Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has arrived in Germany for a crucial three-day official visit to strengthen the strategic defence partnership between India and Germany. He will hold key bilateral talks with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, focusing on defence industrial collaboration, co-production of military hardware, emerging technologies like AI, cyber, and drones, and possible submarine deals. A major Defence Industrial Cooperation Roadmap is expected to be finalised. This visit marks a significant step in deepening India-Germany defence and security cooperation.
