00:00But Marvin Harrison Jr., I would rescue him, and I would be bullish.
00:03And as I was kind of describing what it would mean, you're taking a risk.
00:09You're trying to get more out of him.
00:11It's a lot of how the Bengals envisioned.
00:13This guy's way more talented, but envisioned Burton.
00:16When they drafted him, they were like, oh, he's going to come here.
00:18He's going to be able to fit in our offense and be a really good fit,
00:22and we're going to be able to maximize him once we get our hands on him.
00:25Obviously, that didn't work.
00:26Marvin Harrison Jr. is way more talented.
00:29And has a ton of ability.
00:32And it hasn't worked there.
00:34It could work here.
00:35I would trade a 2027 second-round pick for Marvin Harrison Jr. right now,
00:39and then some if I'm the Bengals.
00:41I would be aggressive with this.
00:43And I get it.
00:44That's mind-blowing.
00:45But part of why I would do that now versus waiting maybe to the deadline,
00:48I want those extra weeks, those extra practice reps, that extra time,
00:52because it will take time.
00:53Getting in the middle of the season when you're game-planning every week,
00:56it would take time to get him acclimated, get him comfortable enough to go out there with Joe Burrow
01:01and perform at a high level.
01:03But this would be about December and January,
01:06and obviously being the most dynamic offense in NFL history in February.
01:10That's how I would be thinking.
01:11You want to talk about all-in?
01:12Imagine that, where you add another guy that is that dynamic.
01:17And so maybe it's a second in Kobe Young.
01:19Maybe it's a second in another player.
01:23I don't know exactly who they would want.
01:24We'll see.
01:25But I would see.
01:26And that's the point here, is a lot of people probably wouldn't even consider this
01:31or think about this.
01:32It is about making your strength that much better.
01:35We've talked about it from a pass rush standpoint,
01:37how they double, triple, quadruple down from a pass rush standpoint.
01:41Imagine if you're like, oh, if we double Jamar, we have to worry about Marvin Harrison.
01:46If we double Tee Higgins and Jamar, now Marvin Harrison Jr. is being covered by a small nickel corner.
01:51Like, that's it.
01:53And this stat is so funny.
01:55I've seen this out there.
01:57And look, I think Marvin Harrison Sr., even early in his career, as you see, more productive.
02:04But once you gave him Peyton Manning and things started to take off a bit,
02:08look at what happened.
02:09Marvin Harrison Jr. would get his Peyton Manning when it comes to his future,
02:15when he hooks up with Joe Burrow.
02:17And he might not be the one this year or next year.
02:20He may never be the one with Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins in town.
02:23But it would give the Bengals such an edge over every opponent.
02:27I would be having these conversations.
02:29I would try to make this happen.
02:30And I would try to make it happen sooner rather than later,
02:33especially with those coaches' comments.
02:34It's a first-year coach.
02:35They hired him for a reason.
02:36There's going to be a new quarterback in there next year.
02:39And he's building his culture.
02:40For him to make comments like that, and the Trey McBride one was,
02:43we've got to get Trey the ball.
02:45Okay, fine.
02:45Marvin, come play in a pass-first offense where you're going to get the ball plenty,
02:49even if you are the third or fourth option in any given week.
