare.
01:33And wala tayong spoilage pagdating sa drinks.
01:35So that's why ang laki din ang mark-up,
01:38and at the same time, yung mga tao talaga sa Pilipinas, they love drinks.
01:42Let's talk about franchising.
01:44So this is the good side of what you have right now.
01:46So tell us more about your franchising business.
01:49So dito, binibigay namin as a franchisor, binapahirap namin yung name and system,
01:54and then binibigyan namin sila ng full support training.
01:58So from admin operations, dun sa lahat ng kailangan nila sa operations,
02:04and then sa pagtitimpla, yung mga docenton,
02:07don't end, and then of course, yung food and safety management.
02:10So tinuturo din natin sa kanila kung paano nila mababalik yung return of investment nila
02:15by giving them the provision, getting them the capital investment,
02:18and of course, yung operational expenses nila to get their monthly quota,
02:23and kung gaano ba nila kabilis ito makukuha.
02:25Para sa mga kanegosyo natin, John, who would also like to enter business in time,
02:30ano ba yung advice na mabibigay mo sa kanila?
02:33Actually, number one, huwag magmadali, no?
02:35Huwag magmadali and magkaroon ng business plan.
02:38Kasi hindi talaga siya yung parang pag-trend lang siya,
02:41magbe-business ka, okay na siya.
02:42So dapat meron tayong business plan, pag-aralan talaga natin,
02:45and then gumawa tayo talaga ng branding and system before tayo mag-execute.
02:50Ms. Alexandra, bakit importanteng magnegosyo ang bawat mamamayang Pilipino?
02:55It's part of our culture na dapat matuto ng magnegosyo yung mga Pilipino, no?
03:00Especially, kailangan may leverage tayo.
03:03Hindi lang nag-stay in one income.
03:05So dapat meron tayong other income to sustain our expense here,
03:10especially ngayon nagmamahal po ang mga Pilipino.
