00:00Hey, yo guys, what's up? My name is Selena. If you don't know me, I'm weirdly spooky, yet relatable.
00:06I have dry skin. Everyone's doing this thing where they buy these eBay mystery boxes, and I watched every single
00:13video on the internet.
00:14I'm not kidding. I have some spare time. I've seen ones not in English. Tell your friends.
00:21I spend a lot of time alone, all by choice, weirdly. If you see me, don't ever talk to me.
00:26I will be so socially awkward, I'll go home and think about it for four months straight. Not kidding.
00:34But when it came to these mystery boxes, I was like, yeah, I guess I'm going to waste my money
00:38on doing this, even though it's probably a scam.
00:40I'm going to get a box of jarbitch. Jarbitch. There's that social awkwardness coming right out at ya.
00:47So what I did is I went on, and I saw this haunted mystery box. It had been on there
00:51forever.
00:51You had to send a guy the message. I sent him this little message about me, about how me I
00:55am, which, you know, like, I have a scary podcast.
00:59I drive a hearse. Ghosts. Yeah, life. But, like, when I see them, I still do feel a tingle of
01:07diarrhea in my anus.
01:08But that's a story. That's a story for another time.
01:13So what I did is I sent the message. He agreed. He sent me the box.
01:17The box, which has been outside since around Christmastime, that I have first not found the time to do the
01:25video.
01:26Second, scary, third, it's happening today.
01:30So I thought the best place to actually open a haunted mystery box, because I don't want to bring it
01:35in my house.
01:36First rule of creepy stuff, don't bring it in your house.
01:42Of course, lipstick on the teeth.
01:45Social awkwardness, level 4 freaking thousand.
01:49Don't bring spooky stuff in your house. Don't bring Ouija boards in your house.
01:52Don't bring that stuff in your house.
01:54So, the best place to open this haunted mystery box is in my hearse.
02:00That means I have to clean it out.
02:08I'm a pig.
02:10Oh yeah, I'm standing on my couch.
02:14Because you only live once, folks.
02:16And you gotta live your best life!
02:20Hello, and welcome to my hearse.
02:22I was a little worried for this haunted mystery box, so I hope you don't mind.
02:26I asked my friend Bob to join us.
02:29He doesn't have bones or a brain, but he's all the muscle I need.
02:33Along with that, I would like to note that I am currently going blind.
02:37This right here is helping us, because hearses, they're kind of dark inside, because the curtains on the windows, the
02:47dark ceiling, and how there's kind of, you know, dead people inside of them.
02:57One thing that I didn't expect is it actually came from in Canada.
03:00I didn't really look at where it was shipping from or anything like that, and that is weird to me,
03:06and also cool.
03:07But I didn't bring a knife to open this, so let's just skip forward to when the box is open.
03:14Now is the moment.
03:16The moment where we discover the future for me.
03:21Do I get a box of garbage, or do I get some cool stuff?
03:25Or do I get a demon who will not ruin the rest of my life?
03:30Okay, so can you guys see?
03:33We have a box of bubble-wrapped items.
03:37Okay.
03:39From first glance, it smells a little musty.
03:42I know a lot of people wear gloves about this, because, you know, germs and stuff, but I don't care
03:46about myself.
03:47Dear Selena, hello.
03:48As you know, my name is Roger.
03:50Hi, Roger.
03:51I didn't tell him I'd be doing this in a YouTube video.
03:54I will let him know that I did this in a YouTube video, and respect his wishes if he wants
03:57me to take it down.
04:00I have appreciated your letter and feel thankful that these items are in your hands.
04:04Many have written, and I have unlisted.
04:06It just didn't feel right.
04:08My name is Roger.
04:09I worked as a detective for my entire working career.
04:12When you work in this field, you come across things that you would never imagine.
04:15This also led to me working with a parapsychologist at a popular university.
04:20He has since passed away.
04:23I, too, am now within my last year.
04:26Oh, Roger.
04:30The decision to pass these items along does not come easy.
04:34But in the end, the truth is that I don't want to leave them with my family,
04:38and don't think I can find someone in my area to trust with these items.
04:43Each item, I will place a description, and so forth.
04:46I have chosen to send back your money.
04:47Having these items comes with great responsibility.
04:52If you don't want these items, please contact me, and I will pay to have them shipped back.
04:56Thank you, Selena, and good luck.
04:58Please feel free to contact me anytime.
05:01Best regards, Rogers.
05:04Jeez.
05:07So, my first glance on that, I don't think this is going to be a box of junk or anything.
05:13Okay, what to do first?
05:14This one kind of came unwrapped a little bit, so let's...
05:18Okay, I actually have one kind of like this.
05:21We have a camera here.
05:22These are, like, cool ones.
05:24I don't even know when these are from.
05:2670s?
05:2680s?
05:32Probably shouldn't open stuff unless it's like,
05:34there's a ghost in the video compartment of this camera.
05:37Okay.
05:41This camera was also a piece of evidence that was to be donated.
05:47Ever since it was admitted to evidence, it had been a problem.
05:50It was used to film a murder-suicide of a young family.
05:53In the box, it was heard to rewind and stop and play constantly.
05:57We removed the batteries.
05:58This did not stop the actions of the camera.
06:00This really disturbed coworkers, so when all could be done with the camera,
06:04I took it to an electronic specialist.
06:07He was blown away by the camera and said to leave it with him for the night.
06:12That night was one he would never forget.
06:14The camera started making horrific noises.
06:17It was playing the tapes that had been removed for a year at that time.
06:21Rewinding and playing, rewinding and playing the non-existent tapes.
06:25The man shut it in his safe and went to bed.
06:28That night, he dreamt of the events of the tapes word for word.
06:31The next day, he was waiting out front of the office as I walked up at 6 a.m.
06:35He handed me the camera and explained the impossible.
06:38I knew it couldn't be donated, so I added it to my collection.
06:43The next year in February, I heard noises from my basement.
06:46Going through the boxes, I found the source.
06:48It was a camera playing the tapes that had not been in the camera for years.
06:52It really shook me, and since then, it has been stored in one of the outbuildings on our property.
06:58It came to mind the date of the sounds.
07:00That crime happened in February.
07:03February.
07:04Well, then.
07:11That's a thing.
07:21February is, like, next week.
07:23And my birthday.
07:26It's weird to hold something and know that it was used to film something like that, and
07:37that it still does something like that.
07:39I'll keep you guys updated if anything happens with this.
07:43I collect these, and a lot of them have come to me for weird reasons.
07:48Let's find out about this one.
07:51Okay, I'm going to take it out for you guys, so you guys can see it on display as I
07:55read his description.
07:58Don't ever buy these.
08:00No matter if you think it's a good idea or you want to have some fun with your friends, just
08:04don't.
08:05Okay, I actually have this in a different color.
08:10Okay.
08:16Ouija board stories are always, like, the most uncomfortable, because there's, like, four center.
08:21That's not a term of all horror movies.
08:24Not all.
08:25Get your facts straight.
08:27Okay.
08:28This Ouija board has more of a generic story.
08:30It was purchased in 1998 by the Miller family.
08:32It was found at an estate sale.
08:34When they bought the board home, it was placed on the dining room table to play after dinner.
08:39After the dishes were done, the family went to the table.
08:41The board was gone.
08:43All the members blamed each other for hiding the board.
08:45The next day, when Mr. Miller was pulling out of the driveway, he saw the board on the roof.
08:52He stopped and got out and went back to the house to get his ladder.
08:56He propped it against the house, and when he climbed up to get the board, it was gone!
09:03I threw a bag of dog shit on the roof once.
09:05It stayed for, like, four months.
09:08Unrelated, Selina.
09:10Stop.
09:11At this moment, he felt uneasy.
09:13He went to wake his wife and tell her.
09:15While walking through the dining room, he passed the board on the table!
09:19This made him lose his breath.
09:20He wanted it out of the house.
09:21He threw it in the trunk of his car and left his wife sleeping.
09:26At lunch, he called his wife to tell her what happened.
09:29When he did, she laughed.
09:32She was laughing because the children were playing with the board in the other room.
09:35That day, I was contacting about storing the board.
09:38Their youngest son, Alex, spoke to a man named John who had no face.
09:46For the first year having this board, nothing happened.
09:49It was placed in its own box in the bottom of a stack of six boxes that reached the roof.
09:54A year after, I was moving the boxes and found the board out of the box on top of the
09:58stack.
10:00Well, this is definitely a box of creepy curiosities, which I'm opening in a hearse!
10:10What is my life, guys?
10:15Why have I made these decisions?
10:20I don't know.
10:21I don't know.
10:23Okay.
10:24This one seems interesting.
10:38This one smells kind of weird.
10:40I hope it's not old food.
10:42Okay.
10:45No.
10:48I don't think there's...
10:50Oh.
10:52Yeah, that's what smells.
10:54Weird.
10:56Like, food.
10:58Old food.
11:02Okay.
11:03We'll wait to get that out.
11:05Can you see that?
11:06Yeah?
11:07Okay.
11:09This is the longest story by far.
11:14This negligee and tin was the only possession with a Jane Doe found in 1972.
11:22It lived its life in our storage room until her case was solved in 1991.
11:27Her family did not want the items.
11:29Usually, we discard them, but this box sat with our secretary.
11:33She had taken a light to the tin and, without permission, had taken it home.
11:37Inside the tin was the fabric, being covered with ground material and body fluids.
11:42Jane Doe was found at the start of decomposition.
11:47That's the smell, folks.
11:51I don't think that's the smell.
11:53I feel like that would...
11:54I've smelled dead animals.
11:56Why am I referring to dead animals right now?
12:01She didn't feel right about throwing the item out in that state, so she washed it.
12:06Hanging it in the basement to dry, she went to bed.
12:08That next morning, she awoke to it laid out on her bed.
12:12This woman lived alone.
12:13She then rolled it up and placed it in the top of her garbage and left for work.
12:17When returning to home, she found the article of clothing in a full bath of tub water.
12:24I have goosebumps.
12:26Like, actual.
12:27Like, I feel like a very...
12:29Do you know when you, like, have headphones in and you know someone's standing behind you
12:33and they kind of sneak up on you and you, like, feel like someone's there with you?
12:36Like, all these other items I didn't feel anything with, but this one, like, I...
12:50I wasn't prepared for what I've gotten myself into!
12:54I have enough problems in my own life!
12:58But, all jokes aside, I will take care of these things and I...
13:08I know it's probably because I moved the box, but...
13:12I'll treat all these things with dignity, I promise.
13:14Okay.
13:16She then put it back in the tin and brought it to the station.
13:19She was taken back by the events, but did not speak on it.
13:23The tin went back into evidence and was put back on the shelf.
13:27Later that day, a fellow detective walked by my desk, notifying me he had a half-dressed
13:31dirty woman in the interview room.
13:33He was going to get her a blanket and turn on the room's interview cameras.
13:36The room's locked from the outside.
13:38When he turned on the cameras, he saw the room was empty.
13:41He was very shaken up as he explained the story to me in front of the secretary.
13:46One, she went white and started to dry heave.
13:49We had him explain the lady in detail.
13:51My secretary and I made up a sheet of 12 women's pictures, including Jane Doe.
13:56The second we placed the paper down, his finger landed on Jane Doe's face.
14:01Our secretary went and grabbed the negligee and he almost fell over.
14:06This was what the lady was wearing.
14:08I had started collecting these items a year before, so instead of throwing out what I felt
14:13like throwing a woman out, I took the tin.
14:15I have only seen her nine times since 1991, but it's always been in the same area, not
14:20in the house.
14:21She was found along a forest line.
14:24I live in the outskirts of my city and my wife and I have seen her walking along the
14:28fence line.
14:29I have had a popular medium to our home who said she was kind and eager to speak and tell
14:35her story.
14:35I have always felt a kinship with this woman.
14:38If you would like more information about her case, please contact me.
14:44That's one of those really tragic stories, but in a way, in the ending, it's kind of beautiful.
14:50She had this person, a caretaker, and I definitely want to find out more about her case, and this
14:56is one of the spirits where I feel very comfortable welcoming them into my life, especially if it
15:02is what it has been told, but the history of her sounds definitely more true.
15:11Let's take a look at this.
15:14Is this a negligee?
15:16What is this?
15:26Oh, God.
15:30So that looks like the front.
15:33There's a stain on there.
15:38Good Lord.
15:40So that's very...
15:41It looks like something, like, in the 50s, people would wear on their wedding night.
15:46Look, there's hairs on it.
15:49Black hair.
15:53Oh, there's more.
15:57I know she said it's washed.
15:58Like, I know I should probably be wearing gloves, but I'm just not like that.
16:03Well, that's super scary, terrifying, sad, beautiful, and dark all at once.
16:13I actually have some of these, too.
16:15I have one.
16:16I think I have this one just like this in pink.
16:22I'm going to keep her in her tent with her story.
16:28I knew it.
16:29There's always a doll.
16:31There's always a creepy doll.
16:35I know she's not like that.
16:36I don't know.
16:36I know she's not like this in pink.
16:44I don't know.
16:45I don't know.
16:48I don't know.
16:56of drama in our county it made its first appearance when it was anonymously mailed to a local pastor
17:02after receiving the doll he began having horrific nightmares that quickly made their way into real
17:07life me same same the pastor started seeing the girl that resembled the doll everywhere he went
17:16this started a circle of madness i remember a church oh a member of the church took the doll
17:22a woman the next issue is found to cease at the bottom of her stairs coincidence the doll then
17:29went to a daughter who did not know any history of the doll a few weeks later a story was
17:34circling
17:35online about the doll um the girl and the nightmares it was then passed to a man who had the
17:41same
17:41i took the doll in 2002 when the now owner had researched me it was kept in a storage unit
17:49off
17:49the property i'm not gonna test this one guys this one will be staying in my garage
18:10oh my god
18:22yeah i just had a terrifying experience i'm sitting in my hearse which is at the front of my
18:26house and i literally as i paused there i felt like a mailman or a woman or someone just like
18:32walked all i can see from right here is the corner of my house in the beginning of my walkway
18:36and it
18:36just looked like someone walked up and there's there is no one there reflection let's say that
18:49here she is
18:56what have you done selena what have you opened up what can of worms what have you done to yourself
19:07two items left
19:16i feel so uneasy right now i can't even explain
19:21the the barf diarrhea feelings i have going on anyways um
19:27let's do this as a surprise because there's something in here i can feel it there's something
19:31hard okay oh we're gonna open it it's called the clown
19:46great
19:58i've never been a fan of clowns i don't like people i don't like mascots so i don't like like
20:02not knowing what's inside of something i'm just gonna place in front of me this short one the clown
20:08the clown was person was purchased at auction in 1983 and was alleged to have belonged to
20:15john wayne gacy the infamous serial killer
20:22this is weird i have a story for you guys i have a podcast episode about john wayne gacy i've
20:29read
20:29books about john wayne gacy i've even been on ebay like looking at letters he wrote to people and like
20:34wanting to buy them on ebay um then i was like that's insane selena don't do that uh and now
20:41we
20:42have an john wayne gacy was really into clowns he dressed up as a clown he did a lot of
20:47art of
20:47clowns while he was in prison before he was executed so uh i got chills again we got this guy
20:54okay
20:57this is not a story that can be backed up okay good so we don't know for sure
21:03the haunting of this item makes me believe its origin
21:11so
21:16so filming that segment it my camera turned off just shut off um
21:24i was doing the last item here when i realized like the camera it stays on for a little bit
21:30that's never happened as we're talking about the john wayne gacy so dramatically at the end of that
21:37clip i just like rolled it up wrapped it in this and was like sorry not today um so i
21:43don't know how
21:44far we got in this so um i'm just gonna read again if i click forward then i figured out
21:48you guys heard it
21:50you guys saw the item so i'm just gonna leave it wrapped up but i'm gonna read this again
21:55the clown this clown was purchased at auction in 1983 and was alleged to belong to john wayne gacy
22:02the infamous serial killer this was not a story that can be backed up the haunting of this item
22:07makes me believe its origin it was passed to me after it had been in the pinpoint of two
22:12investigations in the 80s and 90s this clown was moved rooms within the night along with a large man's
22:18shadow has been seen cast by this figure even in the darkest of the night the longer that it was
22:24left
22:24out the bigger the shadow would get and it was reported to sway due to the nature of this item
22:29the last owner received this cloth from a rabbi since being wrapped the spirit has been inactive
22:35i suggest keeping it wrapped while stored note laughing and heavy gurgling has been heard in the room this
22:41has been stored makes me feel uneasy that my camera stopped because usually like it makes some noise
22:49and it stops recording so great
22:56okay
22:59okay it's a corset like a really old corset with a really skinny person oh my gosh seriously hold on
23:10look at that look at that this is a thigh corset my friends and then we have
23:21a neck thingy majiggy and some thigh high socks i had these out before but you know the camera stopped
23:30recording okay this corset this corset set was a family heirloom and family secret it has been passed
23:42from generation to generation along with its spirit it had been seen by all members of the family elizabeth
23:48vivian was 22 when she was due to wed she passed two days before her wedding from a presumed aneurysm
23:54in
23:55her sleep elizabeth had everything for her big day laid out on her city this item was taken by her
24:01sister as a keepsake that was when the sighting started elizabeth was blonde and is seen in a long
24:08pastel blue gown everywhere this has been stored the people there get glances of her looking out windows
24:14with her back or side to the viewer it was i was given this as the last owner had no
24:21relatives she
24:21wanted someone to keep her safe i have seen elizabeth many many many many times possibly
24:27hundreds of times and only in the morning between seven and ten she really has a kind energy and she
24:33is the one i most worry about losing please take care of her
24:40that's a beautiful story and i would love to take care of elizabeth
24:46like those are the way that i see things i kind of see people not as ghosts but as other
24:53people so
24:54it's not new for me to see a lady staring out the window i'm kidding it still freaks me out
24:58but i am 100 down for taking care of elizabeth
