Jed Clampett and his bloodhound, Duke, both pursue romance with a visiting French woman, Mlle. Denise, and her poodle, respectively. Complications arise when Mrs. Drysdale realizes her poodle, Claude, is not the father of the puppies, but rather Duke is.
