00:04So you feel the energy. I feel the jolt. Everyone's excited, you guys included, coaches, players, everybody.
00:10We're all stoked. We're excited to be a better football team than we were last year.
00:14We're excited to win football games, and it's going to be a heck of a year. I'm excited.
00:17Going back to Dexter, BJ just told us that he, quote, makes everyone's job easier.
00:22Not exactly for you. Maybe quite the opposite.
00:26What's it like to go up against a guy like that?
00:29You know, during training camp, he might make my job not easier for a couple weeks,
00:34but he makes my job easier because I go against Dexter Lawrence all training camp before I go into season.
00:40I go against T.J. Slayton. I go against Jonathan Allen. I go against B.J. Hill.
00:43I go against these guys all day during OTAs and training camp.
00:46So when I go to the season, I win against some of the top guys in the league.
00:49So he is making our job easier.
00:51And you know what? When I'm watching on Sunday when the defense is out there
00:54and the opposing offense is going three and out, that's going to make my job easier too.
00:58So regardless, this is all great. I'm so excited. Everyone's excited about it.
01:02He's a generational talent, a generational football player that we now have on the Cincinnati Bengals.
01:07They just extended him.
01:08So like I said, I feel like I've reiterated myself, but the Cincinnati Bengals ownership, coaches, top down,
01:14have done an extremely great job this offseason.
01:15I feel like it's our duty as players to go out there and put our job in and do our
01:19job moving forward.
01:21From a game plan standpoint on offense, Dexter Lawrence is someone, if you're planning against,
01:26especially pass first, I know in a pass first offense like this,
01:30how scary is he when you're an offensive line preparing for matching up against him?
01:34You circle him. I think whenever you look at your games coming up for the next season,
01:38you think about the defensive lineman that you're going to be going against.
01:41And he's a guy, when you see whatever football team he's on,
01:44and it's usually the New York Giants, you circle that game and you say,
01:46I've got to be ready to go in these areas for this guy.
01:49And he's the guy that we have on our football team now.
01:51So when teams see us, I know exactly what opposing offensive linemen are doing.
01:54They're circling this game and they're saying,
01:56hey, I know exactly who's going to be there in the interior.
01:58And it's not just him, man. We added so many different guys.
02:01Like I said, we've got John Allen.
02:02We've got all these different cats that are really going to make us more dynamic.
