00:00If Charlie McAvoy could avoid giving the puck away behind the net,
00:04that would be helpful this evening.
00:06But I think you're saying it's, well, you said earlier, must win.
00:09Yeah.
00:10I believe.
00:10I think Curtis said it best.
00:12He feels like, and I would kind of agree with him a little bit,
00:16that if they lose and they go down 2-0 in this series,
00:20that they probably lose this series.
00:22I don't know what the numbers.
00:23But then they do get to come back home.
00:25No, that's true.
00:26So it's at least like they've been so great at home.
00:28At least you can swing it a little bit that way.
00:30But I always feel like I said, you know, I come from the world of football,
00:35so I don't, I can't, or like I'm not familiar what it would feel like
00:41to be down 2-0 in a series and, you know, knowing that you're like you're down
00:48and granted you're coming back home.
00:49I don't know what that feeling is like because football is one and done.
00:53And I feel like if you're down 2-0, you have to be so nervous, so concerned.
00:57There's a player, you got to be every little thing.
01:00We talk about margin and error.
01:01We talk about how tight you feel.
01:03I feel like it's something that, you know, players might struggle with
01:08because of, you know, just being in that situation
01:11and looking at everything being magnified.
01:14Well, yeah, I guess it depends on how they view what happened the other night.
01:18And if they view it as we had a 2-0 lead on this team,
01:21our goaltender was great, and the collapses, that collapses on us,
01:27then they know that they can play with this team and they can, you know,
01:32if they can avoid dumb mistakes, then that they can beat the team.
01:38So what do they say about game 2-0?
01:40I don't know about the, I don't know.
01:41Well, the historic stats are terrible.
01:43For teams that go down 0-2 in the NHL and best-of-seven playoff series,
01:49it's like under 14% end up winning the series.
01:53Yeah.
01:54That's bad.
01:55Because that, like, that, like, because you, Greg, I get you saying,
01:58but if they lose game 2, then they, if they have another great performance,
02:03and so they're going on, all right, we had two really great performances,
02:07but we weren't able to capitalize.
02:10So I just don't know.
02:11I would love to speak with somebody who's been in that and going,
02:15all right, what's your mindset being down 2-0 in a series?
02:20You know, because I feel like, you know,
02:21when I always talk about the lights get tight, bright,
02:24the booty hole gets tight.
02:25I bet it they must be extremely tight being down 0-2.
02:28Just get back home, I think, is all you can think.
02:31Get back home and try to swing it back.
02:32Right, but what if the game doesn't start the way they want?
02:35Don't do they start thinking about, like, all right, the first, you know,
02:39I know it's a period, but the first quarter in hockey, they go, oh, man.
02:42No, no, no.
02:43Wiggy, don't go back to that, please.
02:45Don't start that again.
02:46But, no, if they go like the.
02:47Oh, my God, the Buffalo people are chirping me.
02:50Oh, God.
02:51But, Maggie, you understand, like, in the first period.
02:53No, I understand the difference between a quarter and a period.
02:55I promise I do.
02:56It was just one of those verbal slips.
02:59But if they don't play well in the first period,
03:01and let's say they're down 1-0 in the game,
03:04aren't they thinking with, like, in the back of their mind,
03:06they've got to be thinking, like, uh-oh, we're down 0-2 in this series?
03:10Yeah.
03:10And then they're playing to how they play the game?
03:13Yeah.
03:13I mean, I don't, I, it's not, obviously not where you want to be,
03:17but in terms of all the games that are going on
03:21and starting within 45 minutes of each other,
03:23I do feel like the Celtics are the ones that, like,
03:26if they lose this game, I'm actually more disappointed
03:30because they have no business losing this game
03:32because they were up 30-plus points
03:34because they don't have Joel Embiid from the Sixers
03:37because they're at home.
03:38I'm not saying they have to sweep their series.
03:40I'm not setting that standard,
03:42but they should go up 2-0 on this team at home.
03:45Well, they should win the series in five.
