00:00So welcome to the incredible Skimbrite Multi-IPL platform. My name is Manisha Fraser and I'm the
00:08Chief Educator and Trainer for NIMA Education and Aesthetics Depot. So our Skimbrite Multi-IPL
00:16device is very user-friendly. When your device is set up, there's water put in the reserve in
00:23the back and there's a breaker that needs to be switched on. When that is switched on,
00:28you power it up with this button, press it in, and the device will power up. Your tools are the
00:39goggles for your technician and here are your client goggles. Do not mistake them for goggles
00:46you would wear in a taming bed. These have a special filter put into them to protect the eyes.
00:52If you are unsure which goggles to use, the wavelength of goggles that you need for your
00:59device, you'll be ready to know which bop with a lens on the top of the goggles or on the
01:04inside
01:05of the arm of the bottles.
01:11When your spring comes up, you will have an auction of your stamp mode, which will be single
01:16calls only and you're in motion, which will be a rapid calls. Up in the top right-hand corridor,
01:24when I click, it will give you the opportunity to enter your client's information. Moving forward,
01:31when that client comes in, you would click on to that client.
01:36Let's back out there and then we'll choose whether it's in motion or it hits a stamp in.
01:42We'll put a bin motion and here you have the indications you want to look with.
01:47If hair removal, I would choose the Fitzpatrick first. So if we go with a Fitzpatrick 4,
01:54that will determine your milliseconds.
01:58Here you can set your cooling, if you want it less cooling or if you want it full crew.
02:07Then you'll go to your cranberry sheet and you will decide based on the Fitzpatrick of your client,
02:13we're going to set your jewels and Merck frequency. So we'll go down Fitzpatrick 4,
02:22Kasa B and Energy 2, your Fertz maybe 3 or 4. Then you're ready to start treating.
02:42Your crystal temperature goes down enough that when you are lasering the client,
02:50it's comfortable, it's painless, it's cool and you're preserving the integrity of the skin while
02:57you're trying to meet your target. Which in this case will be the pigment within the hair. So if
03:04you go to turn on your incredible Skingrite Multi-IPL and it doesn't turn on, it's quite possible that
03:13your emergency button was pushed in. Turn it clockwise, it pops out and your machine should turn on.
03:20If you go to remove your handpiece, you've got a button on the top and a button on the below,
03:24you're going to press both of them and pull directly out. If you choose to turn on your
03:31machine at this point, you're not going to be able to use the handpiece that is plugged in and in
03:35fact
03:35water would spit out. So to replace your handpiece, the same thing, press your buttons in, align them
03:42and just push directly in until you hear a click. So why I do this, this is my tactic. The
03:50reason I do that
03:51is it gives a little bit of a pain in the post-work, especially here, how to increase your knowledge
03:56jewels, right? It also makes the client healer more comfortable if it's got a bit of a spicy bite to
04:04it.
04:04Okay. So I'm using the jawline as my guide. Position. Okay. Doing okay.
04:21Now when somebody has a little bit of dascula going on, it can just sensitive there, right? So come,
04:29I'll cure. And we'll just put some of the gel on her.
04:46The gel, I'm going to keep this in motion and pulse. Okay. See, so we're getting like a nice little
04:55overlap there. Wait, can I need to mirror my hand a little bit? Because sure, you can go ahead and
05:00do
05:00it now. Okay. There you go. Not too much pressure. Follow the jawline and don't put too much pressure
05:08because I know it's like you're putting a little bit too much pressure on the cheek. Just relax.
05:13We're just making a comfortable contact, um, a secure contact. We're not bearing in. Okay. So lighten your,
05:21your touch and you're good to go. So come horizontal under the chin. And let it go.
05:29Again, I might go a little more frequently to come around to the skin.
05:33Go ahead. And come back up to the lip. So there you go. All right. Now come back here and
05:39give yourself
05:40a nice little overlap. Your skin is actually drying in. Yeah, it's getting older too. But you know what you're
05:48going to notice too, is after this treatment, your skin is actually going to draw in more hydration.
05:53Yeah. So. Man would.
05:56Go the other way. Start with the direction you were. It's okay. Like it. You're, you're doing okay.
06:02There you go. That's good. Okay. Oh, now remember eyes or head. You're still getting a nice overlap,
06:10but when you come to the corner of the eye, you're kind of done. And now you can turn horizontally
06:14at the
06:15base of the cheek, right? See, there you go. So you got that now. Okay. Try to get as much
06:22coverage.
06:23There you go. I'm not going to get into too much farther. And I don't might have a break between
06:28the hand piece and the skin when they get into this area. Okay. So I'm going to come into about
06:33here.
06:35Okay. And I'm going to cool it down. This is where you want to be. It feels very cold now.
06:40I know.
06:41Yeah. And I was about to say, we have less adequate tissue in the forehead, right? So they're going to
06:46feel. Cool. And if you need that on too long, it's kind of like when you eat ice cream to
06:50get that
06:51real freeze. Right? Yeah. Okay. So I'll count to three and we'll pulse. So one, two, three. How's that?
06:58Very cool. Should we reduce a little bit of gel? Yeah.
07:04But relax. Oh, there it is. All right. So I'm staying away from the area that was pigmented. Okay.
07:13But I'm still getting a nice bubble out from here to here. Now it felt like nothing. Okay. But when
07:19I come
07:19above the brow area, rather than doing this, you see where you're going to run into problems.
07:25I will go this way. Okay. I say I'll count to three and then you'll no longer expect it. So
07:33one,
07:34two, three. How is that? It's okay. Okay. Always being mindful of where her hairline is.
07:44Now, if she had a short distance between her, her hairline and her eyebrow, that's where using
07:54this and here would help, but it's not like they even have a lot of cancer. This is a narrow
08:00tease. So we're getting a nice coverage right there. Okay. There you go. Okay. Now turn it on an angle
08:08to go
08:08the shape of the shape of her eyebrows. Okay. Go. Go. And now let's just go back to here.
08:18There we go. There you go.
08:28So you just, you just want to have a little bit of a distance that far.
08:38Oh my gosh. And that is the impasse. Wow.
08:43I really, my pores are very small. Yeah. Do they stay like that? Wow.
08:48My pores are very small. My face is a lot brighter. Yeah. I had a lot of, yeah,
08:53like sun staining. They're Los Amores. Right here. Very brown. Oh, there.
08:59Kirsten Teich is normal to dry. Actually, is she even normal to oily with the hydration?
09:06Yeah. So when you're documenting in Skim Teich, you want to put, is it normal?
09:10Normal to dry and normal to oily. But in addition, what are we dealing with?
09:15Dehydration, acne, vlasin, whatever the case may be. So you're going to put down the skin
09:20tone or condition. Then you're going to put, what is it we're doing then?
09:23In it. And then, for date?
09:25To the, the third, right? Yeah.
09:29And this treatment number one, so TX is your afternoon for treatment. You know that?
09:34There, they say. Yeah.
09:37So this would be this one, crash, the world, and the juice was, the frequency was two.
09:46So this is correct, but this is, yours is updated. This is, um, what it was before. So just scratch
09:55out frequency. I'll change that for you because this is the updated. And just put DPL there.
10:00And it was issue. It uses the same unit?
10:05Yes, but DPL, and I'll have it in with documents. It's a car.
10:10What? You remember what? You should use the library.
10:12No, I know. I'm just saying the unit.
10:15Okay. Type four. Sorry.
10:17No, so three and four, right? No. Oh yeah. Sorry. Three and four. Correct.
10:29We're good. White pencil. I'm drawing right down here.
10:33And in their natural, relaxed position. Again, as far down as I can on this side.
10:39This side. And then one horizontal this way. And one horizontal this way. And then I only put gel in
10:45the frame, the area that I'm working. When I'm done that area, I'm in with gel. And this is where
10:51the rapid comes in really nice. And so we're going to do that now. We're going to do the in
10:57motion.
10:58This way. Do you see how we're not going to have a lot of contact?
11:01Yeah. So it's better to hold the pint's hands.
11:06And do single pulses. Oh, you still can do single pulses in this.
11:12Absolute motion. Absolutely. You have more controls with your single.
11:18When I get into this area, I'm lifting her hand up. So I'm getting better contact.
11:23Yeah. Okay. And now I won't do it. You can go ahead and do the sparks. It's coming up like
11:27this,
11:27a nice slide. You might find it easier to do it with two hands.
11:33Yeah, because it's heavy. Right? Yeah.
11:35Um, it's easy to do this side, but on the inside, it's just my preference. Because when I get down
11:40to
11:41here, I want to lift the hand and make sure I have a good contact.
11:44I love this cold sensation. Hey. Good. Not too fast here.
11:50I'll fix this shot. I'll say that's okay.
11:53All right. And so we've got a good overlock here.
11:55So now it's back and forth, right? Go and back.
12:00Yeah. Okay.
12:05Here you go.
12:06There we go.
12:09Not cheap.
12:10Here you're good, huh?
12:11You don't have a great phone, kid.
12:12Here I go.
12:12Here, here that phone accuser!
